V-Green introduces EV charging station partnership opportunities in the Philippines: Stable Revenue – Zero Risk
V-Green charging stations are currently in operation in Vietnam.
Under this model, V-Green seeks to collaborate with property owners who meet the required site criteria, with no upfront investment required from partners. V-Green will cover the full cost of equipment installation, three-phase electrical connection, and 24/7 operation and maintenance. Partners benefit from a revenue-sharing arrangement, unlocking the potential of underutilized real estate while enjoying reliable returns. With a minimum lease term of five years, the model ensures zero financial risk and no operational burden for participating partners.
V-Green is currently prioritizing locations in Metro Manila, Cebu City, and Davao, with site areas ranging from 30 to 1,000 square meters. Ideal sites are easy to access and recognize, close to three-phase power sources, and have a solid concrete foundation suitable for charger installation.
'We believe that EV charging stations will become a standard feature across all types of real estate developments in the Philippines within the next five years,' said Mr. Luu Viet Hung, CEO of V-Green Philippines. 'With our flexible business model and advanced technological platform, V-Green is committed to working hand-in-hand with local partners to deliver smart EV charging infrastructure — a solution that not only enhances property value but also drives the country's transition toward a greener future.'
In addition to directly investing in its own charging stations, V-Green also plans to introduce a franchise model in the Philippines. This approach, which has already proven successful in Vietnam, enables broader market participation while accelerating network coverage. V-Green currently operates over 150,000 charging ports nationwide in Vietnam through a combination of self-operated and franchised stations. Further details on the franchise opportunity in the Philippines will be announced soon.
Partnering with V-Green is more than just leasing land — it's an opportunity to become part of a thriving green tech ecosystem. Site owners can maximize existing assets without the need for capital expenditure or technical operations. V-Green takes full responsibility for deployment, maintenance, and operations, ensuring seamless integration and optimized cost-efficiency.
Installing EV charging stations also drives increased customer traffic and dwell time, boosting revenue for adjacent services such as retail, food & beverage, and utilities. Moreover, the presence of a V-Green station enhances the modern, eco-conscious image of the property, offering a clear competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving market where sustainability is increasingly prioritized by consumers.

Stock market today: S&P 500 ekes out new record amid wave of earnings, trade updates
US stocks closed mixed Tuesday, but the benchmark S&P 500 (^GSPC) was able to eke out a new record as Wall Street digested a new batch of earnings, including a tariff warning from General Motors (GM), while also weighing the latest trade developments. The S&P closed just above the flat line to secure the fresh all-time high of 6,309.62. The Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) dropped around 0.4% ahead of Big Tech earnings, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) rose 0.4%. Markets bounced off earlier losses after President Trump announced a new trade deal with the Philippines, in a potential sign that more positive developments on the trade front could be on the horizon. So far, the market has proven resilient in the face of tariff uncertainty, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hitting fresh record closes on Monday. Earnings season has been largely upbeat, buoying stocks and sentiment — though the market is now weighing how far the recent rally can run. Earnings results from a wave of companies on Tuesday were mixed. The stocks of General Motors (GM), Philip Morris (PM), RTX (RTX), and Lockheed Martin (LMT) sank after their quarterly results disappointed Wall Street. General Motors reported that its core profit sank over 32% in the second quarter as tariff headwinds sapped $1.1 billion from its results. The Big Three automaker warned the hit would be deeper in the current quarter, providing food for thought to investors assessing the impact of President Trump's trade policy. Read more: Full earnings coverage in our live blog At the same time, Wall Street awaits second-quarter results from "Magnificent Seven" members Alphabet (GOOGL, GOOG) and Tesla (TSLA) on Wednesday. As the valuation of large-cap tech stocks soars, investors are hoping for reassurance that the hype around AI is more than just buzz. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking on trade. Trump's August 1 deadline to strike a deal or raise tariffs is fast approaching but progress remains elusive. Talks with India are reportedly deadlocked, while negotiations with the European Union continue to stall. There is some movement on China. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said he'll meet his Chinese counterpart next week in Stockholm with discussions expected to include a possible extension of the August 12 deadline to avoid sharply higher tariffs. Dear QuantumScape Stock Fans, Mark Your Calendars for July 23
