Scarlett Johansson would've done Jurassic World even if she died in first 5 minutes

Scarlett Johansson has battled AI supervillains, taken on covert missions, and even voiced a sentient operating system. But there was one cinematic universe she had longed to be part of since childhood - the Jurassic franchise, she revealed in promotional interviews. Her dream became true as she played the lead in 'Jurassic World: Rebirth', which hit theatres worldwide on July 4 in India.advertisementIn a candid revelation, the BAFTA-winning actor and star of 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' opened up about how personal her new role is. 'It's been a dream of mine to be in the Jurassic family since forever,' Johansson shared, adding, 'One of my first memories of going to the theatre was going to see 'Jurassic Park'. For the last 15 years, I have been following every Jurassic movement, and each time I heard they were making a film, I reached out to say I was available, but nothing worked out.'But when 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' was in early talks, Johansson decided to take matters into her own hands. She picked up the phone and called none other than Steven Spielberg himself. 'I asked if he would like to sit down just to meet in general. But, of course, with the hope being that he would mention Jurassic or I could sort of slip it in," she added.
What followed was a heartfelt conversation. 'We talked for hours and somewhere in the middle of it I said, 'Steven, I want to be in this film so bad. Even if it's just to play someone who dies in the first five minutes, I'd do it! It's my childhood dream! Let me do this! I will crush this for you.''And that's how Scarlett landed herself in the billion-dollar franchise, directed by Gareth Edwards, alongside a new cast including Jonathan Bailey, and a fresh narrative.- EndsMust Watch
