SJC launches e-payment services for judicial fees

The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) has announced the launch of the first package of electronic payment services in partnership with Qatar National Bank (QNB) through an integrated electronic payment gateway aimed at facilitating judicial procedures and enabling parties to pay deposits and judicial fees in a safe, fast, and easy digital manner.
By launching the first phase of the Court Secretariat Development Project, the Council aims to provide payment channels that support a number of card types and modern payment features for a number of services, most notably Apple Pay, the most widely used by individuals, in addition to supporting all card types such as Mastercard, Visa, and Himyan cards, among other diverse payment services.
This will enable users to pay court fees, execution requests, and deposits through the Courts Portal and the Courts app, as well as through the mobile app, ATMs, and QNB's e-portal, which will be launched in the phase following the initial launch via the Courts Portal.
Electronic payment services allow individuals to pay for themselves or for another party using Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX cards, in addition to local NAPS cards, and Himyan cards, and payment services via Apple Pay.
The new system also offers smart payment options, such as partial payments in specific cases, and payment via SMS links. It also sends notifications to users upon completion of financial transactions, and provides financial reports to the relevant management.
The Supreme Judicial Council affirms that the launch of the first package of e-payment services represents a qualitative step towards achieving prompt justice through digital means and facilitating litigation services.
This is in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to develop digital infrastructure, enhance the efficiency of government services, and facilitate the implementation of judicial rulings with minimal time and effort. Providing diverse payment channels and multiple ways to access them without the need to visit the court is considered a top priority for developing court secretariat and judicial fees systems.
It is worth noting that since the implementation of the Enforcement Law in November 2024, the Enforcement Court has witnessed the launch of a large package of electronic services for the Enforcement Court, in accordance with the legal amendments to the procedures for enforcing judgments, and their provision through the Courts Portal and the Courts App. This year witnessed the launch of advanced electronic services for all new enforcement procedures. The Court witnessed a significant improvement in the progress of enforcement operations and contributed significantly to their enhancement.

Ooredoo engages students at CyberSecurity Youth Summer Camp 2025
Tribune News Network Doha Ooredoo, Qatar's leading telecommunications provider, has supported 200 students aged 13 to 17 years from public and private schools across the country, as part of its participation in the 2025 Cyber Security Youth Summer Camp.
