In his blog on Tumblr, the legendary actor even shared a special message that read, 'When your children are about and by your side , the World can be conquered .. When your technology is not by your side , your entire World can be destroyed ..Thank you Mr Technology - you just destroyed my dependence on you (sic).'
IndiaToday.in's review of the film reads, 'The film leaves some inconsistencies unexplained. For example, while Kaalidhar is introduced as someone suffering from serious mental illness with memory loss and hallucinations, this aspect is forgotten quite conveniently as the film progresses. He suddenly is all fine and even starts to earn a living for himself and Ballu, without much explanation about his recovery. It reminds us that life can surprise us with joy, even in tough times. And shows how friendship can cross age barriers, healing our pained hearts.''Kaalidhar Laapata', directed by Madhumita and led by Abhishek Bachchan, is the Hindi remake of her own Tamil film, 'KD A Karuppu Durai'. It is currently streaming on Zee5.- EndsMust Watch

Anurag Basu 's new film 'Metro... In Dino' has hit the big screen with a host of popular stars. The cast includes Sara Ali Khan , Aditya Roy Kapur , Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher , Konkona Sen Sharma , Pankaj Tripathi , Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Released on 4 July, this musical drama looks at love and relationships in today's busy cities. The film's music is by Pritam, who has once again added magic with his songs. 'Metro... In Dino' is a spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu's 2007 film 'Life... In A Metro'. Konkona Sen Sharma is the only actor from the original film to return for this story. This time, the film follows four new couples as they face ups and downs in love. Steady start at the box office As per Sacnilk, 'Metro... In Dino' had a decent first weekend. The film collected Rs 3.5 crore on Friday, its opening day. It saw a big jump on Saturday with earnings of Rs 6 crore, which means a rise of 71.43% from the day before. On Sunday, it made Rs 7.25 crore, bringing its total to Rs 16.75 crore. On Sunday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 39.75%. Morning shows had about 15.98% audience, afternoons rose to 46.62%, evenings were the highest at 57.14%, and night shows had 39.27%. Box Office Collection Day 1 (Friday): Rs 3.5 crore Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 6 crore Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 7.25 crore Total: Rs 16.75 crore ETimes review for the film reads, "Despite being largely pleasant, some tracks don't quite add up, feel uneven and don't know where to end. After an engaging build up, the second half feels a tad stretched. You also wish the story scratched the surface a little more, especially for Konkona-Neena Gupta track, where the actors have the potential and gravitas to dig deeper. There has been a scarcity of love stories in Bollywood and Metro In Dino, elevated by some fine performances, fills that gap perfectly. It is a breezy, intimate watch tailor-made for a rainy day."
