The North London club's £35million bill last season on unplayable squad members was the highest in the Premier League.

Footy Accumulators compiled the top ten by looking at players' salaries and totting up all their injuries and their duration
Those on the injury list at various points in 2024-25 included Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Declan Rice and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Betting website Footy Accumulators compiled a top ten by looking at players' salaries and totting up all their injuries and their duration.
They used Transfermarkt to assess injuries, and Capology to figure out the wages.
Manchester City had the second highest bill, at £33million, followed by local rivals United on £25million.
Last season's Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur paid out £18million, Chelsea £17million, Brighton £14million and Newcastle £13million.
Premier League champions Liverpool paid £12million to injured players, Aston Villa had a £10million bill and Everton gave their crocked stars £9million.
Arsenal fan Craig Burke, 43, said: 'We've won nothing since 2020, and to make it even worse, Spurs won a trophy — that really sticks in the craw.
'To cap it all, we've paid £35million to players for sitting about doing nothing so I'm hoping they'll be fresh as daisies for the new season.'
Footy Accumulators' spokesman said: 'Our research has revealed the staggering sums Premier League clubs have paid to players who have been sidelined in the past year.'

Great Britain's Norrie came through an entertaining second-round match against America's Tiafoe, winning 4-6 6-4 6-3 7-5 in just under three hours. World number 12 Tiafoe started strongly but lost his way in the second and third sets and requested a toilet break after falling behind. But it took a while for Tiafoe to make his way off court, with the 27-year-old searching for a fresh shirt and trainers in his bag before being ushered off Court One by an official. Players are permitted two bathroom breaks in best-of-five matches at Grand Slams and rules state they are allowed three minutes, and an extra two if they need to change clothes. There was almost eight minutes between the end of the third set and the start of the fourth and BBC commentators Andrew Castle and John Lloyd criticised Tiafoe for abusing the rule. 'It looks like he's going to go off the court but he's taking a long time making his mind up,' former Australian Open finalist Lloyd said. 'We've seen it before with players going off when they're trailing and they play completely different afterwards. Maybe that's what he needed but I don't agree with this at all, I think it's wrong.' ATP bathroom break rules Rules allow players to have one bathroom break in best-of-three matches and two in best-of-five matches at Grand Slams. In best-of-five matches, one break may be taken during the first three sets and the second can only be taken after the end of the third set. The breaks are only permitted at the end of a set and if players spend too long off court they will be liable to time violations. They are allowed three minutes for the toilet break and an extra two minutes if they need to change clothes, which they often do in hot conditions. As Norrie continued to wait for Tiafoe to return to the court, Lloyd added: 'This is ridiculous, I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. 'The momentum of the game is gone. We had the French Open final go on for over five hours and there wasn't one bathroom break. 'Let's put it this way, he wouldn't have taken that long if he was ahead.' 'It's so special playing here. You forget so quickly. You just feel goose bumps. It's such a special court and such a special tournament. 'I just walked out and smiled as much as I could. Cristhian Mosquera submits Arsenal transfer request after Valencia offer
Cristhian Mosquera has rejected Valencia's improved contract offer and has told the club he wants to join Arsenal this summer, according to reports in Spain. Arsenal submitted a €14 million (£12.1m) bid for the 21-year-old last week but their offer was rejected. Valencia have offered Mosquera a new contract until 2028 with a progressive salary increase, however, Las Provincas report that the centre-back has responded by telling the Spanish club that he wants to make the move to Arsenal. Mosquera has a year remaining on his contract with Valencia and the club are holding out for a deal worth closer to €20m (£17.3m). It's understood that Mosquera was initially keen on extending his contract with Valencia but their delay in offering him a new deal allowed Arsenal to convince him to join Mikel Arteta's side. Former Arsenal defender William Gallas cannot get his head round why the Gunners are signing Christian Norgaard and have let Thomas Partey leave. The Brentford captain is yet to complete his move to the Emirates, but it is expected that the Denmark international will do so in the near future. A fee of £10m has reportedly been agreed and the 31-year-old is set to move across London, swapping the Bees for the Gunners. It comes as Thomas Partey leaves Arsenal this summer at the end of his contract, with the Ghana departing after making 167 appearances for the club. Partey was a regular in the first team last season, making 52 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals. Gallas is confused as to why his former club would let the Ghanaian leave on a free and pay to bring in the Dane. That may well have made his wages seem too expensive and encouraged the player to find more starting opportunities elsewhere. 'I just don't understand why Arsenal are signing Christian Norgaard and are letting Thomas Partey go,' Gallas told Prime Casino. 'Okay, Partey is 32 and Norgaard is 31, but why spend the money on a player when you already have someone like Partey in the club? 'With Zubimendi arriving, Partey would likely have been his back-up, and perhaps he wanted to play more or perhaps Arsenal didn't think he was worth the contract that they wanted, but for me, it doesn't make sense to then let him leave and spend £10m on a replacement that is a year younger. 'I think it would have made more sense to keep Partey or sign a youngster, not go like for like with a new player that will have no sell-on value.' In reality, Norgaard isn't really coming in as a replacement for Partey, but more to replace Jorginho, who has left for Flamengo. The Dane is unlikely to start too many matches, unless there are injury problems, with Zubimendi coming in to replace Partey and partner Declan Rice in central midfield.
