Official: Barcelona announce youngster's return
Attacker Aziz Issah, for those not familiar with his name, linked up with Barcelona last summer, as part of a loan deal from Dreams FC in his home country of Ghana.
The 19-year-old was immediately called up to first-team training by Hansi Flick, a testament to just how highly thought of he was by the Blaugrana staff.
Safe to say, however, that things did not exactly work out for Aziz Issah in his first season in Spain.
In fact, all told, the youngster managed just 26 minutes of playing time at youth level.
In turn, it may come as something of a surprise to learn of Barcelona, this week, having sanctioned a return for Aziz Issah.
As per a statement across the Catalans' website and social media platforms:
'FC Barcelona and Dreams FC have reached an agreement to extend Aziz Issah 's loan for another season, until June 30, 2026. The Ghanaian striker will return to Barça Atlètic after a first year of adaptation.'

Barcelona forward considering offer after surprise preseason tour snub
Barcelona are set to head on their preseason tour to Japan and South Korea on Thursday morning, and Hansi Flick has made up his mind to leave a number of players behind, as they look to resolve their future. Initially Pau Victor was not among those, and it was thought that he would be on the plane, but it appears not to be the case. That is according to Jijantes, who explain that like veteran Oriol Romeu, Victor would be remaining at Barcelona to organise an exit from the club. It appears the arrival of Marcus Rashford may well have taken his seat, with the Manchester United star set to be announced as a new signing this evening. Pau Victor considering offer from Portugal Victor has been linked to a number of sides over the past six months, with plenty of interest from La Liga. Valencia have recently enquired about his services, while the likes of Real Betis and Girona also linked to him. Yet Jijantes go on to say that Victor is keen on a move to Braga in Portugal, who have submitted a proposal to him. He would be following a well-trodden path for Spanish forwards, with another former La Masia graduate also heading there in the form of Abel Ruiz. Barcelona are keen for the move to be a permanent transfer, and previous reports put their asking price at €10m. The Catalan giants are keen to raise money to help with their registration issues. Image viaPau Victor's season at Barcelona After finishing as top scorer for Barca Atletic two seasons ago, Barcelona made his loan move from Girona permanent. An impressive preseason last summer earned him a spot in Hansi Flick's squad too, but following Ferran Torres' recovery from injury, Victor was limited to just 379 minutes all season. The 23-year-old had said at the end of the season that he would discuss his future with the club this summer.

Barcelona said it will 'consider readjusting' the leg of the summer tour in South Korea, where two games are scheduled against FC Seoul on July 31 and Daegu FC on Aug. 4, 'if certain conditions are met by the promoter.' Barcelona said that if 'these conditions are met, then the club will travel to South Korea in the coming days.' "Barcelona regrets this incident and the impact it will have on the many, many Barça fans in Japan,' the club said. Barcelona Boost: Marcus Rashford Joins On Loan From Manchester United
Marcus Rashford has been given the chance to revive his career at Barcelona with a season-long loan move from Manchester United announced Wednesday. The England forward, who was once considered among Europe's top talents, has seen his career stall in recent years after falling out of favor at United and ending last season on loan at Aston Villa. The 27-year-old Rashford will join a Barcelona attack that includes young star Lamine Yamal, Brazil international Raphinha and veteran striker Robert Lewandowski. Rashford had arrived in Barcelona on Sunday to sign his contract. He had already met his teammates and reportedly trained with the group on Tuesday. Financial details were not immediately disclosed. Spanish media said the agreement with United would give Barcelona an option to buy Rashford for about 30 million euros ($35 million). Spanish champions Barcelona had looked set to sign Spain forward Nico Williams this offseason until he agreed a 10-year deal to stay at Athletic Bilbao earlier this month. That opened the door for Rashford to make the switch. Barcelona had the best attack in Spanish soccer and one of the most prolific across Europe last season, but had been trying to add another piece to the front line to go along with Yamal, Raphinha and Lewandowski. The trio helped the club score 102 goals as it won the Spanish league title, 24 goals more than runner-up Real Madrid. The Catalan club also led the Champions League in goals with 43, five more than champion Paris Saint-Germain, before being eliminated by Inter Milan in the semifinals. Rashford had progressed through United's famed academy that produced greats like Ryan Giggs and David Beckham. He made 429 appearances, scored 138 goals and helped United win five major trophies, including two FA Cups and the Europa League. But he struggled to consistently live up to the hype that surrounded him when he burst onto the scene as a teenager in 2016 — only managing 20 goals or more in three seasons. In his last two seasons at United he scored a combined 15 goals and added another four in 17 games on loan at Villa. But Rashford's ability has rarely been called into question and he recently earned a recall to the England squad under new coach Thomas Tuchel, putting him in contention for next year's World Cup if the national team qualifies.
