Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz look loved up in photos that ‘sparked family feud rumours' after missing David's 50th

BROOKLYN Beckham and Nicola Peltz look smitten in a new fashion campaign after the shoot sparked rumours of a family feud.
The pair flew to London for the advertising campaign in May, days after snubbing his dad David's 50th birthday celebrations.

It came after they missed David's 50th party in Miami, his fishing trip with his Cruz and Romeo, an intimate dinner at their Cotswolds home and his star-studded birthay bash in London.
Sources said the snub was a "dagger to the heart" for his parents.
Two weeks later the couple, who live in Los Angeles, jetted to London for the Moncler shoot but failed to meet up with Brooklyn's family.
The photos for the Italian fashion brand have finally been released and show Brooklyn snuggling into Nicola in a series of romantic moments.
The Sun revealed they landed the six figure deal with the designer firm and shot the photos minutes away from the Beckhams' home in West London.
They were also up the road from where David was, attending the Chelsea Flower Show with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
An insider said at the time: 'Brooklyn and David couldn't have been closer in distance.
'It strikes a chord knowing how close in distance Brooklyn was to David given how tense their relations have been recently.
'Brooklyn was filming five minutes away by car.'
Rumours about a feud with the Beckham clan and Nicola, 30, have circulated since her £3million wedding to Brooklyn, 26, in Florida.
Brooklyn Beckham's family rift deepens as he turns back on UK by splashing out £11m on LA mansion with wife Nicola Peltz
Since then, the alleged clash has intensified after Brooklyn snubbed all four parties that were thrown for his ex-footballer dad David to celebrate his birthday.
This week, more upset was caused when photos were shared showing Brooklyn enjoying a party for his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz's birthday.
NICOLA HITS BACK
Nicola wrote how "lucky" she was to be his daughter before adding that he provided them with "constant love and support".
Now Brooklyn and his family's fans have waded in.
The post received backlash from Beckham supporters, with some accusing Nicola of "controlling her husband.
However, there were also supportive messages, with one fan writing: "The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd.
"The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything."
Nicola then was seen "liking" the comment, as she agreed with what the fan was saying.
In another twist, Brooklyn was recently backed by his godfather Sir Elton John.
Aspiring chef Brooklyn posted a photo with wife Nicola last week, which got Elton's approval.
Elton wrote: 'Happy Anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple,' followed by love hearts, and his husband David added his own comment, which read: 'Happy Anniversary to the gorgeous couple.'
Elton is Brooklyn's godfather and they're very close, regularly going on trips abroad together over the years.
Both Victoria and David failed to comment on or like their son's anniversary post.
It was recently revealed that the situation has become so severe that Brooklyn is no longer on speaking terms with his siblings.
This week The Sun revealed David was in hospital for a secret operation on his wrist.
Wife Victoria shared a pic from his hospital bedside, writing "get well soon daddy".

Such Brave Girls season two review – this Bafta-winning comedy is startlingly brilliant

