Taylor Swift is caught gossiping with Selena Gomez over dinner after finally gaining control of her music empire
Taylor Swift reunited with a veteran member of her celeb gal pal squad, Selena Gomez, for a ladies night out in Midtown Manhattan on Saturday night.
The billionaire pop stars nicknamed 'Taylena' - aged 35 and 32 - enjoyed upscale American fare at Monkey Bar located inside The Hotel Elysee, and the website revealed it was closed for a 'private event' at 6:30pm.
The dimly lit, 1936-established restaurant features murals by caricaturist Charlie Vella, monkey-shaped lamps, and a 20-page wine list.
In a snap published by gossip blog DeuxMoi, Taylor's mouth could be seen hanging open in shock while catching up on gossip from Selena.
Swift looked leggy in a black mini-dress with rhinestone trim and chrome platform heels while Gomez wore a plunging brown halter top beneath a beige pantsuit and copper pumps.

In the Instagram comments, user @marisarissaaa pondered: 'I wonder what Selena told her,' which was liked by 1,239 others.
'Selena is always telling Taylor the surprising [tea],' user @ttaylorweiss commented. 'I love them.'
User @xiorodriguezreyes wrote: 'Honestly it's really sweet that Selena and Taylor have remained friends for so long. Far from just "industry" friends.'
'The world is healing,' user @reagan.baylee agreed.
Indeed, the 14-time Grammy winner and the two-time Grammy nominee originally met in 2008 when they were each dating members of the boyband, Jonas Brothers.
Other fans thought Taylor and Selena were gossiping about Blake Lively, who allegedly blackmailed Swift in February by threatening to release a decade of private text messages if she didn't issue a statement of support amid her Justin Baldoni legal war.
'Dying to know what was said about Blake,' user @nikkicole111 commented.
User @unclejeffk wrote - 'Taylor: "Oh! And do you know what ELSE Blake said?" Selena: "Girl, spill."'
But more likely, Gomez was helping the Fortnight songstress celebrate regaining the masters to her first six studio albums - Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.
Last Friday, the Emilia Pérez actress - who boasts 419M Instagram followers - publicly congratulated Taylor via Instastory: 'Yes you did that Tay! So proud!'

Billboard reported that Swift spent around $360M to buy back her music catalog from Shamrock Capital after 'bully' Scooter Braun sold her masters to the private equity firm in 2020 (a year after buying them from Big Machine).
'I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the carrot dangled and then yanked away,' the Pennsylvania-born belter wrote on her website.
'But that's all in the past now. I've been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found that this is really happening. I really get to say those words. All of the music I've ever made … now belongs… to me.'
Meanwhile, Taylor's NFL beau Travis Kelce was attending the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, KS where he helped raise a record $4.530M for Children's Mercy Hospital.
Swift previously dated Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, Matthew Healy, Calvin Harris, Tom Hiddleston, and Joe Alwyn.
Selena is also a taken woman as she got engaged to 11-time Grammy nominee Benny Blanco on December 10 after 18 months of dating.
Gomez originally met the 37-year-old music producer during a 2008 business meeting when she was only 16, and he went on to work on her second studio album Revival in 2015.
Gomez has been hard at work producing and reprising her role as artist Mabel Mora in the fifth season of Hulu hit series, Only Murders in the Building (pictured May 7 with Steve Martin and Martin Short)
The Call Me When You Break Up singer - who refuses to convert to Benny's Jewish faith - previously dated Drew Taggart, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber.
Selena has been hard at work producing and reprising her role as artist Mabel Mora in the fifth season of Hulu hit series, Only Murders in the Building.
Gomez, creator-star Steve Martin, and Martin Short are said to earn well over $600K/episode to produce and star in the critically-acclaimed who-done-it.
Renée Zellweger, Téa Leoni, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, and Jermaine Fowler have also joined the SAG Award-winning ensemble for season five.

