Meghan Markle Delivers California Cool Vibes in Her White Halter Dress on Easter Sunday

Yahoo21-04-2025
Meghan Markle, once again, brought her fashion A-game to another memorable occasion — this time on Easter Sunday.
'Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!' Meghan, 43, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, April 20, sharing footage of herself marveling over a family of ducks in her backyard.
In the video, Meghan made a stylish statement in her white halter dress that delivered an effortlessly chic flair of California cool vibes. The frock featured a flared skirt and a belt tied around the Duchess of Sussex's waist, as well as black buttons that popped against the crisp white fabric.
Meghan completed her ensemble with gold jewelry and a pair of neutral-colored ballet flats. For glam, she opted for a dewy, minimal look with her signature long locks fastened into a sleek chignon.
Sharing the holiday video on her Instagram Stories, Meghan wrote, 'An Easter weekend surprise! 💕.'
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, live in Montecito, California, with their two children: 5-year-old son Prince Archie and 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet. The Sussexes have been California-based ever since they stepped down from their duties as senior working royals in 2020.

Across the pond, Harry's father, King Charles III, and wife Queen Camilla attended an Easter Mattins service on Sunday at St George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle. They were joined by Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and their respective families. Charles' eldest son, Prince William, however, opted to skip the service along with wife Princess Kate Middleton and their three children.
News broke earlier this week that William, 42, and Kate, 43, were seeking to have more family time before their little ones returned to school before spring break. The Prince and Princess of Wales previously missed the Windsor church service in 2024 when Kate was battling an undisclosed form of cancer. She is now in remission.

Harrison Ford 'Apologized Right Away' for Accidentally Punching Ryan Gosling in Face: 'He's Still Very Handsome'

The actor said he "apologized right away" to his 'Blade Runner 2049' costar: "What more could I do? Can't take back a punch"NEED TO KNOW Harrison Ford recalled how he accidentally punched costar Ryan Gosling during the making of 2017's Blade Runner 2049 The actor said he "apologized right away" to Gosling: "What more could I do? Can't take back a punch" Gosling previously joked about taking the punch, saying "a Harrison Ford punch is a different animal altogether"Harrison Ford is still sorry about accidentally punching Ryan Gosling in the face. The actors shared the screen in 2017's Blade Runner 2049, the long-awaited sequel to Ford's 1982 sci-fi classic. During a new wide-ranging interview with Variety, Ford, 83, joked about the time he mistakenly landed a jab at Gosling, 44, while filming a scene, an incident they've both discussed in the past. "[We were rehearsing a fight] and we got too close and I hit him," said Ford. "I apologized right away. What more could I do? Can't take back a punch. Just take it." The Shrinking Emmy nominee joked of the Barbie star, "He's a very handsome man. He's still very handsome." In December 2016, Gosling said being punched by Ford was somewhat of a "rite of passage," explaining to GQ that Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve told him right after the hit: "Look at it this way — you just got hit by Indiana Jones!" "We were just doing a fight scene and, you know, it just happened," Gosling told the outlet at the time. "But what was funny was, when it was over, they brought ice for my face, and Harrison pushed me out of the way and stuck his fist in the ice." Gosling added, "He came by afterward with this bottle of scotch, and I thought, 'Oh, I knew this was coming.' And he pulled out a glass from his pocket, poured me a glass, and walked away with the rest of the bottle. So I guess he felt like he didn't connect enough to earn a whole bottle." The costars laughed about the punch while promoting Blade Runner 2049 on The Graham Norton Show. The host said, "You weren't meant to punch him," and Ford quipped, "Oh, I misread the script." He further added of the moment, "One out of a hundred times I hit him," to which Gosling joked, "Right, right. I should be lucky I didn't get hit more, is the theme of this narrative." "It's not just a punch, though. I mean, a Harrison Ford punch is a different animal altogether," said Gosling. In the July 2025 Variety interview, Ford said he "enjoyed the experience of making" Blade Runner 2049 "even more than I did the first one" mostly because "it wasn't raining and it wasn't night all the time," like on the first, directed by Ridley Scott. Of the original, he recalled, "That was an extraordinary experience. We shot for 50 nights in rain — most times, we were outside. It was sort of miserable to make, but it holds its own." Jimmy Kimmel Stands Up for Stephen Colbert with an Emmys Billboard Ad

"I'm voting Stephen," the billboard read in reference to the ongoing Emmy votingNEED TO KNOW Jimmy Kimmel is sticking up for Stephen Colbert amid Paramount/CBS' decision to cancel The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, and more have previously come to Colbert's defense The network is facing allegations of political censorship due to Colbert's criticisms of President Trump's administrationJimmy Kimmel is standing up for Stephen Colbert amid the cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Kimmel, 57, appeared on a billboard ad in Los Angeles encouraging Emmy voters to vote for Colbert, 61. The billboard features a headshot of Kimmel beside an announcement of his own Emmy nomination for Outstanding Talk Series. In large white text below, the billboard read, "I'm voting Stephen." Variety was first to report the news. The billboard comes amid Paramount's decision to cancel Colbert after 10 seasons. In a statement from CBS previously shared with PEOPLE, the network said, "This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount." Colbert took over the show in September 2015 following David Letterman's departure. The cancellation came days after Colbert openly criticized the network's parent company for its sizable settlement with President Donald Trump. Following the network's announcement to cancel the popular program on July 17, several late-night hosts have shown solidarity for Colbert, including Kimmel and Jon Stewart, who hosts The Daily Show. Immediately following the cancellation news, Kimmel shared a clip of Colbert from the July 17 broadcast. "Love you Stephen," Kimmel wrote. He also called out the network behind the decision. "F--- you and all your Sheldons CBS," Kimmel added. In a fiery statement on July 22, Stewart, 62, said, 'If you're trying to figure out why Stephen's show is ending, I don't think the answer can be found in some smoking gun email or phone call from Trump to CBS executives or in CBS' QuickBooks spreadsheets on the financial health of late night." He continued, "I think the answer is in the fear and pre-compliance that is gripping all of America's institutions at this very moment, institutions that have chosen not to fight the vengeful and vindictive actions of our pubic hair doodling Commander in Chief. This is not the moment to give in." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Seth Meyers weighed in too. 'For as great a comedian and host he is, Stephen Colbert is an even better person,' he wrote in a post on his Instagram Stories. 'I'm going to miss having him on TV every night but I'm excited he can no longer use the excuse that he's 'too busy to hang out' with me.' Members of the Television Academy have until Aug. 27 to cast their votes. Read the original article on People
