Euro 2025: Wales team bus involved in road traffic crash en route to practice
The Welsh Football Association said in a statement all the people involved — players and staff on the bus and in the other vehicle — were unharmed in the incident en route to the stadium in St. Gallen.
Wales coach Rhian Wilkinson travelled separately from the team to the stadium for a news conference one day ahead of Wednesday's game.
'Football is secondary and I think, yes, we are shaken because we are away from the team right now knowing that they've had to experience that,' Wilkinson said in comments reported by the BBC.
FAW said its priority 'has been to remove the players from the scene and return to the Cymru training base to complete their preparations for tomorrow's match.'
Wales plays France in the second Group D game for both at Euro 2025. Wales lost to the Netherlands 3-0 on Saturday and France beat defending champion England 2-1.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Cincinnati Reds left-hander Andrew Abbott is an All-Star after all. NEW YORK (AP) — Las Vegas star A'ja Wilson injured her right wrist on a drive to the basket Tuesday night against the New York Liberty and left the game midway through the second quarter. The three-time MVP had a quiet first half before getting hurt with 4:13 left in the period. Wilson drove down the lane and landed awkwardly. She was on the floor for a few minutes as her Aces teammates rushed over to her side. Wilson got up and walked to the Las Vegas bench to an ovation from the Barclays Center crowd. Wilson made the first of two free throws — her only point of the half. She departed with 2:22 left in the half and headed to the locker room. She missed all three of her shot attempts but had four rebounds and two assists. Wilson came in averaging 21.9 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists. Earlier in the night, Wilson was selected by Caitlin Clark to play on her team at the All-Star Game on July 19 in Indianapolis.