There's a scene early on in the first series of Such Brave Girls that sums the whole thing up nicely. Josie – a millennial not long out of a mental health crisis, now just in a general, all-encompassing life crisis – has helped her sister to bleach her hair. Unfortunately, she has neglected to tell Billie that the plastic bag she put over her head has left a massive, Shrek-green Asda logo on the dye job. Billie – who alternates between sweetly naive and absolutely petrifying, with little warning – lunges at Josie and smothers her new dress in ketchup, before threatening to kill herself. The girls' mother will later attempt to return said dress to the shop – stains and all – feigning tears as she tells the shop assistant how much debt she's in. Suffice to say, Such Brave Girls isn't a wholesome coming-of-age affair. It is, however, a brilliant, startlingly feral comedy, one which scooped the scripted comedy Bafta last year (previous winners include Derry Girls, This Country and Peep Show). The subject matter – suicide, abortion, financial ruin, deep-seated abandonment issues – sounds like the stuff of sadcoms. But what makes it stand out in a post-Waller-Bridge world is that it is an unashamed sitcom, with a regular cast and recurring gags. Think The Inbetweeners, if it had it been written by Julia Davis. It is, in fact, from the twisted mind of Kat Sadler, who plays Josie alongside her real-life sister Lizzie Davidson as Billie; the show, in particular the mental health and debt parts, are loosely based on their own lives. (There is an Inbetweeners connection, though: Simon Bird, AKA Will, is the director.) Along with Sadler and Davidson, Louise Brealey completes the troubled triad as their mum, Deb, who is just as – if not more – self-absorbed and unstable than her daughters (staunchly anti-therapy, at one point she declares that it is only 'for celebrities'). Broke thanks to a runaway husband and cosplaying as a widow, Deb pins all her hopes on rich boyfriend Dev (Paul Bazely), 'our Willy Wonka ticket out of fucking hell' and an actual widower. Billie, meanwhile, is both impressively nonchalant – she pitches up at an abortion clinic in the witch's outfit from her job at Kidz Cauldron – and dangerously obsessed with on-off boyfriend Nicky (Sam Buchanan). If Billie often feels like Blanche DuBois for the TikTok generation, Josie is a more muted presence. Controlled by her sister, mother and a boyfriend she can't stand (because she's secretly queer), she is often afforded only a supporting role in her own life story. Series two arrives with only a smattering of preview episodes and a spoiler list that makes writing about it feel like navigating a hallway blocked by lasers. What I can say, though, is that it's excellent, and that Josie is still completely overpowered: episode one begins with Deb and Billie forcibly removing her from an art school lecture and sticking a bag over her head to get her to comply with their latest scheme. Still repulsed by the idea of having any sort of sexual contact with Seb (Freddie Meredith), Josie becomes fixated on a fellow student, a girl named Charlie. What unfolds takes us to even darker places than series one. Sadler's performance during Josie's long-awaited NHS mental health assessment, in particular, is at once terrifyingly unpredictable and a complete hoot. Billie says of her sister's unconvincing display of sanity: 'Your mouth's doing the right thing, but your eyes are trying to call the Samaritans.' Not that she is doing much better, having embarked on an inadvisable affair with an older man named Graham (he told her he wasn't married, she told him she was 15), launching herself at him at every opportunity then rebranding herself as a sugar baby when he pays her to leave him alone. Deb's mental state is disintegrating, too, along with her finances, and we see her careening to the supermarket on a scooter, card declined at the till. The rest of the cast remain just as compellingly pathetic, and the decision to make Seb and Dev co-workers at a banal, Wernham Hogg-esque office is a neat trick to guarantee enough screen time for both. Such Brave Girls won't be to everyone's tastes. In fact, there are plenty of people I can imagine not rolling about at lines like 'I heard she gets a smear test every week just so someone has to look at her vagina', or revelling in the sheer lack of empathy that every single character here has for one another. But if you like your comedy scary, lairy and perfectly portioned, it is a total knockout. Josie is pretty brave, but Sadler is even braver. Such Brave Girls aired on BBC Three and is on iPlayer now

Dennis Rodman's loved-up daughter Trinity gazes at tennis star boyfriend Ben Shelton during his Wimbledon match

US Soccer star Trinity Rodman lovingly gazed at tennis star boyfriend Ben Shelton from her front-row seat during his second-round Wimbledon matchup on Thursday. Dennis Rodman's daughter and the American tennis dynamo hard-launched their relationship in March, a few months after Shelton competed in the Australian Open. Last month, Trinity was also in attendance at the French Open, watching her man make a run to the Round of 16, departing the field after a loss to Carlos Alcaraz at Roland Garros before his all-time classic against Jannik Sinner. In London, Rodman wore a stripped, long-sleeve shirt, not adhering to the all-white clothing requirement given to Shelton and the rest of the competitors. As Shelton came near his girlfriend in between points, as she looked up at him in admiration, believing he could do no wrong. Shelton, the No 10 seed, was well on his way to winning his match on Thursday against Australian Rinky Hijikata before play was suspended, one game away from the American being triumphant. The match will continue Friday morning with Shelton up 6-2, 7-5, 5-4, with the likely little work needed to advance to the final 32 in men's singles being a nuisance. Rodman, far from a bother, is dealing with a back injury and has no timeline for a return to the field. That is why she is not in camp with the United States women's national team, which defeated Canada 3-0 last night in Washington DC. Shelton is part of the current American renaissance, alongside Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul, and Taylor Fritz, chasing the likes of Sinner, Alcaraz, and Novak Djokovic for major titles. With plenty of upsets already taking place in the men's singles draw at Wimbledon, the stars could align for a first major title for Shelton, only five wins away.

New Meghan allegations are dynamite, they prove she sees Prince Harry as a stepping stone, expert says

