Gupta shared a post on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) in which she criticised Prada. '500 rupee chappal sold for 1 lakh, without any credit! Superman' box office collections day 17: James Gunn's film stays the course; soars past Rs 3600 Cr globally

James Gunn's Superman (3D) is showing no signs of slowing down globally. With a whopping worldwide gross of Rs 3603.76 crore, the film has become one of the standout performers of the year internationally. In India, while the total net collection stands at Rs 47.95 crore, the movie has earned an estimated gross of Rs 57.26 crore, as reported by the Sacnilk website. Regional versions contribute The film's dubbed Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi versions have shown patchy performances in contrast. Telugu has collected Rs 1.67 crore so far, with the early days contributing the bulk. Tamil fared similarly with Rs 1.84 crore net, where the peak was mostly during the first weekend. The Hindi version has pulled in Rs 9.65 crore so far, thanks to support from Hindi-speaking metros and decent Sunday traction during the first two weekends. Although numbers started tapering off post Day 10, the Hindi audience has shown a steady trickle. Strong start, predictable dip, and weekend revival 'Superman' launched with Rs 7.25 crore on day 1 and picked up further on its first Saturday with Rs 9.5 crore. The film saw a minor drop on Sunday but maintained momentum, closing its opening weekend with Rs 26 crore. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Casa Maquista chefs explore turmeric's essence in Macanese cuisine. Though far from record-breaking, 'Superman's numbers reflect a stable theatrical presence, aided by Gunn's fresh take on the DC universe and a cast that brings renewed energy to familiar capes. With a few more days of run ahead, the film may inch closer to the Rs 50 crore milestone in India. The film features David Corenswet as the iconic Superman alongside Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult , Isabela Merced , Nathan Fillion , Anthony Carrigan, and Edi Gathegi in prominent roles. Netflix's 'Aap Jaisa Koi' actress Fatima Sana Shaikh teams up with 'Saiyaara' star Aneet Padda for their next project: "There are huge plans to make..."

A source told Bollywood Hungama, 'Aneet is a big screen heroine for YRF. Nyaya was shot before she signed Saiyaara and it has no bearing on her career trajectory as a theatrical heroine going forward. A girl who is delivering probably a Rs. 400 crores hit in theatres, is a true Gen Z star at the age of just 22, will be preserved for theatricals. There are huge plans to make her the face of a generation and that can be achieved only by consolidating her theatrical equity.' STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD About Fatima Sana Shaikh In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Firstpost, when Fatima Sana Shaikh too spoke on gender pay gap and for things to change, audiences need to accept women led films. She said, 'Finally, there are women who are asking for what they deserve, and that is commendable because to voice it and to even receive that was like a dream. And, you know, these are the women like Deepika Padukone who are paving paths for us so that tomorrow when we are in that position, we won't obviously think twice to get our due.' On working with Anurag Basu I didn't get to interact with other characters a lot. I largely interacted with Sara Khan and Ali Fazal that you've seen in the trailer also. So, I didn't unfortunately get to share the screen with all of these other actors that I'm a huge fan of. The best thing about Anurag (dada) is that you are not bound by the script and you know what you're getting into. So, you learn a lot when you go to the set. Even if there is a climax scene, even if there is a hectic scene, you come to know about it in the morning. And you just go with the flow. Whatever comes on your way, you just figure it out. You try to be as honest as possible. And that's what we all did, and there is, you know, significant fun in that too.
