WeHo Pride 2025: Everything you need to know
Since 2022, WeHo Pride has quickly come into its own as an essential Pride Month event, with its own music festival and parade set amid the city's iconic gay bars and clubs. Read on for everything you need to know about WeHo Pride and the WeHo Pride Parade—and lots more major Pride Month events across Los Angeles—plus our favorite party spots for divas and drag queens alike.
What is WeHo Pride? And when is it?
Though Christopher Street West may have moved L.A. Pride east, West Hollywood still holds its own celebration on the former site of the event. The bulk of WeHo Pride takes place in and around West Hollywood Park (647 N San Vicente Blvd).
WeHo Pride is officially a monthlong affair that kicks off on May 22 with a celebration of Harvey Milk Day and the WeHo Pride Arts Festival (May 23–25) and lasts all of Pride Month, until June 30. But the star of the show is WeHo Pride Weekend, which coincides with an accompanying music fest dubbed OUTLOUD. That takes place from May 30 to June 1 this year.
Lizzo, Paris Hilton, Remi Wolf, Kim Petras and Shygirl are headlining the OUTLOUD main stage, with additional performances by Shygirl Presents: Club Shy, Pabllo Vittar, Rebecca Black, Empress Of and more. Meanwhile, the SUMMERTRAMP stage, a 'sun-soaked party and dance oasis,' will feature both live performances and DJ sets, with Honey Dijon, Horse Meat Disco, salute and Meredith Marks topping the lineup.
All of this follows a free night of music on Friday, where Grammy-winning country-turned-pop star Maren Morris will perform, as well as Qveen Herby, Jamie Fine and more (you can RSVP to secure a spot here). Friday night will also feature the return of the Drag Queen Lip Sync Battle Royale.
In addition to the weekend's musical lineup, there's plenty happening off-stage as well—namely the free WeHo Pride Street Fair along Santa Monica Boulevard, between Hancock and La Peer, on Saturday and Sunday (noon–8pm). The fair hosts its own live entertainment and performances on a community stage. You'll also find the Women's Freedom Festival (noon–5:30pm) and motorcycle-led Dyke March (6–7pm) on Saturday, May 31.
When is the WeHo Pride Parade?
Then, on Sunday, June 1, WeHo Pride will hold a parade that starts at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Crescent Heights Boulevard at noon, then heads west on Santa Monica to San Vicente Boulevard (right at West Hollywood Park). Expect a colorful procession of floats, bands, dance teams, marchers and special guests to make their way along the mile-long route.

Lizzo channels Baywatch era Pamela Anderson in iconic red swimsuit after sharing 'truth' about her weight loss
Lizzo channeled the Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson in a red, one-piece swimsuit in her latest social media post over the weekend. On Saturday, the Juice hitmaker took to Instagram to share a video of herself modeling a sexy piece of swimwear from her brand Yitty as she lounged poolside. While laying down by the pool, she ran her hands up and down her body and showcased her toned and noticeably slimmer curves. She showed off her long, platinum blonde beach waves as well as an icy, diamond-encrusted Yitty chain on her neck. With a blank space left for her fans to share their imagination, she wrote in her caption: 'Put some @yitty on yo ______!' This comes after the 37-year-old singer revealed the 'truth' about her weight loss journey — and as her fans turned on the thinner-than-ever star as she finally admits to using Ozempic after her rampant denial. Her Ozempic transformation was on full display, as the star sparked fierce online reaction after she finally admitted to trying the famed celebrity weight loss drug - after years of denial. In the past two years, there has been a flurry of fan speculation about Lizzo using Ozempic as she documented her weight loss journey on social media. She previously denied using any form of weight loss drugs and credited her major transformation due to an extreme workout regimen and eating healthy. However, she made an appearance on Trisha Paytas' podcast Just Trish in late June and decided to come clean. 'I tried everything,' she said while explaining how she tried using GLP-1 drugs for several months in the beginning of her weight loss journey. 'Ozempic works because you eat less food, yeah? So if you eat right, it makes you feel full. But if you can just do that on your own and get mind over matter, it's the same thing.' Many of her fans seemingly turned on her after she 'lied' for months and previously denied allegations, claiming she achieved her much slimmer figure through 'weight lifting and calorie deficit.' Back in September 2024, she denied rumors and said weight lifting and calorie deficits was her secret to losing weight. She also said that she started getting results when she stopped being vegan after many years of not eating meat. 