BOMBHSELL allegations swirling around Meghan Markle are "dynamite" and "prove she saw Harry as a stepping stone", an expert claimed. Esteemed royal biographer Phil Dampier shared his opinions on the latest claims made by Sally Bedell Smith, the late Queen, and her closest confidants. 9 9 9 He sat down on the Royal Exclusive show with The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson, alongside co-guest Esther Okraku. According to "very well respected royal biographer" Bedell Smith, Queen Elizabeth II had shared her alleged doubts over the new Duchess, and feared Harry was "weak". Mr Dampier said the author was extremely close to Lady Elizabeth Anson, who was a confidante and a cousin of the Queen. "And Liza Shockley, as Sally Smith likes to call her, she was speaking to the Queen on a regular basis right up until her death, spoke to her every day, even in lockdown," he continued. Mr Dampier claimed, therefore, this meant information had come "right from the horse's mouth". He also alleged "we can trust this information", which is "very, very telling". In harsh comments, he the expert shared his thoughts: "And to be honest, it confirms what we'd already suspected that you know, that at first the Queen was very keen on Meghan." Mr Dampier further alleged the Queen's reported "doubts" about Meghan "ruined her close relationship with Harry". Bedell Smith also claimed Meghan was rude to the late Queen for 10 minutes over wedding details. "She remarked that Harry was perhaps a little bit too much in love, was possibly besotted and a bit weak and being manipulated by Meghan," he continued. Sharing his own opinions, Mr Dampier added: "I think, unfortunately, that confirms what I've been saying or thought for the last few years that, sadly, Meghan never really had any intention of staying in the royal family. "She saw as a stepping stone getting married to to Harry to to to new fame and fortune. "And I think that's what initially Prince William was concerned about. And that's why they fell out. And now we are where we are. But to have this confirmed by somebody so close to the Queen is, is is really dynamite." 9 9 9 Fellow expert, Esther Okraku, echoed these strong opinions and added how there's a "thread of commonality" regarding allegations clouding Meghan. She touched on previous comments made by King Charles that Harry was "whipped". "I think she was welcomed, like much of the country, with open arms," Ms Okraku continued. "I think where things went wrong was clearly the cultural clash. "And I think in some ways Meghan thought she was marrying a billionaire, but was marrying a millionaire, with like sort of a reduced status. So that might have been, not appealing eventually." This comes as for the first time, the Queen's private concerns have been made public in heartbreaking detail — showing just how perceptive she proved to be. This week Sally published 'explosive' revelations made to her by one of Her Majesty's closest confidantes, her first cousin once removed, Lady Elizabeth Anson, in several conversations in 2018 and 2019. Lady Elizabeth claimed there were serious concerns in the upper echelons of the Palace, long before Harry and Meghan made themselves royal pariahs. Just days before the wedding, she had told Sally: 'We hope but don't quite think [Meghan] is in love. 'We think she engineered it all.' She added: 'It's worrying that so many people are questioning whether Meghan is right for Harry. 'The problem, bless his heart, is that Harry is neither bright nor strong, and she is both." In another exchange, Lady Elizabeth said: 'I don't trust Meghan an inch. "Meghan could turn into nothing but trouble.' The shock revelations were released this week in Sally's Royals Extra feature on publishing platform Substack. The observations by Lady Elizabeth, who died from lung cancer in November 2020 aged 79, show the warning signs were there from the start — and proved well-founded. She said Meghan had initially appeared 'natural, intelligent and thoughtful' after getting engaged to Harry in 2017. But as their wedding approached, they both caused a stir with their poor behaviour — and blatant disrespect for the Queen. Harry was reportedly 'rude to her for ten minutes' in one meeting and upset her by asking the Archbishop of Canterbury to perform the wedding service in May 2018, without first seeking permission from the Dean of Windsor. As a high-society event planner herself, Lady Elizabeth — who was born at Windsor Castle in 1941 and was also King George VI's goddaughter — understood all too well just what an embarrassing situation this put the Queen in. She said at the time: 'Harry seems to think the Queen can do what she wants, but she can't. "On the religious side, it is the Dean of Windsor's jurisdiction.' She added that as a result, 'Harry has blown his relationship with his grandmother.' They did later 'patch things up' — but the hurt remained. As for Meghan, allegations of her 'diva-like' behaviour in the run-up to her big day are nothing new. Indeed, at the time, it was rumoured that she had been nicknamed 'Me-gain' by Palace courtiers, thanks to her extensive demands, and among her many complaints, had moaned about the 'musty' smell in the chapel. In 2018 she told Sally that Meghan had rattled the Queen days before the wedding, revealing: 'They had tea with her the day before yesterday. 'She was trying to find out about the wedding dress, and Meghan wouldn't tell her.' This was enough to spark concern in the Palace, with hushed fears brewing that Meghan could 'turn into nothing but trouble' and that — despite royal protocol — 'she sees things in a different way'. As Sally revealed this week: 'I asked her if Meghan was being bossy. 'So I gather,' Lady Elizabeth replied. 'Very much so.'' The biographer continued: 'By late February 2019 when Liza [Lady Elizabeth's nickname] and I spoke on the phone, she said, 'I don't trust Meghan an inch. To begin with, she was not bad — a straightforward starlet, used to public speaking and charity work. 'The wedge between the brothers is really too bad.'' Sadly, the wedge only widened the gap. In January 2020, Harry and Meghan announced they had chosen to 'transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution'. At first, it seemed they wanted to keep one foot in the royal fold, while pursuing financial opportunities on the outside. But after months of negotiations, the Queen and the then Prince Charles laid down the law — they were either fully in or fully out. There was no in-between. The couple opted for the latter and moved to the US later that year, infamously launching a crusade of Palace-bashing and com- plaints against the royals in the aftermath. 9 9 9
