Lily Allen Admits She ‘Can't Remember' How Many Abortions She's Undergone: ‘I Want to Say 4 or 5'

Lily Allen got real about her experiences with abortions — but couldn't pinpoint how many she's had.
'I'd get pregnant all the time, all the time,' Allen, 40, said during the Tuesday, July 1, episode of her "Miss Me?" podcast.
The 'Somewhere Only We Know' singer then mused, 'Abortions, I've had a few, but then again, I can't remember exactly how many. I think maybe like, I want to say five, four or five.'

Allen's 'Miss Me?' podcast cohost, Miquita Oliver, noted that she'd had 'about five, too.' Oliver, 41, felt some relief after she and Allen were able to be so open.
'Lily, I'm so happy I can say that and you can say it and no one came to shoot us down, no judgment,' Oliver added. 'We've had about the same amount of abortions.'
Allen, who shares Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper, proceeded to share one of her past experiences with listeners.

'I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic,' Allen said with a laugh, noting her opinions have since changed.
'I don't think it's generous or romantic,' she confirmed. 'How much is it, like, 500 quid? Kids are a lot more expensive.'
Allen recalled the aforementioned guy not 'texting her after' she got the abortion despite paying for it. 'Fair [to be honest], I was a f***ing crazy bitch, still am,' she quipped.
Allen revealed that she's since gotten better at using contraceptives. 'I have an IUD now. I think I'm on my third, maybe fourth,' she shared. 'I just remember before that was a complete disaster area.'
Allen didn't give any context as to when she had any of her abortions, but she became a mom for the first time in November 2011 with the birth of daughter Ethel. Her and Cooper's second daughter, Marnie, was born in January 2013.
Allen and Cooper, 47, were married from 2011 to 2018. The singer moved on with David Harbour, whom she wed in 2020.
Allen sparked split speculation in December 2024 when the Daily Mail reported that she was on the dating app Raya. In February, Harbour, 50, was spotted at the Critics Choice Awards and the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special without his wedding ring on, fueling breakup rumors.
Allen hinted at the split that same month during an episode of her podcast, revealing she'd recently been in a treatment program for an unknown reason.

'I just feel very grateful to have been given the time and the space that I needed,' she said in February. 'I went into a sort of treatment center for a few weeks, which was great. I did a lot of group therapy and some individual therapy, and I needed some time and space away from everything.'
In April, Harbour was asked about the rumors surrounding his relationship with Allen while speaking with GQ Hype.
'I'm protective of the people and the reality of my life. There's no use in that form of engaging [with rumors] because it's all based on hysterical hyperbole,' the Stranger Things actor responded.
Harbour concluded that he didn't want to encourage a 'salacious s***show of humiliation.'

'Extreme' storyline Emmerdale fans want to end as it's 'mind-numbingly tedious'

