5 Killed, 7 Injured in Israeli Drone Strike Targeting Gaza Aid Security Teams
By Ahmad El-Assasy At least five Palestinians were killed and seven others injured, some critically, in an Israeli drone strike on Monday targeting a group of humanitarian aid security personnel at Al-Tuwam roundabout in northern Gaza, according to medical sources. The victims were securing the distribution of humanitarian aid when the strike occurred. The wounded were transferred to local hospitals, many in critical condition, as emergency services continue to struggle with limited resources and relentless bombardment. In a separate development, Mahmoud Jawad Ali Al-Durra, a resident of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous Israeli attack on the area. Additionally, nurse Odai Nahid Al-Qar'an, who worked at Al-Aqsa Hospital, was killed after being struck by air-dropped aid crates in the Al-Zawaida area. He was reportedly assisting with the distribution of the aid when he was fatally injured.
