22 Kids and Counting star shares emotional update as family faces major milestone
22 Kids and Counting took an emotional turn as three family members prepare to take a big step and move out of their family home with one looking to start a new life half way across the world.
The Radford family shot to fame on their Channel 5 hit reality show as they give viewers a rare insight into their busy life as a family of 24.
During tonight's episode (3rd August), Noal took matters into his own hands and attempted to give son Daniel the final push to flee the nest.
The 26-year-old previously revealed plans to move to Australia after securing a job there, but he needed to overcome his fear of driving, which stemmed from a car accident two years prior.
Leaving home is a big change for any young person and even more so for Daniel, who seems to have changed his mind about leaving his 21 siblings behind and making the big move.
But dad Noel is keen on him getting his independence and has offered to buy him a first class ticket- with the catch that it is one-way.
Daniel expressed his desire to emigrate overseas and despite the tempting offer from his dad it doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.
He said: 'I'd definitely like to move out at some point.' Noel has started to lose hope as he said: 'It won't happen. So far, he's decided to go, changed his mind. He bought a ticket and then changed his mind again.'
Sue admitted: 'An empty nest is something I'm definitely not something I'm looking forward to.' Noel appears to be on a different page as he jumped in and said: 'I'll be opening the door to let them out and you'll be there trying to shut the door to keep them back.'
Including Katie, just five have left home and with Daniel the next to potentially leave, he's not the only one looking to go as his two other siblings also announced that they are moving out.
Noel went on to say: 'The kids are still at home, all the old ones because it's easy. The cooking is done, the cleaning is done, the washing is done. It's 24 hour care.'
However mum Sue does agree as she said: 'I do feel like they are still here because they just genuinely do love having all their siblings around and having a big family.'
While having a family BBQ in the garden, Chloe admitted that it's not easy to leave the family as she said: "I missed home when I was in Plymouth, I guess there are a lot of people to miss.'
Meanwhile Sophie said: 'It took me, I would say a good year to start getting used to it.' Noel jumped in: 'You pretty much came home everyday to see mum.'
Sophie replied: 'Yeah, I was really homesick. I was texting dad every day 'right, pick me up, I want to come home''.
She continued: 'Joe would text me like 'what are you doing after?' and I'd be like 'oh, I've just come home for a bit' and he'd say 'that's not your home anymore'."
In an emotional moment, Sue was fighting back tears as she explained: 'I do love having them here. An empty nest is definitely not something that I'm looking forward to.'

Jamie Lee Curtis sobs over Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's 'intimate' relationship
Jamie Lee Curtis has praised Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson's 'intimate' relationship and told people to 'leave them the f*** alone' if they have found love with each other Jamie Lee Curtis has emotionally commended the budding romance between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson. The stars of The Naked Gun have sparked rumours of a love connection since meeting on set, and the Freakier Friday actress has urged the public to cease gossiping about the duo and instead rejoice if they've indeed found love together. In an emotional TikTok video shared by VT, she expressed: "With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found [its] way into that relationship - God bless them both - leave them the f*** alone. Let them like each other. "Both of them have had hardship, and they're both beautiful human beings - makes me cry." Curtis couldn't hold back tears as she continued: "If they actually have found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better." It comes after the pair were spotted getting very touchy-feely in a flirty interview with Andy Cohen earlier this week. The Last Showgirl actress believes that her co-star and Liam - who tragically lost his wife Natasha Richardson in a skiing accident in 2009 - are both deserving of joy. She remarked: "She's a beautiful person. She was fantastic [in the movie], but she's a beautiful human being. "He also suffered an unimaginable loss so young, and has had a really hard go of it. So if, in fact, these people have hard launched, then wish them the best and leave them alone." Her heartfelt words follow after Liam's son Daniel also gave a nod to his father's new partnership. Daniel, 28, showed his support while attending the audience during the couple's appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live' over the past weekend. Host Andy Cohen expressed his support for the couple, saying: "The question that I'm not asking the two of you tonight is what's going on between the two of you, but I do just want to say, as a very old friend of [Liam's], all of your friends are very much stanning this relationship, as the kids say." As Liam affectionately placed his hand on Pamela's shoulder and she warmly squeezed it, Andy turned to Daniel in the audience and asked: "Right Danny?". To which Daniel simply responded: "Yes." On Friday, August 1, Pamela took to Instagram to post a series of snaps with Liam, celebrating the release of 'The Naked Gun' with the caption: "The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers... whoever... just go and have a laugh... it's good for you!"I'll see you there [white heart and popcorn emojis] (sic)". Daniel showed his approval by commenting with a mix of emojis including raised hands, flames, and white hearts. Joely Richardson, Natasha's sister, also left a comment filled with red heart emojis under the post. Liam, father to Micheal, 30, and Daniel with his late wife, has openly declared his deep affection for Pamela, praising her in an interview with People magazine. He professed: "With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with."
