Fairmont Country Club: Martin and Vernon are enjoying a meal. They talk a bit about The Articulettes before Vernon brings up that dreadful night. Martin says the past is right in front of them and isn't going anywhere. With that, the duo shoots glances at the nosy waiter. Martin is thrilled his grandfather believes him as he thought he was losing his mind. Vernon says they must do something to calm his nerves. He thinks he should make the suggestion to get the young waiter moved to a different post. They also need to find out what game the young man is playing.
Martin tells his grandfather more about what happened with the young waiter the day before. Vernon thinks something more underhanded is happening. Just then, the young waiter approaches and Martin has another flashback. The young waiter says Martin looks like he saw a ghost. Vernon wonders whether they've met before. He says it's hard to tell with so many of their people looking alike – Duprees, he means. Vernon responds knowing EXACTLY what the young waiter meant. With that, Vernon dismisses him and tells Martin he knows the young man is connected to the incident. Martin agrees as he knows he was there that night. Vernon wonders why he would be here and now. With that, Vernon says they need to get to work and make their exit. Unfortunately, Martin leave his keys behind…
Martin and Smitty's Place: Smitty and Tyrell are hanging out. Smitty is researching his latest articles and Tyrell compares it to his love of chess. Smitty says he is doing a profile on a police detective. Tyrell calls it a puff piece but knows his dad will turn it into something better. Tyrell asks to hear it and Smitty begins to read. He says he's done some digging and thinks there's more to this guy than meets the eye.
Smitty shows his son the information about Marcel taking what appears to be bribes. He is certain something isn't right. How does a cop go from getting by to being a millionaire in such a short amount of time. They do some searching and Smitty wonders who helped Marcel hit the lottery two years prior.
Police Station: Jacob is furious when Marcel approaches and asks what's up. He asks if his ire is directed at Leslie's case and Jacob gets all kids of fiery with his elder. Jacob thinks Marcel is nothing but talk.
Orphey Gene's: Kat wants to talk about business while Chelsea wants to discuss her relationship with Madison. Kat wonders why she is moving at lightning speed and says she could never. They talk a bit about the meeting with the family before moving on to work issues.
Kat tells Chelsea they are being sued for copyright infringement. Chelsea says the idea for the purse was hers alone. Kat believes her and Chelsea thinks someone heard the buzz about their product and is trying to profit. Kat wonders if they will always be plagued with these types of barriers. They both think they need to work together to squash the opposition, so folks know not to mess with them.
Jacob arrives and Kat demands an update on THEIR case. He pushes back but Kat demands to be the first person he calls when he gets the results of the DNA test. She grabs her bag and prances towards the door where she runs into Naomi.
Naomi wonders if she needs to apologize for her cousin but Jacob says she's lowkey a better partner than the one he's been assigned. Jacob asks Naomi what's up and she tells him about June and the cleanup crew. She's been displaced once again and is without any of her stuff. Jacob says he'll make some calls but thinks June shouldn't get her hopes up.
Bill and Hayley's Place: Bill is going on about nonsense when Hayley confronts him about his health. She wants to know the truth so they can fight together. Bill is confused and Hayley says the insurance company called and she wants him to spill. He says he is just making sure she is protected in case anything ever happens. Hayley says she only cares about him, and he promises he's not going anywhere. Just then, Bill gets notice of Chelsea's arrival.
Chelsea says she is looking for some free legal advice and shows Bill the copyright suit along with a cease-and-desist order. She promises the purse was her idea and she doesn't even know who these folks are. Chelsea wonders if they are actually capable of shutting their business down.
Things get heated with the trio and Chelsea gets snarky with both Bill and Hayley. As Hayley is exiting the room, Chelsea stops her and thanks her for getting her father to the hospital and sticking by his side. She doesn't mean to offend her in her own home. She turns to Bill and says despite his heinous actions, she loves him. Bill knows he hasn't always been a good father but would love to use this opportunity to work together and get closer.
Bill and Chelsea sit down, and he says the suit is simply a first effort at intimidation. Chelsea thanks her father. After some pushing, she admits she came to him because he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty.
Police Station: Marcel asks Elon about Smitty's puff piece. Elon says it's mandatory as the department needs good press. Marcel indicates Smitty is asking all kinds of questions which could cause problems for him and his retirement. Elon wonders if he's been tipped off which leads Marcel to wonder if Martin is responsible.
Chelsea and Kat's Digs: Tomas arrives to give Kat legal advice about Leslie's case. She asks if it's possible to hire a private DNA lab to test the sample as the city's folks are backlogged for months. Tomas says it would take the sample out of the chain of custody.
Tomas and Kat get all hot and heavy when she shuts down the scene. Kat apologizes but Tomas says she's helping him be a good role model to his little brother, Ramon (when will we meet Ramon and when will he hook up with Samantha?). He says good things are worth waiting for (will he sleep with Eva before Kat?). Tomas asks if there is something she's waiting for to take that next step with him. Kat says she has seen people in her family take chances with love and be devastated. She doesn't want to be anyone's after thought. Tomas assures she won't ever be his afterthought. With that, he says he needs to go back to work. Kat embraces him but Tomas doesn't seem happy.
