Littler celebrates with the trophy and his girlfriend Faith Millar
Littler, 18, had to recover from another slow start at 5-0 down to reel in The Machine to win the £200,000 jackpot.
The Nuke becomes only the fifth player to achieve the coveted triple of World Championship, Premier League and Matchplay.
Only Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries have achieved it before with The Nuke now the youngest.
Littler also shattered more records with 64 180s, the most ever in the tournament, breaking Adrian Lewis' previous total of 56.

'James began to drop off a bit and I started to find my best darts.
'The past week has really shown me as a player. I can come back from 5-0 and 7-3 down.
'Last year I lost in the first round, people might think I'd do the same again.
'Since I won my tour card I said to myself, as long as I win one of every major, I'll be happy. I've only got a few left to tick off.'
Wade came roaring out the blocks to lead 5-0 before the first break. But it was short-lived as Littler turned the tables to real off five legs to level it up.
Wade started tactics to try and slow the game down but Littler led 8-7 at the third break.
Yet again both players seemed to be affected by a whistler in the crowd.
Despite the disruptions, Littler continued to take control and gained some breathing space to lead 14-11 and averaging a whopping 106.
Plucky Wade rallied to trail by just one at 15-14 but Littler soon wrapped it up.

Premier League boss comes clean on Viktor Gyokeres transfer talks and calls out 'lies'
Arsenal completed the signing of Viktor Gyokeres to end a long-running transfer saga, but a new Premier League manager has revealed his side also held talks over a move for the striker Fulham boss Marco Silva has rejected the idea that new Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres was previously overlooked by Premier League clubs. The Portuguese coach has revealed that his side spoke to Gyokeres' agent about a move to Craven Cottage a year before the Swedish striker joined Sporting CP. Arsenal sealed a £63.7million deal to sign Gyokeres from Sporting after his prolific two years in Lisbon. The 27-year-old scored 97 goals in 102 games and Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, who described his new striker as outstanding, will hope Gyokeres can help end the club's prolonged wait for a Premier League title. Gyokeres' journey has not been straightforward. He was loaned out several times by Brighton before flourishing at Coventry City. However, Fulham manager Silva has insisted that several Premier League clubs were aware of Gyokeres' star quality in the Championship before he became one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe. 'That story that nobody had noticed Gyokeres, that's nonsense. The top clubs in England hadn't noticed him, that's obvious,' Silva told Canal 11, as reported by Portuguese outlet A Bola. 'It's not easy for a player to go from Coventry to a top club in England, and at that time, he wasn't ready for that move. 'Now, as for mid-table clubs in England, all of them had noticed him. There were some offers to buy Gyokeres, at least during those two years when he stood out a bit more. 'I actually spoke with Gyokeres' agent, or rather the club spoke with his agent, but at the time we also had a world-class striker in [Aleksandar] Mitrovic and he wasn't so easy to replace. But of course we noticed him, not just because of the goals he scored, but it was clear that with space... he was a player with tremendous power, there's no doubt.' Fulham faced Gyokeres during their promotion-winning 2021/22 season. Coventry were the only side to defeat Silva's team twice, with the striker scoring three goals across the two games and leaving a lasting impression on Silva. 'A player who already had good finishing ability, which, in my opinion, he has greatly improved since then,' Silva continued. 'Now he's a player who – even considering how Coventry played at that time – with space and against teams who pushed higher up and left space behind, between centre-back and full-back, that way he likes to attack space as well – he was naturally a player who made a big difference. 'In that season, when he played against Fulham, we usually had 60 to 70% possession, and it was an ideal game for him to play against us.' Silva expects his Fulham side to face a different Gyokeres in an Arsenal shirt. He discussed how the Sweden international will strengthen the Gunners' existing gameplan and give the team an extra dimension in attack. 'I think he'll fit into a phase of play that Arsenal also have,' Silva said. 'Regardless of being a big club, but perhaps among all title-chasing teams, they are maybe the team with the most consolidated and solid defensive phase. And they're a team that, when out of possession and sitting deeper, aren't too worried about it. 'They're very strong in their initial pressing phase, but once that doesn't work out, they have no problem dropping back clearly with two lines of four and their attacking midfielder and striker joining up well. And at that moment, there is lots of space to exploit; this will be a moment where Gyokeres will fit very well.' However, Silva did outline some new challenges that Gyokeres may encounter while leading the line for the Gunners. 'When it comes to positional attack, where Arsenal are clearly higher up the pitch, we'll see how well he adapts to that moment of the game, but since Arsenal have that quality and ability that you don't see so much at other clubs, he'll adapt very well in that respect,' Silva explained. 'I think it will have an impact. Now, whether it will have the same impact he had in Portugal, we'll have to analyse very carefully and see if it happens.'

Wrexham told to snub Christian Eriksen for ex-England stars as phone call comes to light
Wrexham have been urged to target free agents Jamie Vardy or Callum Wilson to strengthen their Championship squad after making an approach for former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen Wrexham have been told to prioritise the pursuit of two former England stars over Christian Eriksen. It was revealed last week that the Welsh side had made a sensational approach for the Danish midfielder following his departure from Manchester United. The 33-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving the Premier League giants in May. Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots told the Daily Mail that Wrexham – owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney – was a "hugely impressive project". However, the ex- Tottenham and Ajax player rejected the newly-promoted Championship outfit's advances. It came after Eriksen was said to have expressed his eagerness to remain at the top level for as long as possible. Former Blackburn striker Matt Jansen has now encouraged the Red Dragons to chase either Leicester legend Jamie Vardy or ex- Newcastle forward Callum Wilson instead. Jansen, who also had a short spell at Wrexham towards the end of his career, said the duo would be better options for his old club as manager Phil Parkinson looks to bolster his squad. Speaking to OLBG, he said: "I think all the way through the spine of the team, they need to strengthen. Then it's a case of having a good run. If they have that, with confidence and belief, it would push them to the top of the table. "I would say they have a good four or five players to get, top class players, proven goalscorers, to get to the top level of the Championship. "Most importantly for them is a goalscorer and you'd be looking at the likes of a Jamie Vardy or a Callum Wilson, free agents at the moment. I think they would both be a better signing than Eriksen." Parkinson has admitted this week that Wrexham did try and sign Eriksen early in the summer transfer window. But he said the talks did not extend further than an initial conversation. "There was a call, a bit of dialogue over the summer, but it's not gone any further than that," Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales on Monday. "But obviously he's a majorly talented player and very well respected throughout football." Wrexham have made six new signings so far this summer, including striker Ryan Hardie, goalkeeper Danny Ward, defender Liberato Cacace, midfielders George Thomason and Lewis O'Brien and forward Josh Windass. The club is preparing for its first season in the second tier in 43 years and Parkinson said he was aiming to make further additions before their opening game at Southampton on August 9. He added: "We've been linked with so many players and if we'd been speaking to every player we've been linked with, I don't think we'd have had an hour to sleep over the last month. Some are true, some aren't. "But we're just going about our business and trying to get a squad which can represent the club in this division this season."
