Newly Single Orlando Bloom Is Out Here Posting About Loneliness

Yahoo20 hours ago
Orlando Bloom is in the "posting cryptic things to Instagram" phase of his breakup, and he seems to be feeling lonely? At least based on a Carl Jung quote the actor posted late Wednesday night, which reads "Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself."
Oh, and another quote for all of us to read into (though Orly didn't share this one directly)? "Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness."
Rumors of Orlando and Katy's split have been swirling for weeks, and a source recently told People that their relationship has been "breaking down the last couple of months" and that while things are "amicable" they "got to a point where they feel there is no going back to a healthy relationship and that it's better to live separate lives."
Another source more recently noted that "Katy and Orlando have been suffering through the same problems that have plagued them for years. [They had] too much going on in their lives, which makes it hard to find time for each other and iron out disagreements. When they don't communicate properly, their relationship dips to a low level."
For what it's worth, neither Katy, Orlando, or their reps have actually confirmed the end of their engagement, so...maybe things could still work out?

Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest results: Miki Sudo wins 11th title, but falls short of record on tough day

It wasn't a record-breaking performance, but Miki Sudo is walking away with yet another hot-dog eating title. Sudo won her 11th Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Friday, taking down 33 hot dogs and buns to pick up yet another win. The victory marks the 11th time in the last 12 years that Sudo has won the women's portion of the event. The only year she failed to win, 2021, was the year she did not participate due to her pregnancy. Sudo defeated Michelle Lesco — who won the event in 2021 — by more than 10 hot dogs. Lesco finished as the runner-up Friday after eating 22 3/4 hot dogs and buns. Advertisement This story will be updated.

Amazon Prime Day 2025 deals you can shop now before the sale kicks off next week

We love a good rocket's red glare as much as the next guy, and this weekend will see the sky lit up with all manner of pyrotechnic wonders, but the fireworks we're really looking forward to? The big bang that is Amazon Prime Day 2025. And not just because it won't scare the bejeesus out of our puppies and kitties, but because this year it's bigger and flashier than ever. You get not one day of savings, or even two days, as was the case with previous Prime Days. Nope; Amazon's bargain-palooza begins Tuesday, July 8, and runs through Friday, July 11. Count 'em: That's four days of deals on everything from tech to beauty and kitchen to clothing. And if you're feeling antsy, you can start your deal hunting a bit early with Amazon's 4th of July sales. Consider them the preview for this sizzling main event. Before the premiere, there's always the teaser, and Amazon is already dropping deals to whet your appetite. While our shopping editors track the standout sales for Prime Day, we've found some previews that are worth checking out. Amazon has already quietly rolled out markdowns across dozens of categories, so consider this your sneak peek before the full feature. If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)
