Shah Rukh Khan Cried In Toilet Over KKR's IPL Losses, Told Him To Change Uniform Colours: Numerologist

Shah Rukh Khan's KKR started winning IPL Finals only after changing their jersey colours in 2010. Since the inception of the Indian Premier League in 2008, Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have emerged as one of the most exciting and resilient franchises in the tournament's history. Backed by star power off the field and a legacy of fighting spirit on it, KKR has lifted the IPL trophy three times. Recently, numerologist Swetta Jumaani claimed that the team only started to win after she suggested that they change their jersey colours. Speaking on the YouTube channel Hindi Rush, Swetta said that Shah Rukh sought numerology advice for her IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. She said, 'Shah Rukh Khan is our client for KKR. We changed the uniform of KKR; we told them what colour combinations to take." She added, 'It is because of that that they won three IPL trophies. I had read him talking about how he would cry in the toilet over KKR losing matches in IPL. Then we had suggested to them to change their uniform from black and gold to purple and gold, now they have got three cups." KKR made this change in 2010. For the unversed, KKR has qualified for the IPL Finals four times, and has won three of those times. After several underwhelming seasons, KKR finally found its rhythm in 2012 under Gautam Gambhir's leadership. Facing Chennai Super Kings in the final, KKR chased down a daunting total of 190 runs. This victory marked KKR's maiden IPL title and ended years of inconsistency, redefining the team's brand and belief. Two years later, KKR showcased their consistency by lifting their second trophy against Kings XI Punjab. Once again under Gautam Gambhir's leadership, KKR sealed the win with three wickets and three balls to spare, reaffirming their status as one of the top IPL sides. After a decade-long wait, KKR returned to the winner's circle in 2024 after they bowled out a high-flying Sunrisers Hyderabad for a paltry 113 runs. KKR's captain in the IPL 2024 season was Shreyas Iyer. As of 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders have lost the IPL final only once in 2021 to Chennai Super Kings. The team was captained by Eoin Morgan. LSG announce Bharat Arun as bowling coach

The Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday announced Bharat Arun as their new bowling coach. Arun, who has earned plaudits for his work with the Indian team as a bowling coach in the staff led by Ravi Shastri from 2017 to 2021, joins LSG after a succesfull stint with the Kolkata Knight Riders. 'It's an honour to join the Lucknow Super Giants, a franchise that reflects professionalism, ambition, and vision at every level,' the 62-year-old said in a statement on the franchise's official website. 'My conversations with Dr. Sanjiv Goenka and the management were incredibly energizing – there is a clear intent to invest in young Indian talent and build a long-term legacy. 'What excites me most is the vision for long-term development. LSG has invested in a young, talented, and dynamic group of Indian fast bowlers – Akash deep, Avesh Khan, Mayank Yadav, Prince Yadav, Mohsin Khan, and Akash Singh – and I see immense potential in each of them. My mission is to help shape them into a cohesive, fearless, and tactically sharp pace unit that can challenge the best batting line-ups in the world.' One of the best in the business. He is now a Super Giant ?? — Lucknow Super Giants (@LucknowIPL) July 30, 2025 Arun had been with KKR in the same role for four years. He was part of the coaching staff that powered the team to their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in more than a decade in 2024. However, this was followed by a disappointing eighth-placed finish last season, in which their decision to let go of Shreyas Iyer came under sharp criticism. KKR are rejigging their coaching staff with Abhishek Nayar and Dwayne Bravo all set to call the shots. Hence Chandrakant Pandit and Arun, the two veterans, left the team. LSG are yet to announce if they will retain former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan and former Australia opener Justin Langer as mentor and head coach respectively. Both their contracts are set to end before the start of the 2026 season.
