Local Authorities & Security agencies in Al-Mahwit deny mercenaries' claims about drug Factory transfer
The local authority and security agencies in Al-Mahwit province strongly condemned the false statements made by the so-called "Muthahar Al-Sha'abi," appointed as director of the so-called Aden Security, in which he alleged the transfer of a drug factory from Syria to Al-Mahwit province.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the local authority and security agencies affirmed that these claims are entirely baseless and divorced from reality. They emphasized that such allegations are part of a deceptive media campaign promoted by mercenaries and collaborators of the American-Saudi aggression, aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Al-Mahwit province and its free people, who have long been known for their religious, moral, and national values.
The statement pointed out that these cheap lies are a desperate attempt to cover up the security chaos , rampant drug trade and abuse in the occupied areas under the control of mercenaries, which have become a haven for organized crime with clear complicity from their leaders and security apparatus.
The local authority and security agencies in Al-Mahwit reiterated that the province enjoys security , stability and continues its relentless efforts to combat all forms of crime. They stressed that Al-Mahwit will never be allowed to become a breeding ground for chaos or malicious rumors.

Trump Administration Calls on UN to Dismiss UN Rapporteur Francesca Albanese over Palestine Report
New York – SABA: The administration of former U.S. President Donald Trump has officially requested the United Nations to dismiss Francesca Albanese from her role as UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, accusing her of 'antisemitism and supporting terrorism.' The demand came after Albanese published a report accusing over 60 companies—including major arms manufacturers and tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon—of supporting Israeli settlements and the genocide in Gaza. Albanese's report is scheduled to be presented on Thursday in Geneva. The U.S. Mission to the United Nations issued a statement condemning the report, accusing Albanese of launching an 'economic war' against American and international companies by exposing their involvement in the Israeli occupation's crimes in Palestine. The statement accused her of sending 'threatening letters to dozens of global entities, including major U.S. companies,' alleging their complicity in 'gross human rights violations, apartheid, and genocide.' It added that such actions constitute 'an unacceptable political and economic campaign against the U.S. and global economy,' and described her reports on Israel as 'false and offensive.' The statement further warned that 'continued failure to act will not only undermine the credibility of the United Nations but will also necessitate significant steps in response to Ms. Albanese's misconduct.' Despite U.S. objections, the United Nations reappointed Albanese to her position earlier this year. She is widely known for her strong criticisms of Israel. Houthi Attack on Israel Prompts Huckabee Call for US Airstrike in Yemen
US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee called for American airstrikes on Yemen after Israeli defenses shot down a missile fired by Houthi fighters toward Jerusalem late Tuesday. The interception was the first of its kind since the US-led bombing campaign against Iran began last month. 'We thought we were done with missiles coming to Israel, but Houthis just lit one up over us in Israel,' Huckabee wrote on social media. 'Maybe those B-2 bombers need to visit Yemen!' His remarks came a little over a week after US B-2 stealth bombers carried out Operation Midnight Hammer, a strike that President Donald Trump hailed as a 'historic military success,' declaring the targeted Iranian nuclear facilities 'completely obliterated.' Pentagon officials said more than 30 tons of munitions were dropped in the raid, which relied on the Air Force's small fleet of 20 B-2s. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz signaled that Yemen could be next in line. 'The law of Yemen is the law of Tehran,' he warned. 'After we strike the head of the serpent in Tehran, we will also strike the tail of the serpent in Yemen.' Tension with Yemen resurfaced only weeks after Washington reached a short-lived arrangement with the Houthis: the group agreed to stop attacking US naval vessels in return for a pause in American strikes on Houthi positions. Tuesday's launch appears to have unraveled that deal. Although Huckabee has stressed that he does not set policy, his fiery post points to growing pressure within the US-Israel partnership to hit Iranian-backed groups harder across the region.
