At booths 25 and 27, Johnson Controls Arabia showcased its latest innovations, including the OpenBlue platform—a suite of intelligent technologies designed to enhance venue management, elevate fan experiences through personalized digital engagement, and optimize energy efficiency. The company also presented its YORK cooling systems, proudly manufactured in Saudi Arabia and engineered to meet the demands of modern sports environments.
A highlight of Johnson Controls' global expertise was its landmark contribution to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where it deployed a first-of-its-kind digital command center linking all stadiums via a unified facility management platform. Built on OpenBlue and powered by Microsoft Azure, this solution integrated Digital Twin technology to provide real-time operational oversight, predictive maintenance, and optimized performance across all venues.

Riyadh - Al-Ra'i National Livestock Company, a subsidiary of the National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec), launched a SAR 2 billion project in the Hail region. The intensive livestock farming and meat production project includes SAR 1.10 billion in government financing from the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF), according to a bourse disclosure. The project aims to develop integrated facilities for raising sheep and goats using advanced technologies, which will contribute to increasing local meat production, lowering dependency on imports, and empowering small-scale farmers. This will achieve sectoral sustainability in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The initiative is expected to reach a production capacity of one million heads of sheep annually by 2030. Moreover, Al Raie signed three memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the University of Hail, the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Foundation for Development Finance, and the Entag Association for Productive Families in Hail. The MoUs focus on student training, research, supporting productive families, developing local industries, such as wool and leather, and implementing social responsibility programs. Hilton on track to hit 100 hotel milestone in Saudi Arabia
Hilton has reiterated its commitment to Saudi Arabia, stating that it is on track to operate and pipeline 100 hotels this year. The move reflects its long-term dedication to growth in the Kingdom. Hilton said it is actively introducing more of its award winning brands to the country, with 14 brands currently trading and in the pipeline. As part of its growth strategy, the company anticipates multiple new signings, aiming to add over 21,000 rooms across various locations in Saudi Arabia. The hospitality brand's premium economy offering, Spark by Hilton, is making its debut in the Middle East and Africa with a new signing. Since its launch in 2023, Spark by Hilton has been at the forefront of innovation, uniquely positioned to grow and scale rapidly. The award ceremony will take place on the morning of Tuesday, 8 July 2025, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Shatti Al Qurum (Al Thuraya Hall).
