Bezos Wedding Hysteria

Fox News30-06-2025
Some folks are all up in arms about Bezos' Italian wedding…
I'm Tomi Lahren, more next.
Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos married Lauren Sanchez in Venice over the weekend and the price tag for the star-studded affair is estimated to be in the tens of millions.
Attendees included the Kardashians, Oprah, Leo DiCaprio among many others.
And while the bride, groom and guests appeared to have a lovely time, some are infuriated by the whole thing.
Protesters in the region as well as internet keyboard warriors feel that if Bezos can afford to throw such an extravagant wedding, he should pay more in taxes and spread his wealth.
It's the same tired narrative that those who build successful companies and reap the benefits are somehow EVIL!
I'd remind those bitter folks that Bezos, through Amazon and his other endeavors, employs over a MILLION people not to mention the BILLIONS who use and benefit from his services.
I'd note the same VENOM is NOT directed at his wealthy wedding attendees who make their millions- or even billions- from Hollywood or entertainment…
Why is it Oprah is allowed to be a billionaire but Bezos isn't…..

I'm 5 Feet Tall, and I'm Eyeing These 11 Petite Midi and Maxi Dresses at Amazon, Nordstrom, and More—From $20

As someone five-feet-tall, I know that shopping for a midi-length or maxi dress that won't drag on the ground is, well, a drag. Either you have to spend time (and money) tailoring it, or do some legwork to find stylish petite options from online retailers, considering the right size is rarely in stores. With a few summer vacations on my calendar, I opted for the latter option and browsed through my go-to petite brands to find flattering dresses that fit my frame perfectly. Naturally, I had to share my findings with my fellow petite shoppers, so I rounded up the best maxi and midi dress options from Amazon, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and more. From a $29 travel-friendly knit dress to a European-summer-inspired maxi shirt dress, I found styles for every travel itinerary. Keep reading for 11 of my top picks, starting at $20. You'll never catch me in the airport in a dress above my knees, but now and then, I like to throw on a stylish, comfortable midi dress to elevate my travel look. This Gap ribbed knit option is perfect for exactly that, and with a $29 price tag, I immediately added it to my shopping cart. I opted for the olive green shade, which will seamlessly transition into fall, but it is also available in black, striped, and fuchsia. This sleeveless midi dress is effortlessly chic and looks much more expensive than its $35 price tag. The fitted top is made from a comfortable, smocked knit material, and it's paired with a puffed peplum skirt featuring a flattering drop waistline that helps make your torso appear longer—perfect for petite shoppers. Quince is known for its effortless travel clothing, and this midi tank dress is no exception. The travel-ready piece is made from a breathable, soft cotton blend. One five-foot-two reviewer wrote that "the dress is perfect," adding that it's "simple and sophisticated." This light and airy maxi dress captures the art of summer dressing. It is trimmed with lace detailing and features an embroidered design on the bodice. Now, the hard part is deciding between the classic black shade and the cottagecore-inspired indigo. Considering they're both on sale, I might have to snag both! While this midi dress isn't available in petite sizing, it has adjustable spaghetti straps that allow for a customizable fit. The fit-and-flare dress, which can be easily dressed up or down, features a fitted ribbed bodice with a low scoop back and a flowing skirt. This maxi dress features a similar design to the above option, with a fitted, tank top bodice and an airy skirt, but its high neckline provides a bit more coverage. One five-foot-tall reviewer wrote that it's a 'great length,' and added that they 'loved it so much,' they bought a second color. The best part? It's marked down to just $22 right now, so I'm not missing my opportunity to shop it while it's on sale. This Lands' End petite maxi dress is begging to be worn on a tropical vacation, and its airy, lightweight material will help keep you cool on a hot summer day. It features a stretchy, smocked elastic back and adjustable tie straps, providing additional length customization for the petite dress. I'm not headed to Europe this summer, but if I were, I could easily picture myself strolling the cobblestone streets of Paris in this top-rated breezy shirtdress from The shirred elastic waist provides shape to the flowy silhouette, and it comes with a slip lining underneath the subtly sheer overlay fabric. I can already tell this ultra-comfy jersey maxi dress would become one of my staple travel pieces. It features flattering details, such as a smoothing waistband and a deep V-neck. Plus, the pullover design makes it easy to throw on and go, whether I'm catching an early morning flight or making a quick change before dinner. I can't resist a perfectly tailored dress, and this petite Anthropologie number fits the bill. The casual yet elegant shirt dress features eye-catching details, including a classic collar, exaggerated sleeves, and flattering pleats around the bodice. Additionally, the button-up front allows for a customizable look that can be worn as a dress or paired over a pair of shorts and a classic white tee. This top-rated midi dress is made from a summery, lightweight linen material and has a smocked waistband with a tie at the center and capped sleeves. One reviewer raved that it's 'very flattering and comfortable,' and a five-foot-three shopper wrote that 'the length is perfect.' Right now, the midi is an additional 40 percent off, bringing the price down to $84. Love a great deal? The Boys' final season Comic-Con footage shows a safer nation under Homelander