Disney World fan sparks fierce debate after making major complaint about the beloved theme park
Walt Disney World fans have become embroiled in a heated debate about the transportation at the beloved theme park. A new map breaking down the complimentary transportation offered throughout the massive resort has detailed all the ways that the 130 million annual riders can get from park to park. Guests at the Happiest Place on Earth can travel all the way from Magic Kingdom to Epcot on Disney's Monorail - a quick and easy train that goes back and forth between the parks as well as to some of the hotels. Or they can use the 36-boat transportation services in both parks as well as at Disney Springs. To get from Epcot to Disney's Hollywood Studios, people can hop on the Skyliner, which is a gondola lift system. However, the only mode of transportation that touches Animal Kingdom is the free Disney buses - and some fans are not happy about it. After the new map was released, one Disney fan took to Reddit to express their outrage over the lack of options to get to Animal Kingdom. And the post lead to a massive argument about the Disney bus system. 'I'm someone that prefers Skyliner or Monorail transportation so it's really unfortunate that the ONLY way to get to Animal Kingdom right now is by bus,' the user expressed. 'The yellow line [is] there for the Skyliner [and] could easily be extended all the way to Animal Kingdom if they wanted.' They suggested: 'Maybe even have a station at [the hotel] Coronado Springs and [the water park] Blizzard Beach.' 'Having no way to get to Animal Kingdom except driving or taking the bus is really inconvenient and it's weird that it's the only non-water park to only be accessible via bus,' they continued. 'I'm someone that I would visit Animal Kingdom way more if I could just hop over there on the Skyliner from Hollywood Studios. So why is there no Skyliner?' Many other people rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts, and discussed the possibility of Disney adding more transportation to the park. 'I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get some sort of transit line out to Animal Kingdom, but it's gonna take a lot of money and desire to make it happen,' one person wrote. Another added: 'Disney likes to avoid guests seeing the backstage areas. They do a really good job at Epcot to minimize the amount you can see from the Monorail and it is only a few seconds right at the end where you can see backstage.' 'I just went on Google Earth and measured [a] straight line from the [Hollywood] Studios gate to Animal Kingdom gate [which] is a little under two miles,' shared someone else. 'But that wouldn't even be feasible because said straight line is right through the middle of the studios.' Others said they had no problem with the bus and speculated the lack of Monorail or Skyliner transportation was due to the animal enclosures. 'It's literally not that hard. You get on a bus and sit down,' a person wrote. 'You do realize it's not as close as this map makes it look right?' another said. 'Not to mention it would have to be routed to avoid all animal areas,' someone else observed. 'Can you imagine how much trash would be dropped in the animal enclosures?' a different user shared. 'A free bus that runs all day is pretty convenient. I would suspect that the ANIMALS play a big factor into the lack of overhead rails and lifts,' a different comment read. 'We're so spoiled at Disney, honestly. One of the best bus systems in the world and we (including myself sometimes) complain about it,' another user admitted. 'Yeah, 15 to 20 minutes from the Contemporary to Animal Kingdom on a mostly empty bus with the AC set to like 60F didn't exactly seem like a burden during our visit earlier this month. [The] bus is good. Take [the] bus,' a person urged. 'Maybe it's just me but the bus ride to Animal Kingdom is totally reasonable,' someone else penned.

BREAKING NEWS Warren Buffett gives away staggering $6 BILLION
Billionaire Warren Buffett announced that he'll be giving away an additional $6 billion of his company's stock to five different charities, one of which is run by Bill Gates. Buffett, still worth $152 billion, is donating upwards of 12 million shares of Berkshire Hathaway stock to the Gates Foundation and four other foundations controlled by his wife and three children. This marks his biggest charitable contribution since 2006, when he pledged he'd give away the bulk of his fortune before he died. The 94-year-old investor is giving 9.43 million Berkshire Hathaway shares to the Gates Foundation. Another 943,384 shares are being directed to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, the organization named for his wife, who died in 2004. Finally, another 660,366 shares will sent to each of the three charities led respectively by his children Howard, Susie, and Peter: the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, Sherwood Foundation and NoVo Foundation. The donations will be officially made on Monday. Buffett converted 8,239 class A shares - each worth a staggering $730,000 - into 12,358,500 class B shares. The vast majority of those newly created class B shares - worth about $485 apiece - were donated to the five foundations Buffett has been consistently donating to for decades.

G7 strikes deal to shield US multinationals from higher global taxes, FT reports
June 28 (Reuters) - The G7 has reached an agreement that would exempt U.S. multinational companies from paying more corporate tax overseas, the Financial Times reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the discussions. The deal, backed by Washington and other G7 members, would allow U.S. companies to avoid certain overseas taxes due to levies already paid in the United States, the report said.