Orphey Gene's: Naomi asks June to please let her secure safter housing. June ignores her words and asks about her things. Naomi says there's no information yet, but Jacob is on the case. June indicates she's not used to folks looking out for her. They talk about the picture and June says there's something about those kids' faces that is special. She thinks if you have a child, it makes the world better. She can imagine anything as she lives her life through that photograph. Naomi promises they will do everything they can to reunite her with her photograph.
Jacob arrives with a box of June's things. She looks through everything and thanks Jacob for all his help. She rummages through the box but doesn't see the picture. June freaks out as she throws everything out of the box. At the bottom, she finds the picture and breaks down in tears. She promises her children she will never leave them again.

Elon tells Marcel he convinced PR to take the precinct off the publicity tour. There will be no more interviews for the foreseeable future. Marcel says that doesn't solve their problems as Smitty's investigation is going to lead him back to his own house. Marcel tells Elon someone needs to get the message through to him right quick. Elon promises to drive the point home.
Smitty calls someone saying he needs to talk to them right now.
Vernon speaks to someone (presumably Elon) that the situation needs to be shut down.
Martin returns to the table at the country club and finds his keys gone.

It reenters those lists at Nos. 8 and 14, respectively. It wouldn't be unusual for a musician as celebrated as Eminem to score one or two hits in the United States, even with decades-old tunes. But what is notable is that "Lose Yourself" remains a top 10 bestseller — albeit only on a genre-specific roster. "Lose Yourself" is approaching 500 weeks on both of the charts on which it currently appears. If it can hold on for another month on the Rap Digital Song Sales tally, it will hit that milestone. While it still has several dozen more frames to go on the broader R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking, it seems likely that it will eventually make it to that landmark figure as well. Amazingly, despite the fact that "Lose Yourself" has spent nearly 500 spans on both charts, it has yet to reach No. 1 on either of them. Eminem's smash has stalled in the runner-up space on both sales lists, coming frustratingly close to adding to his growing roster of champions on more than one occasion. Eminem's Oscar-Winning Smash Eminem released "Lose Yourself" in October 2002. The song served as the lead single from the 8 Mile soundtrack. The tune was a huge commercial success, ruling the Hot 100 for 12 consecutive frames and dominating multiple other rankings around the world. When I pulled up to the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, I knew that I'd found the perfect hotel that seamlessly mirrored my personality and overall vibe. The striking architectural design and aesthetically pleasing pale pink facade signaled to my senses that I'd finally found my happy place. As I stepped inside the super luxe lobby, every stress melted away. I was instantly transported to a pink paradise that would be my home away from home for the next three days. Popular for girls' trips, bachelorette weekends, and die-hard Barbiecore fans who dream of staying in a pink hotel, this boutique property reigns supreme. It looks like something right out of Kristin Wiig's comedy-drama series Palm Royale, which is set in luxurious Palm Beach. Related: Before I could even sit down to check in (more on that later), the de Gournay mural on the walls of the property's Living Room stopped me in my tracks. My eyes lit up in delight as I marveled at the hand-painted masterpiece that covered the entire lobby. Flanked by floral-patterned couches and pastel upholstered chairs, the whimsical motif is the focal point. With flamingos sporting pearl necklaces and bedazzled monkeys sitting in trees of a lush garden, it's hard not to be captivated by the brilliant artistry. I was only pulled out of my trance when I saw the host gesture for me to start the check-in process. As an experienced travel writer, hotels are like my second home. From small, budget-friendly accommodations to sprawling, extravagant estates, I've stayed in and reviewed countless properties around the world. Also, as someone who enjoys documenting my travels and creating online content, I'm in-the-know about the most Instagrammable places around the globe and where to take those coveted IG-worthy shots. Since I'd arrived a couple of hours before check-in, which is 4 p.m. (check-out is 12 p.m.), she suggested that I order lunch at their on-site restaurant, Swifty's, and hang out by the sparkling pool. I happily obliged. By the time I finished lunch and took photos and videos of the pool area and lavish lobby, which also has a Dolce & Gabbana outpost and a couple other in-house retailers, my room was ready. The hotel offers sumptuous accommodations, including 89 guest rooms and suites. On the way to my standard room, I was blown away by the dazzling hallway. On my floor, the walls were adorned with white wallpaper bedecked in geometrical bamboo designs. The carpet was bright pink and covered with verdant leaves. The bold colors, patterns and textures complemented the lobby, but with a slight twist. Related: That same maximalist design approach was executed in my guest room. My eyes quickly gravitated to the light-green floral headboard, which was the clear centerpiece of the space. The wicker furniture and desk with a hidden vanity inside were charming touches that added character to the room. Plus, splashes of pinks and greens throughout made it a