Goblin star Lee Dong Wook asks fans to ‘unfollow' him after hate comments flood messaging app: ‘ I'm at a point in my life where things…'

Lee has been active on Bubble for a while now. Lately, K-pop idols like TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, and Red Velvet have been all over the platform, along with celebs like Hyeri and other K-drama stars. And while most fans use it to support and shower love on their artists, Lee revealed that he's actually been getting attacked by some subscribers. It went as far as people asking him not to send any messages at all. But instead of lashing out, Lee kept his cool and got curious. 'It's nice because there is no lag today. Hey, but I'm really curious about something, so could you please answer for me? It's not because I'm mad; I'm just genuinely curious,' he wrote (translated via Koreaboo). The Tale of the Nine Tailed star then added, 'Why do they tell me to stop sending messages because it disrupts them at work? I'm seriously curious about the psychological aspect of saying something like that.'

The actor further asked why these subscribers say such things instead of just removing him from the list, turning off their alerts, or simply deleting the app if they're so frustrated. 'I'm honestly not mad at all; I'm just genuinely curious as to why they're like that,' he continued, adding, 'I ignore them, but I see those messages every time I come on here. Why are they like that all the time??' Still, he made sure not to throw shade at the ones who do support him. 'From an economic perspective, I'm thankful that people pay to subscribe to me,' he said, adding that he's even thankful to the ones who leave bad comments—but what he really wants to understand is the psychology behind it. 'Why are they like that on a paid subscription service… I mean, I'm thankful for it.'
Lee, in the end, said that whatever the point is, he's at a stage in life where he doesn't get hurt over such things. He added that he just wants to see the expression on those anti-fans' faces when they write such messages without any consideration. He signed off saying, 'Whether it's to seek attention, keep at it… it's a win for me. I guess this mystery will be left unsolved for eternity. Anyway, recommend something for dinner. I'm always the one recommending things for you guys.'
On the work front, the Goblin star recently headlined Prime Video's The Divorce Insurance. He is currently starring in Disney+'s' Nice Guy alongside actor Lee Sung Kyung.

When a 'traumatised' Rakhee Majumdar decided to end her marriage with Gulzar after he showed concern for Suchitra Sen: 'We deserve an award for the best split couple'
Veteran actress Rakhee Majumdar's marriage to lyricist Sampooran Singh Kalra, popularly known as Gulzar , became an emotional topic for her fans when their bond ended on a traumatic note. However, after parting ways unofficially, they grew closer to each other. Rakhee Majumdar's failed marriage with Ajay Biswas Rakhee had married Bengali filmmaker Ajay Biswas at a young age, but they separated in 1965. Later, fate brought her together with Gulzar. The acclaimed lyricist and writer married Rakhee in 1973, and the couple welcomed their daughter Meghna Gulzar the same year. Reportedly, Gulzar asked Rakhee to step away from her acting career after marriage. Rakhee Majumdar's marriage with Gulzar Trusting that her passion could still find space in Gulzar's own productions, Rakhee agreed. She turned down multiple film offers, hoping her husband might cast her in his films. However, those expectations were dashed when Gulzar repeatedly chose other actresses for his projects. Rakhee's tolerance reached its limit during the J&K shoot of Gulzar's Aandhi. A post-shoot gathering led to a tense moment when lead actor Sanjeev Kumar allegedly misbehaved with actress Suchitra Sen . Gulzar intervened to de-escalate the situation and later escorted Suchitra to her hotel. Though his intentions may have been noble, Rakhee felt hurt and questioned him about his actions. Rakhee Majumdar's return to Bollywood The confrontation turned violent. According to reports, Gulzar hit Rakhee for questioning him. The incident left her traumatised. The very next day, filmmaker Yash Chopra offered her a role in Kabhi Kabhie. Rakhee returned to films, despite her husband's disapproval. Kabhi Kabhie marked a powerful comeback for her, and the duo decided to live apart. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like local network access control Esseps Learn More Undo Their daughter Meghna was unwilling to see her parents officially part ways, so they never legally divorced. The duo later maintained a respectful bond with each other. Rakhee Majumdar's bond with Gulzar after separation In an old interview with Stardust, Rakhee spoke about the dynamics of their post-separation relationship. 'We deserve an award for the best split couple. We are more well-adjusted than most married couples. Gulzar and I are there for each other. He treats me as if I were still his wife. He calls me from his house and tells me, 'I've called four friends for dinner. There's no food at home. So please, quickly send some jhinga curry. ' I send it across.' Rakhee also opened up about how Gulzar's films often mirrored intimate aspects of their personal life. Over the years, she observed that he drew inspiration from their shared moments and translated them into scenes and characters on screen. She believes that only the two of them can truly recognise the real-life situations behind those cinematic moments. Recalling their time as a married couple, she shared that their evenings often involved creative exchanges—Gulzar would read his stories aloud while she translated Bengali stories for him. She would remain by his side as he continued writing late into the night. Two of those stories were eventually adapted into his films, Parichay and Khushboo. She also mentioned a call she once received from Gulzar, during which he praised her role in 'Ram Lakhan'.

Is Panchayat Losing Out On Its Innocence As Politics Takes Spotlight? Sanvikaa REACTS
Last Updated: Sanvikaa plays Rinki in Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav starrer Panchayat season 4, which premiered on June 24, 2025. Actress Sanvikaa, who essays the role of Rinki in the superhit streaming series 'Panchayat', feels that as the show progresses with subsequent seasons, it holds on to its innocence which is one of the show's core values. 5 years ago, when season 1 of 'Panchayat' was released, the show tugged at the heart-strings of the audience owing to its simple, flavourful storytelling and the innocence of its characters. However, as the narrative progressed, many elements made their way to the show, with politics being the prominent theme since the last 2 seasons. The actress recently spoke with IANS. When asked that given the political elements picking up in the show, can the show tread away from innocence in the longer run, she said, 'I don't think so. Though the key characters are competing with each other if either of them is in need, even the opposition team will come and help and support". She further mentioned, 'So I think even in villages right now, though there will be opposition, though people will hate each other, but when there are crises, or like when someone needs any help, no matter how much they hate that person, they will always go and help that person". She told IANS, 'So I think that innocence is not lost. It is just like being masked with the situations that people are having right now, like the politics. But if we talk about innocence, I think it's still there". Earlier, the actress had spoken up on the trajectory of character in the show through 4 seasons. She shared that it was the conscious choice of the makers to gradually unravel the layers of her character, and not in one go. In the first season of the show, Sanvikaa's character is not seen until the last sequence of the season 1 finale episode. Her character has grown over a time period, and this time around she is more hands-on and fully involved with the narrative of the show. Talking about the same, she said earlier, 'I think the makers wanted it to be in such a way, where the character is slowly progressing. They never wanted to give it like in the first go itself. That's why conscious efforts have been made to show Rinky in bits and pieces only". 'And, with time we are discovering who Rinky is, what she stands for and how her relations with the family and with her love life and whatever she's dealing with in her life, that is being discovered in a very slow process", she added. 'Panchayat' is available to stream on Prime Video. First Published:
