Bland, 31, from Greetland, West Yorkshire, and the victim - a man in his 70s - had a tumultuous relationship that reached its boiling point on January 6 this year.
Prosecutor Nathan Davis told Bradford Crown Court on Friday: "He left after an argument and she would call him and be abusive and ask for money."
At around 4pm, Bland discovered he was at a bus station in Halifax and travelled to him where she called him a racist word and a "dirty dog".
She then proceeded to grab him by the collar of his coat and throw him around as she cruelly demanded cash.

The pensioner offered Bland £20 - but she wanted his bank card.
She then became aggressive when he refused to hand it over, instead offering the alternative of going to a cash point together to withdraw money.
It was on the journey she became more violent and began kicking him in the leg and screaming at him.
A woman who was witnessing the horror abuse then tried to intervene but Bland turned on her - grabbing her by the scarf and threatening to "knock her jaw off" if she "didn't shut the f*** up".

Bland then continued to assault the elderly man and even managed to withdraw £40 from his bank account before cops showed up.
She was arrested and answered "no comment" in her interview.

"'Her behaviour is the last weeks has become worse. It has affected me to the point I want to give up with life.

"I never want to come home due to the mess she has left in my house."
The court heard how Bland, who appeared over a video link from HMP New Hall, had previous convictions on her record.
She was actually the subject of a suspended sentence for another robbery at the time she committed those she fell to be sentenced for on Friday.
Mitigating, Shila Whitehead, said: "What she tells me is she has been in custody since January.

I stayed in a popular hotel before finding a strange man under my bed, I still suffer from PTSD & won't forget his smell

Plus, the cruel reaction she's had from some men HORROR STAY I stayed in a popular hotel before finding a strange man under my bed, I still suffer from PTSD & won't forget his smell Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MANY people love to check into a hotel to unwind - but one woman was left horrified after claiming she discovered a strange man under her bed. Natali Khomenk, who lives in Thailand, shared how she had visited Japan on a solo trip in March as she had thought it was a very safe country. She set off sightseeing the following day, but had the traumatic experience upon her return. In a clip on her @natalisi account, she claimed: 'I came back around 7:30 p.m., unlocked my room like usual, took off my clothes, lay down on the bed, and then I noticed a weird smell. 'At first, I thought it was coming from my hair or the bed sheets, but then I realised it was coming from under the bed. 'Jokingly, I thought, 'What if there's a dead person laying under the bed?' 'But when I leaned over to check, I saw a pair of eyes staring at me. I saw an Asian man under my bed.' Natali said she started to scream and jumped to her feet as the man climbed out from under the bed. He then stared at her for three long seconds, and she added: 'Those seconds felt like my life is over.' Speaking to The Guardian, she described him as 'east Asian, between 20 and 30, slightly overweight, a bowl haircut and black clothes.' She said: 'I began to hyperventilate and froze on the spot, unsure whether he was about to jump on me, choke me or even try to kill me.' Hotel slammed for using endangered red pandas to wake up guests by letting cuddly critters crawl into their beds The man then started the scream and ran out of her room. Natali said she immediately called the hotel administration and the police, and they found a power bank and USB cable under her bed. She kept asking the hotel how the scary situation had happened, but they didn't have any answers for her. Natali continued: 'Even more, they suggested upfront that police won't find the intruder because they had no cameras.' As she was understandably feeling scared and unsafe, she moved to another hotel and demanded a full refund the following day. 3 She claims that the police have been unable to identify the man Credit: TikTok / @natalisi_ However, she claims the hotel didn't contact her or send an email with the incident report. She then reached out to Agoda, who she had booked the hotel through, and they offered her $178 (£133) in coupons, which she felt was 'ridiculous', given she had paid $600 (£450) for three nights. After contacting the hotel directly once more, they finally agreed to refund the payment, but said the police hadn't been able to identify the man. She continued: 'The next days of my trip were a nightmare. I couldn't sleep. I was constantly on edge, checking every corner of my room.' EMOTIONAL COMPENSATION Natali eventually wrote to the hotel demanding 'compensation for emotional damage', and asked for $1,600 (£1,200). However, she claims they declined giving her the money as it 'wasn't in their policy.' Now, she's been left wondering how someone could get into her room and that they knew she was alone there. She added to the Guardian: 'I eventually returned to my home in Thailand struggling with anxiety and PTSD. 'I have found it difficult to stay informed about what's happening with my case, and worry that nothing will come of it. But I haven't given up – I'm exploring options so that it can be properly investigated. "Sadly, though, I've also had men write to me, claiming it's my fault or that I just want to denigrate Japan. 'I used to think I was invincible, and that there was more good in this world than bad. Now I'm not so sure.'

French prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into what they believe is a case of 'intentional homicide' GRISLY FIND Horror as disembowelled body of man with throat slit found on sports ground in France laid out 'in the sign of a cross' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MUTILATED body of a man with his throat slit has been found on a sports ground in France. French authorities found several stab wounds on the neck and back. They believe that the man did not live in the commune of Pont-de-Metz but is originally from the region. He is said to have had a habit of going for walks around the park in the evenings. French prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into what they believe is a case of "intentional homicide", according to Le Parisien. The park has been described as "peaceful" - surrounded by a few houses, tennis courts and a river. Around 20 police officers today were tasked with combing the surroundings to find more clues and "broader findings," a police source said. The area was previously cordoned off, but restrictions have now been lifted, it is understood. It comes after a Brit woman was found dead in France - lying in a pool of blood at her home. Cops said the victim, understood to be 65 years old, suffered "deep injuries caused by a sharp object". Murdered Brit mum's 'female friend' arrested as cops probe 'frenzied attack' The victim's body was found at her home in the village of Tremolat in the Dordogne, state prosecutor Sylvie Martins Guedes said. The mum-of-four is said to have suffered multiple wounds to her chest, groin, arm, and leg. Guedes added: "The injuries showed particular violence, and their location demonstrated a desire to kill." Meanwhile, a Brit tourist was killed in France after she was run down while jogging with her husband. The unnamed 35-year-old woman was running on Avenue Charles-de-Gaulle in Beaune, when a car tragically hit her. Emergency services scrambled to the scene but found the woman dead. The driver, a 45-year-old local, was taken into custody by cops who are investigating the tragedy. The British woman's husband, who was running with her, was reportedly in shock but physically unharmed. In January, a female Brit tragically died in a horror accidental ski crash in France with another UK tourist while on a difficult black slope. The 62-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene after she reportedly lost control of her skies and crashed into the fellow Brit at the Les Arcs resort. The unnamed woman is said to have crashed head-on into a 35-year-old man on the black slope of the Aiguille Rouge run, according to French news outlet Le Dauphine.

Raheem Sterling leads list of NINE Chelsea players banished from Blues' website as full 47-man squad revealed

The former England international, 30, and eight other stars do not even have a profile or photo in the first-team section of the Blues' official website. The Blues have been on another big spending spree this summer, with £60million Joao Pedro among a number of signings that have swollen the current first-team squad to an incredible 47 players. Stamford Bridge chiefs are close to selling striker Armando Broja and midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu - two of the players who do not appear on the website - to Burnley. But in addition to Academy graduates Broja and Alfie Gilchrist, there are seven players including Ugochukwu who cost Chelsea a combined total of more than £200m who have no profile on the website - despite still officially being at the club. Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who is facing a ban for failings a drugs test, DOES still have a profile pic - albeit wearing last season's kit. Add in the six players already sent out on loan, and the Blues have a huge number of players - and agents - to juggle. And that's before they make further signings, with both RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons and Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho still in their sights. Likewise midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu, a £23.5m signing from Strasbourg in 2023, is into his third week working at Cobham after coming back from a season-long stay at Southampton. Of the Chelsea players who went out on loan last season, Renato Veiga probably did the most to enhance his value, during a six-month spell at Juventus. But the Portugal international, whose proposed big money move to Atletico Madrid appears to have collapsed, did not do enough to earn a spot on the Blues' website.