Closeup of EV being charged by Solarseven via iStock In a dramatic return to center stage, QuantumScape (QS) has reignited Wall Street's interest ahead of its next earnings release. On July 18, the stock soared to a fresh 52-week high of $15.03, marking a 7.7% intraday gain. Shares have soared more than 215% in the last month, so all eyes will be on its second-quarter report after market close on Wednesday, July 23. More News from Barchart The initial catalyst that sparked its recent rally was the integration of its Cobra separator process into baseline cell production. News of this technical step forward prompted a 31% stock jump the very next day. Given that QuantumScape remains in a pre‑revenue phase, the breakthrough signals tangible momentum. As capital continues to pour in, the question becomes not whether the firm can deliver, but when revenue will begin to flow. Thus, Q2 results will be watched closely. About QuantumScape Stock QuantumScape, headquartered in San José, California, is building the future of electric vehicle power with its next‑generation solid‑state lithium‑metal batteries. At a market cap of $7 billion, the company counts big backers including Bill Gates and the Qatar Investment Authority, while Volkswagen (VWAGY) holds a material ownership stake. Over the past three months, QS has exploded 253%, and in the past month alone risen 220%. That premium shows in valuation. QS now trades at roughly 7.4 times its book value, a lofty level for a pre-revenue company. But with battery breakthroughs underway and investor capital backing its runway, many believe that traditional valuations give way to future potential. A Closer Look at QuantumScape's Q1 Earnings On April 23, QuantumScape unveiled its Q1 2025 earnings, which, despite its pre‑revenue status, carried encouraging developments. The company reported a net loss of $114.4 million, narrowing from $120 million in the year-ago period. Its adjusted EBITDA loss and operating losses both also narrowed year over year. At the end of Q1, QuantumScape reported $860 million in liquidity, giving it a runway well into the second half of 2028. For a pre-revenue company in a capital-intensive industry, this is a reassuring buffer. This will also allow the company to reach key milestones, including field testing set for 2026, without raising immediate funding.

Electric car move that could save Aussies $1,500 as 'one big snag' revealed
Got a new set of wheels on your mind? Well, you're not alone. Over a third of Australians (38.1 per cent) plan to make a new car purchase in the next three years, according to new research from Compare the Market. The majority (56.5 per cent) are looking to buy a petrol or diesel car. But motorists willing to try a hybrid or EV may be able save close to a grand or more each year by avoiding the petrol pump and taking advantage of green loan offers. RELATED Electric vehicle warning as BYD records biggest month of sales in Australia Common neighbour problem plaguing Aussie houses Major inflation change following RBA's shock interest rate decision Compare the Market publishes its Australian Car Ownership Index each year to help motorists understand the cost of purchasing and keeping a car on the road by analysing three popular car models. This year's research shows motorists could save almost $1,000 by choosing a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid over a petrol-only Mitsubishi Outlander. Australians who opt for the full electric BYD Sealion 7 could save nearly $1,500 per year when charged at home on the average single tariff electricity plan. These are big, long-term cost-of-living wins if you are looking for a new car, and these are just fuel cost savings. Some car loan lenders offer discounted interest rates for certain hybrid and electric vehicles. The savings on interest achieved through a better rate could add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars over time. With nearly a third of motorists (28.1 per cent) planning to purchase their next car through a car loan, this could be an important consideration. ICE vs HEV vs BEV ownership cost comparison Mitsubishi Outlander Exceed AWD (ICE) Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Cruiser 2WD (HEV) BYD Sealion 7 Premium (BEV) Purchase price (upfront) $57,050 drive-away $55,088 drive-away $56,780 drive-away Car loan repayment (five-year term) $13,147 $12,379 $12,722 Annual servicing (average of first five visits) $340.00 $270.00 $351.40 Fuel/charging $2,247.75 $1,304.25 $778.08 Comprehensive car insurance (average) $1,827.10 $1,978.27 $1,840.25 Registration and CTP (QLD) $708.35 $708.35 $646.70 Total cost per year $18,270.40 $16,640.07 $16,338.83 Owning a car can be expensive, but choosing a more fuel-efficient hybrid or full electric model can help to significantly reduce some costs. With new brands delivering greater choice and supply of hybrids, I think more motorists will be looking to green vehicles as a cost-effective next-car option. Not only do EV owners save on petrol, they may also be eligible to take advantage of green loan offers from banks that can help reduce repayments and save on interest. Regular loan rates and green loan interest rates could vary as much as 2.5 per cent. If you're looking at a novated lease, eligible employees and business owners can take advantage of the government's fringe benefits tax exemption for select electric cars – which could mean saving hundreds in your back pocket. But there's one big snag all owners do need to look out for, and that's insurance. We found a difference of thousands of dollars between premiums for all three car models. Be sure to always shop around for a better deal — whether it's for fuel, electricity or car insurance. Don't park yourself into higher prices.
