Producer confirms dual projects with Trivikram
According to a social media post by Devipriya on X, the film's shooting is scheduled to begin in August of this year, marking a return for the beloved star-director duo. Producer Naga Vamsi had confirmed the film in an earlier social media post, revealing the two films with Trivikram Srinivas, one of which is Venkatesh's film, while the other will feature
Jr NTR
in a grand mythological role.
A promising combo
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the teaming up of Venkatesh and Trivikram, especially considering the director's knack for mixing emotion, humor, and engaging storytelling that perfectly complements Venkatesh's versatile screen presence.
Meanwhile, Trivikram Srinivas is also gearing up for another ambitious project, a mythological drama based on the story of Lord Karthikeya from Hindu mythology. The film was originally planned with
Allu Arjun
, but with him currently filming Atlee's sci-fi action 'AA22xA6', he had to pull away from the project.
Jr NTR has come in to lead the project.
Director Trivikram Srinivas's last film is Mahesh Babu starrer 'Guntur Kaaram'. The movie received a positive response from the fans and however couldn't collect box office numbers like of a Mahesh Babu film.
As for Venkatesh, Venkatesh recently returned as 'Naga Naidu in Rana Naidu Season 2' and speaking of his theatrical releases the actor was last seen in 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam', where he played the role of YD Raju, a former IPS officer caught in a tangled web of action and drama. The film also featured Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as female leads.

The actor got emotional at the audio launch of the film, recently held in Chennai, while watching his son follow in his footsteps. He also revealed how Atlee's Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan led to his son Surya's debut. (Also Read: I want stardom, and I work only to be a star, says Vijay Sethupathi) Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan surprisingly led to the debut of Vijay Sethupathi's son Surya as an actor. Vijay spoke at the audio launch and said that watching him step into the limelight is like dropping him off on the first day of school. 'It felt just like the day I dropped him off at school for the first time,' he said, reflecting on the pride and nervousness that came with the moment. He also thanked Anl Arasu master for spotting Surya during the shooting of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan and believing he could headline an action film. 'Surya has always loved mass action films. When he liked the script, I told him to decide for himself. I just asked once if he was enjoying it, he said yes, and that was enough for me,' said Vijay, who played the antagonist in Jawan. The actor also thanked actor Devadarshini for treating Surya like her own son. He ended his speech with, 'He's very adaptable and self-aware.