Emmerdale fans are calling for one of its ongoing storylines to end, with it being labelled "mind-numbingly tedious". Those who watch the ITV soap have been discussing the plot surrounding Joe Tate and the recently returned Dr Crowley. The pair has a previous history together as part of Joe's previous kidney transplant story. Now, the doctor, played by James Hillier, has returned to seek revenge. James Hillier's character last appeared on the ITV soap back in March. Joe was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and hired the shady doctor to treat him and secure him a kidney transplant. After Joe's paternal half-uncle, Caleb Miligan, was found to be a donor match, his kidney was taken after he was stabbed. Following this, Dr Crowley transplanted it into Joe before fleeing the country, and that was the last heard from him... until now. Having returned to the soap this week, Joe was knocked unconscious and woke up in a makeshift hospital room to find Crowley. He revealed that he gave Joe an epidural and "numbed the lower spine, along with the upper, near the base of the skull", meaning Joe was left paralysed. It was revealed that Shaun, who arrived with Joe's laptop, had been secretly working for Crowley. Despite originally refusing, following the threat of torture, Joe reveals the passwords and Shaun transfers £105,000 to Crowley's account. Alcaraz defeated Fritz, while Sinner convincingly eliminated Djokovic in the semi-finals. Sinner and Alcaraz, two of the world's top players, are meeting once again to gauge their strengths. If you don't want to miss this heart-pounding clash, here's how to stream the 2025 Wimbledon men's final on a free channel. Let's explain where to find it. While many paid channels broadcast Wimbledon, most people opt for free channels. BBC iPlayer, the BBC's video-on-demand service, allows you to watch Sinner vs Alcaraz online for free. How to do it? You go to BBC iPlayer (link: sign up (it's 100% free) or sign in, and enjoy the match when it starts. BBC iPlayer doesn't require a paid subscription. It requires an account, which costs nothing to make. This account lets you stream Sinner vs Alcaraz live for free. The problem with both is their availability. As you can likely assume, BBC iPlayer and 9Now work only in the UK and Australia, respectively. If you're abroad, there's a reliable solution to unblock them and watch the match. Many internet users believe VPNs are ideal options for unblocking BBC iPlayer and 9Now abroad. They often mention NordVPN, which is like Apple in the VPN world—the most popular and beloved option. NordVPN offers 440+ servers in the UK and 190+ servers in Australia. It also has unlimited bandwidth and some of the best streaming speeds. However, its primary purpose is to change the user's online location. Geo-restricted channels detect the user's IP and block or permit their access. A user abroad can connect to NordVPN's UK server and obtain a British IP address for BBC iPlayer. Similarly, they can use an Australian VPN server to get an Australian IP address for 9Now. NordVPN effortlessly unblocks both channels. Many would argue that NordVPN is a paid service, and they'd be right. However, people often use its 30-day money-back guarantee to get a refund. Don't hesitate to check our article on how to get a NordVPN free trial for more details. This renders the solution free. However, some people stick with the VPN and use it for cheaper online sports streams. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide. Our trick works regardless of your location. This means you can be in Asia or Africa and still use a VPN to watch Sinner vs Alcaraz on a free channel. Many other channels and platforms broadcast this match if you don't want to bother with a VPN. In the USA, you have: These three are exclusive to the USA, with hefty price tags and no refund policies. People abroad can use a VPN to watch Hulu, Sling TV, or fuboTV, albeit not sign up, as all three require US-based credit cards. Canadians can't watch Sinner vs Alcaraz live for free, but they can use TSN Plus if they don't mind subscribing. TSN Plus costs a whopping CAD $80 + tax annually or CAD $8 + tax monthly, and there is no refund policy. More importantly, TSN Plus is Canada-exclusive, so users abroad are unwelcome, unless they use a VPN. Many channels worldwide stream the match, but the only free, English options are BBC iPlayer and 9Now. Try NordVPN Risk-Free According to the H2H results, Carlos Alcaraz is a favorite. So far, the two best players clashed twelve times; Janik Sinner took four, while Carlos Alcaraz took eight matches. Interestingly, Alcaraz has beaten Sinner five times in a row, from 2024 to 2025. Sinner's last victory was in 2023. As you know, H2H statistics rarely give us the whole picture. We're discussing two magnificent, young talents likely at their apex. Regardless of your favorite, we know this Wimbledon final will be worth watching.

Princess Anne's old-fashioned daily diet is pretty peculiar

Princess Annehas the most fascinating royal diet. Despite being privy to personal chefs, along with the freshest ingredients and invites to many of the world's best restaurants at her disposal, the late Queen's daughter has some very frugal habits when it comes to food. From buying affordable supermarket staples to serving her dinner guests choc ices, the Princess Royal, 74, is most down-to-earth and eats some rather unusual dishes. In fact, Anne once told The Lady magazine that her large walk-in fridge is her favourite place at home! According to the MailOnline, Anne has never been one for decadence or indulgence when it comes to mealtimes and has even been known to serve her dinner guests pork pies or "anything by Fray Bentos," a supermarket brand of tinned meat. The Princess Royal explained, "After all, one wants everyone out of the house by 9.15pm at the latest. For pudding, I pass them a choc ice to eat in the car." So what exactly does Princess Anne's daily diet look like? Not only did we find out, we tried it for ourselves. One HELLO! writer gave Princess Anne's unusual diet a go and documented the results. Princess Anne reportedly likes to start her day with a bowl of fruit, kickstarting her metabolism with a natural sugar kick – but the way she likes to eat her bananas might make your stomach churn. It has been reported that the late Queen Elizabeth II's daughter often has a bizarre request for her bananas, preferring them to be past their 'best before' date. Former royal chef Darren McGrady previously told TODAY: "[Princess Anne] almost always preferred the bananas almost black - overripe - because they digest easier." Although very little is known about the royal's regular eating habits, Anne has been known to enjoy kippers, a form of smoked herring. The salty fish is most commonly eaten at breakfast with eggs, but makes a delicious lunch alternative when served in a salad, or paired with buttery new potatoes. The royal's fondness for kippers was revealed by a complimentary letter she previously sent to Fortune Kippers, a 140-year-old company based in Whitby, Yorkshire. Given Anne's sweet tooth and close relationship with her mother, it's also likely the royal shares a fondness for afternoon tea, which Her Late Majesty was said to enjoy every day. Darren previously revealed that the late monarch enjoyed chocolate biscuit cake and ginger cake, and her favourite sandwiches were cucumber, egg and smoked salmon. Delicious! To mark her 70th birthday in 2020, Princess Anne guest-edited an edition of Country Life magazine, of which her contributions revealed her favourite dish – and it's so luxurious. Anne told readers that devilled pheasant was her go-to supper, brought to life by Executive Chef of the Ritz, John Williams. John told Country Life: "Basically, a couple of whole pheasants are poached, then taken off the bone, shredded and kept warm in the poaching juices. "You just add freshly whipped cream, left in the fridge for an hour to stiffen, mixed with a good amount of Green Label mango chutney."