'What did it for me is, it was not being vegan,' she explained. 'Because when I was vegan, I was consuming a lot of fake meats. I was eating a lot of bread. I was eating a lot of rice and I had to eat a lot of it to stay full.' The Grammy winner said that eating meat again allowed her to avoid eating products with 'fake sugar and weird stuff.' She also insisted that Ozempic and other weight loss drugs are not 'cheating.' 'It's not easy. It's a drug to help somebody with something they're struggling with,' she said. 'I think people — it's their way of being fat phobic when you're telling someone they're cheating.' Her admission comes as she faced backlash for 'cheating' after she rose to fame for championing body positivity. Recently, she opened up about the 'truth' as she shared her lifestyle changes but has not revealed exactly how much weight she has lost. In a new interview with Women's Health, the Grammy winner revealed she's adopted a high-protein, low-carb diet to help her meet and exceed her goals. She starts her day with a go-to breakfast of two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a cauliflower hash brown. For lunch, she opts for a shredded Thai chicken salad or lettuce wraps stuffed with tuna or sliced chicken breast. For dinner, she often opts for turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans — a satisfying, balanced end to her day. She makes sure to finish her final meal of the day by 5 p.m. 'I have GERD [gastroesophageal reflux disease], so my body needs time to digest food before I go to sleep, so acid doesn't roll up to my throat,' she explained. Her snacks are equally disciplined: low-sugar Greek yogurt with blueberries or blackberries, topped with a drizzle of honey for sweetness. She's also ditched her former habit of multiple daily Frappuccinos, now choosing coffee with vanilla protein powder instead. That said, the About Damn Time artist still allows herself a few indulgences, including chicken tenders with waffles, crab legs or a coconut-cream-filled donut. Her transformation is also supported by a strict fitness routine guided by a personal trainer.

Lizzo strips down to her underwear to showcase incredible body transformation after weight loss
Lizzo took to Instagram on Thursday to display her extraordinary weight loss in stripped down side-by-side photos. The 37-year-old music artist — who stepped out with boyfriend Myke Wright on Wednesday — wore paper undergarments in mirror selfies while shouting out wellness professional Flávia Lanini. She wrote in the caption, 'THIS IS A @flavialanini APPRECIATION POST,' before detailing how she's slimmed down in recent months. 'The photo on the left is my first time getting lymphatic massage from Flavia, and the right is the most recent!' she noted. Then the star divulged: 'Here's the truth! I work my *ss off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit, cutting out sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips.' Lizzo, born Melissa Jefferson, said she 'quit drinking for the longest' but has reincorporated it into her lifestyle because 'I earned it.' Outlining her physical activity, she listed, 'I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water.' She also wrote to her nearly 12 million followers, 'I detox! Once a month! I also get holistic body work done, wood therapy, and lymphatic massage. I'm so happy and proud of what I've done and no one can take that away from me.' It comes after the About Damn Time hitmaker spoke openly about her health journey in a new interview with Women's Health. Within the issue, she revealed she's adopted a high-protein, low-carb diet to help hit her goals. She starts her day with a go-to breakfast of two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a cauliflower hash brown. For lunch, she eats a shredded Thai chicken salad or lettuce wraps stuffed with tuna or sliced chicken breast. And for dinner, the entertainer often chooses turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mashed potatoes and green beans. Lizzo carefully detailed how she's slimmed down in recent months Lizzo was a guest on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast in April, where she discussed her 'weight release journey.' Addressing her shrinking frame, she declared, 'I have been on an intentional weight release journey.' The singer-songwriter said, 'I put it on the internet. I posted about it, and I think over the last year and a half, as I've been doing it, my body has been changing — very slowly — but I don't think people were paying attention.' She opened up, 'I was still very anti-fatphobia on this entire journey. But I think that we gotta remember: everybody's not seeing your sh*t all the time, everybody's not seeing every video you post, everybody's not privy to what you're going through.' And Lizzo acknowledged, 'I think [my weight loss] was shocking to a lot of people.'