Every journey has an end, but chances are we won't encounter one as sweary as the final season of The Boys. Amazon's Emmy-winning series, which has mastered turning superheroes into villains, is set to conclude next year, and fans at this year's San Diego Comic-Con were fortunate enough to get a sneak peek of what's coming. Naturally, things don't look promising in this world filled with corrupt crimefighters after members of The Boys were snatched up last season, and Homelander (Antony Starr) seemingly seized complete control of the country, using the U.S. president as his puppet. What will it take to stop the star-spangled psychopath and his plans? Well, help from the younger generation might do the trick, or maybe something supernatural as well. According to a breakdown from Variety, the teaser trailer revealed the usual mix of blood, guts, and questionable liquids, along with some new and familiar faces sprinkled throughout. You know the drill by now, surely? A bloody hairball being thrown up here, a violently unhealthy bathroom trip there. One detail that will excite Supernatural fans, though, is Jared Padalecki showing his loveable mug in the preview, continuing the trend of cast members from showrunner Eric Kripke's previous 15-season show appearing in the Vought-ruled world. Kripke himself confirmed back in May that we would see Padalecki alongside Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy and Misha Collins "all in the same frame together" at some point; we just don't know in what capacity, since Padalecki and Collins' roles still haven't been confirmed. The teaser also hinted at the ongoing crossover between The Boys and its spin-off super-school show, Gen V (whose second season is honestly looking like The Boys season 4.5), thanks to the appearance of one of its model students, Jordan Li (London Thor). Last we saw, they were trapped in an off-the-books facility along with the rest of the rebels in the show's first season, suggesting that they might be helping in the fight back against Vought and its unhinged poster boy here. Speaking of that milk-loving madman, it sounds like Homelander got the real mic drop moment of the teaser, having now taken his new unofficial role as ruler of the country. Declaring the United States as "a safer, more god-fearing nation," we can only expect that things will be anything but by the time the final episode airs. We'll be able to see who gets their cape crumpled and their body in a broken and bloody state when The Boys return to town for the last time in 2026. 'The Boys' season 5 Comic-Con trailer shows glimpse of Jared Padalecki, 'Gen V' crossovers

The footage screened in the room only at Ballroom 20, but here's what was in it. After screening a new Gen V season 2 trailer packed with The Boys crossovers and some new casting, Amazon's Comic-Con panel in Ballroom 20 on Friday afternoon left one major reveal for the very end: the first teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of the mothership series. The Gen V stars and their showrunner, Michele Fazekas, exited the stage, at which point panel host Adam Bourke, who plays Vought filmmaker P.J. Byrne across both shows, announced Amazon would screen the footage in the room only. It's unclear how long fans not in San Diego will have to wait to see it online, but here's what we saw. The first teaser trailer for any season of The Boys or Gen V follows a similar structure: a series of dramatic shots all rapidly cut together, with a few stirring lines of dialogue thrown in the mix. This one was no different. Among the fast flashes of various characters, we saw a first look at Supernatural alum Jared Padalecki in his undisclosed role. It was a single image of Padalecki flashing a charming smile at someone off screen. We also see a glimpse of the actor's Supernatural partner in crime, Jensen Ackles, returning as Soldier Boy. He is still locked in cryogenic slumber, still watched over by Homelander (Antony Starr). We're also expecting Misha Collins on The Boys final season, though we don't see him in the trailer. However, we do know that all three Supernatural bros will share scenes together. Most of the main members of the Boys — Hughie (Jack Quaid), MM (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capone), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) — were all captured by Homelander's supe cronies at the end of season 4. Fazekas, however, teased during the Gen V panel that season 2 of the college-set spinoff will feature cameos from many of The Boys stars to explain what happened to some of them since then. In The Boys season 5 Comic-Con trailer, we find the gang back together, including with Karl Urban's newly supe-charged Butcher and Erin Moriarty's Starlight. Some of the Gen V folks are coming along for the ride. The Boys track down blood-bender Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair) and the gender-shifting Jordan Li (London Thor portrays Jordan's female form in the footage), who watch cautiously from the porch of some house. Beyond that, it's a lot of blood. Some are drenched in it. Some, like Cameron Crovetti's Ryan, now more grown up, have blood smeared on their faces. There are explosions, too, and lots of NSFW supe antics, like one unidentified supe hacking up a disgusting ball from her throat that splatters on Kimiko's cheek. We also get a glimpse of Hamilton and The Little Mermaid star Daveed Diggs in an all-white, Elton John-esque stage outfit, performing what looks to be some kind of musical act. And then there's Ashley (Colby Minifie). Poor, poor Ashley. The camera lingers on her face as her expression slowly transitions from all smiles to utter despair. Another rapid-cut snapshot shows she has just about pulled every single strand of hair off of her head due to stress. "This is a safer, more god-fearing nation!" Homelander shouts like the egomaniacal dictator he has become. "The shows talk to each other, so season 4 of The Boys sets us up in season 2 of Gen V," Fazekas said during the Gen V portion of the panel. "So Homelander has taken over America, and now we get to see what that looks like in the country, what that looks like at the school, and then what the resistance is going to start to look like. And there will be some important cameos. Where are some of these people from The Boys? Where did they end up? So there will answers to that and how they all play into the resistance to Homelander." The Boys season 5 finished filming and will likely premiere in 2026 on Amazon's Prime Video. Gen V season 2's first three episodes premiere Sept. 17.
