Kalispell Police officers spoke with the owner of the expressive rooster, who said she would get rid of it within the week. Someone allegedly found a parrot on the wild streets of Kalispell. A woman reportedly headbutted someone's daughter. A man allegedly woke up and was startled by a drunk man on the couch. The stranger moved on to the apartment complex's laundry room. Police received a call from a woman wondering about the department's policy in "handling subjects with diplomatic immunity" and wanted an officer to call to verify her immunity status. A man went to the hospital after his allegedly jammed gun went off. He shot himself in the hand. A manager flagged down an officer, pointing to a red Subaru with a shattered windshield in the parking lot, saying he wanted it gone. A woman sitting inside the building reportedly complained, saying she just got there and was being "profiled." The officer advised her she had a suspended license and shouldn't be driving but needed to have the car moved. A woman's son reportedly threw a soda at her and hit her in the face. A woman cut off a green Ford hatchback that allegedly started tailgating her, trying to run her off the road. A transient reportedly set up a camp with a "blanket hut" and a shopping cart by an overpass. A dealership allegedly refused to return a $500 deposit.
