Road dubbed Britain's wonkiest set to reopen
The B4069 at Lyneham Banks, Wiltshire, was closed in February 2022, but is set to reopen on Wednesday.
The work, which included constructing a 108m-long retaining wall and cost £5m, was completed by Octavius on behalf of Wiltshire Council.
Wiltshire councillor Alison Bucknell said: "It has been a long, slow journey to get to where we are today."

During the work, the slope above and beyond the roadway was regraded, with drainage systems also installed beneath the new carriageway and on the new hillside.
"I would like to pay tribute to all of the officers and contractors who have worked on this project, and to the residents and businesses who have had to put up with a huge amount of inconvenience," Ms Bucknell added.
She said while residents have asked for an official opening, there will be "no balloons, no fanfare, no drumroll".
"The most important thing is that we can get our lives back to "normal" as soon as possible," she said.
She said the whole situation had been "simply horrendous".
Before its closure, the road was used by more than 5,000 vehicles a day.

Tiny kitten hit by car found hiding under truck. Now, she's fighting to survive
A spit-fire little kitten with a heart as big as her voice is in need of some help in Texas. Even though Stormy had a very rough, and painful, start in life, her future has potential, the South Plains Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Lubbock said. 'A tiny approximately 6 week old kitten, now named Stormy, was found crying in pain under a truck at a car dealership. She had been hit by a car and was trying to survive with a severely broken leg,' the shelter said in a July 30 Facebook post. 'Stormy was rushed to the vet, and the news is tough — her leg is too badly damaged to save and she will need a full amputation to relieve her pain and give her a chance at a happy, pain-free life. Stormy was also covered in fleas causing her to be severely anemic requiring further treatment before she is even able to undergo surgery.' The sweet kitten is loving and expresses it to those around her as well. 'Despite all she's been through, Stormy is purring in the arms of her rescuers, vocal and grateful to be safe. She is fighting to live, and we want to give her that chance,' the shelter said. For more information on Stormy, visit the shelter's website. Lubbock is about a 315-mile drive northwest from Fort Worth.