dream bedroom for people like me who appreciate bright colors, mixed prints and eye-catching patterns. The best part? The Colony Hotel offers a shoppable room experience. So, almost everything is available for purchase. From Matouk linens to Dyson hair dryers, guests can take a piece of pink paradise back to their homes. Pro Tip: Make sure you don't pass on turndown service. There will be a delicious Parisian treat waiting on your pillow to ensure a sweet slumber. The pool is the place to be if you can pull yourself away from your glamorous room. Comfy lounge chairs, umbrellas and playful inner tubes surround the pool. While chilling in the shade or sunbathing, guests can flip through the latest magazines for light reading. As a long-time magazine lover, I was thrilled to see the 'Poolside Press' newsstand. It gives a cool, retro vibe to the area. Plus, it's one of the most Instagrammable places (there are many) on the property. Swifty's, one of the hotel's two dining venues, is a recommended eatery. Offering three meals a day, it's a great spot to grab a bite while lounging at the lively pool scene. I had several breakfast and lunch meals, including the most delicious salmon bowl I've ever eaten. Breakfast is consistently good with offerings like avocado toast, granola parfait and other morning meal classics. In addition to Swifty's, the Colony is also home to Pink Paradise Cafe. Guests can pick up grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and snacks. Of course, it also serves coffee and pastries for those who need a java and sweet fix. While dining or flipping through magazines poolside, you just might spot vintage-loving celebrities like Kelsey Grammer or Coco Rocha, who are known to frequent the property. The legendary hotel has a long history of being a hotspot for stars and Palm Beach socialites that dates to the 1950s. Some of its famous past guests include Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Lena Horne, to name a few. Drinks and cocktails are always flowing in the Living Room, located in the lobby. This is the prime gathering spot for live entertainment, socializing and people-watching. In fact, the Living Room even has its own series featuring notable personalities and entrepreneurs, which takes place every Wednesday evening. During my stay, Suebelle, the stylish bouffant-wearing famous influencer, was hosting a gathering. The Colony is also where trendy Palm Beachers and tastemakers go for book signings, fashion pop-ups and more. Of course, guests are decked out in the latest designer fashions. From Valentino to Lilly Pulitzer, women go to the Colony to see and be seen. It's a fashion-friendly property where getting dressed up is expected. So, be sure to pack flowy maxi dresses and glittering pink ensembles that will complement your pretty surroundings. It's also a good idea to bring a few casual pieces like tank tops, shorts and, of course, bathing suits. Ahead of my trip, I created a mental mood board to help with my packing list. It prevented me from overpacking and made my clothing selection process easy. If you're looking for a hotel where feminine aesthetics thrive and top-notch amenities abound, the Colony answers the call. That's why it's the ultimate destination for girls' trips, mother-daughter getaways and bachelorette celebrations. Whether you're hanging out at dinner, relaxing by the pool or having a slumber party while wearing the branded white robes, spending time with your favorite girls is always loads of fun. The hotel's ambiance and mesmerizing designs serve as the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories. Plus, it's just steps or a short drive away from the beach and nearby hotspots. Guests who want to take a dip in the ocean can request a buggy to the beach. Sure, you can walk, but who doesn't want to be chauffeured in style? In true Colony fashion, the buggy is completely branded with all the flair that the property boasts. In the mood to shop? Gather your girls and get some retail therapy on Worth Avenue, Palm Beach's famous luxury shopping district. Designer brands and luxury retailers like Gucci and Tiffany & Co. are mainstays on the strip. Also, be sure to stop in Lilly Pulitzer for vibrant print dresses and darling accessories. If you want to indulge in an off-site dinner, head to Pink Steak, where they keep the pink and green vibes going. The restaurant serves quintessential steakhouse fare like high-quality steaks, seafood and classic sides. It has a lively atmosphere that's ideal for bachelorette party groups. If being out in nature is a must, add the Ann Norton Sculpture Museum to your itinerary. It's a wonderful way to see exquisite sculptures and remarkable artwork while being outdoors. The museum even has a cozy porch for visitors to sit and take in all of nature's beauty. The Flagler Museum is another option for those who crave history and culture. The museum is housed inside Whitehall, Henry Flagler's opulent 75-room Gilded Age mansion, which is also a National Historic Landmark. Prior to my stay at the Colony Hotel, my expectations were extremely high. However, I had no clue that they'd be greatly exceeded. I anticipated that there would be plenty of cute photo-ops, good food and breathtakingly beautiful decor, but I was blown away by the hospitality and amazing attention to detail. Sometimes looks can be deceiving. For example, I've visited several places that were visually appealing but lacked in the quality of service. This hotel excelled in both areas. When I requested a steamer for my dress, it came within minutes and was, of course, pink! From the branded items in my guest room to the staff calling me by name, it was a pink paradise that I plan to revisit for years to come.
