Qassam Brigades announce series of attacks on 'Israeli' forces in southern Gaza
In a statement, the brigades said that on Thursday, fighters struck three 'Israeli' D9 military bulldozers using Yassin-105 rockets, Shawaz explosive devices, and barrel bombs, claiming direct hits on the targeted vehicles.
The group added that on Wednesday, its fighters detonated three powerful explosive devices on two similar bulldozers in the same area, causing significant damage.
In what the group described as a 'carefully planned ambush,' Al-Qassam said its fighters lured an 'Israeli' force into a booby-trapped tunnel near Qizan an-Najjar. Once several soldiers entered the tunnel, it was detonated with multiple explosive charges, resulting in casualties among the 'Israeli' troops.

Hamas vows 'relentless, around-the-clock efforts' for ceasefire in Gaza
Dr. Kamal Abu Aoun, a member of Hamas's political bureau, affirmed that the movement's leadership continues its 'relentless and around-the-clock efforts with various parties' to reach a comprehensive agreement aimed at ending the aggression against Gaza. He emphasized Hamas's 'positive openness to initiatives and proposals that are put forward by mediators.' Highlighting the role of Palestinians in Gaza, Abu Aoun stated, 'Our people in Gaza played a pivotal role in thwarting Zionist attempts to impose a suspicious administration that does not represent their interests and values.' He warned that 'all of the occupation's security projects in Gaza are doomed to fail and will face revolutionary accountability.' Abu Aoun also addressed the broader regional implications, noting that 'Arab and Islamic countries are not immune from the dangers of the Zionist project,' and urged these nations to understand that 'the battle is not solely Palestine's, but concerns the national security and strategic interests of the entire nation.' He stressed that 'Palestine remains the first line of defense for these interests.' On the subject of normalization with 'Israel', the Hamas official was clear, 'Normalization with the occupation does not bring prosperity, but deepens dependency and entrenches dominance.' He added that 'any normalization path following this brutal war on Gaza is a betrayal of Jerusalem and a shirking of the historic responsibility towards the Palestinian cause.' Abu Aoun praised Turkey's role, saying, 'Turkey has been and remains a fundamental supporter of the Palestinian people, and plays an important role in backing the political stance of the resistance.' He expressed hope that 'the mediators' efforts will soon result in a ceasefire and the beginning of reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.'

VIDEO: UK Parliament passes order labeling Palestine Action as terrorist group
British Members of Parliament voted overwhelmingly on Wednesday to designate Palestine Action a terrorist organization. The amendment to the Terrorism Act 2000 passed with 385 votes in favor and 26 against. It includes the proscription of three groups: Palestine Action, the neo-Nazi Maniacs Murder Cult, and the Russia Imperial Movement. The measure now heads to the House of Lords for approval on Thursday. If passed, it will become law at midnight on July 9. Once enacted, it will be a criminal offence, punishable by up to 14 years in prison, to be a member of, or offer support to, any of the three organizations, unless legal appeals by the groups are successful. While the government has argued the ban is based on national security assessments, several Labour MPs voiced strong opposition, particularly to the inclusion of Palestine Action in the same category as the other two groups. They warned the move 'threatens basic freedoms and sets a dangerous precedent for political dissent,' arguing that Palestine Action, known for its direct action protests against companies linked to the 'Israeli' military, should be viewed as a campaign group rather than a terrorist threat. Some MPs acknowledged the group's history of criminal damage but insisted that its actions did not warrant classification as terrorism. They also criticized the decision to bundle all three organizations into a single vote, which prevented Parliament from considering each on its own merits.

Netanyahu's son buys UK apartment under different name
Avner Netanyahu, son of 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, purchased a 502,500 pound (approximately USD 680,000) apartment in Oxford, UK, in October 2022 using a different legal name, according to a report by the 'Israeli' business newspaper Calcalist published Wednesday. The purchase came during a period of economic instability in the UK, shortly after then-Prime Minister Liz Truss unveiled a controversial mini-budget that caused the British pound to plummet. Avner Netanyahu reportedly paid just under 2 million shekels (USD 593,170), narrowly avoiding the 'Israeli' tax authority's threshold for reporting foreign assets, which is set at 2 million shekels. Calcalist revealed that had the purchase been made just 10 days earlier or later, the value of the apartment would have surpassed the reporting threshold, requiring disclosure to 'Israeli' tax officials. The property was bought under the name Avi Avner Segal, a legal alias Avner adopted using his paternal grandmother's maiden name, the report said. The acquisition was reportedly made in cash, without the need for a mortgage. Avner Netanyahu defended both the alias and the purchase, telling Calcalist that the name change was legally registered with 'Israel's' interior ministry. "I changed my name on my ID card at the Israeli interior ministry, and then changed my passport and driver's licence. It's a package deal," he said. "We reported everything that was necessary to the tax authorities in Israel and Britain. All of my conduct was legal, both here and there." Currently working at Strategy&, a strategic consulting firm within PwC, Avner explained that the name change was motivated by security concerns. At the time of the purchase, his father was the opposition leader, and his request for Shin Bet protection while studying abroad had been denied. "I didn't have security at the time," he said. "I knew that if I walked around with that name, in another country with Muslims, I would get stabbed by the first person who heard it at a train station." As of 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's annual salary is reported to be at least USD 150,000. The purchase and use of an alias have raised questions about legal thresholds and transparency but remain within the bounds of the law according to Avner Netanyahu's statements.
