
NDA parties celebrate Good Governance anniversary
Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Jana Sena district president and Livestock Development Agency chairman Shaik Reyaz, Mayor Gangada Sujatha, PDCC Bank chairman Dr K Sitaramaiah, Janasena leader Kandi Ravi Sankar, and other TDP, JSP, and BJP leaders joined together at the NTR Statue at Addanki Bus Stand Centre in Ongole on Wednesday, and cut a cake as part of the celebration of the 'Good Governance' anniversary.
They said that the NDA government under the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is providing welfare-based rule, and is addressing the public issues, while struggling to create revenue, bearing with thousands of crores of rupees' loan burden bestowed by the earlier YSRCP government.
They assured that the Chandrababu Naidu government is known for the welfare and development of all sections in society, and announced that the Ammaku Vandanam, Annadatha, and the free travel for women in RTC buses would be launched very soon.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP Prakasam district leaders organised rallies and submitted representations to the local tahsildars and RDOs at their respective headquarters of assembly constituencies.
In Ongole, YSRCP in-charge Chuduri Ravi Babu and other leaders participated in a rally from the Ambedkar Bhavan to the RDO office and submitted a representation of demands to the officer. At Darsi, the local MLA and the district president, Dr Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy, ZP Chairperson Buchepalli Venkayamma, while at Yerragondapalem, the local MLA T Chandrasekhar and others conducted a rally and submitted the representation of demands.

Kovelakuntla (Nandyal district): Road sand Buildings Minister BC Janardhan Reddy criticised Opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during a public meeting in Gulladurthi village on Wednesday, as part of the 'First step towards good governance' initiative. He questioned Jagan's leadership, citing an incident where a person died after being hit by the YSRCP chief's convoy, noting Jagan's failure to offer condolences. He accused the former CM of fostering lawlessness, contrasting it with the coalition government's focus on development and welfare. The Minister highlighted the government's achievements, stating that politics was set aside post-election to prioritise development without vendettas. Janardhan Reddy compared the coalition's one-year achievements to the YSRCP's five-year rule, claiming superior progress. He noted Rs 1,060 crore spent on modernising roads and procuring 68 lakh metric tons of paddy with payments to farmers within 24 hours. Over Rs 11 lakh crore in investments and jobs for six lakh people were attributed to CM Chandrababu Naidu's credibility, attracting companies like Google, TCS, Reliance, and Cognizant. Locally, Reddy announced Rs 60 lakh invested in Gulladurthi, including Rs 20 lakh for cement roads and Rs 20 lakh for a free mineral water plant to improve public health. He promised to fulfill all commitments to the village and thanked the women for their support, stating, 'Your blessings are my strength.'

Polavaram will be completed by December 2027: Nimmala
Nellore: Water Resources Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu stated that Polavaram Project will be completed by 2027 December. On Wednesday, he inaugurated the newly constructed road with Rs 1.2 crore between Kotha Sivalayam - Indiramma Colony in Kavali town along with Minister P Narayana and Kavali MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy. Later addressing the gathering, Minister Rama Naidu said that Polavaram Project works are under progress in various stages with financial assistance from the Central government, which will be completed in a time bound manner. The Minister said the State is zooming fast towards the development under leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as he is striving hard in that aspect. Minister Narayana criticised that the State economy was seriously affected leading the government exchequer almost to become empty due to implementation of mindless decisions by the previous YSRCP government during its five-year tenure. He said now the State has been gradually recovering from the losses with the initiative of the CM creating wealth through implementation of several innovative concepts in the interest of stabilising State economy.

Spontaneous response to STA: Min Nararyana
Nellore: Public representatives of the district have received spontaneous response from the public during door-to-door campaign under the State government's 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu' (STA) programme launched across the district on Wednesday. Minister P Narayana participated in the programme at Yalamavaridinne of 16th division Nellore city, Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy at Musthapuram area in Atmakur town, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy in Butchireddy Palem town, and Nellore Rural in-charge Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy in Nellore rural mandal have visited every house and detailed the developmental activities, welfare schemes being implemented during one year rule of TDP-led coalition government. Later speaking to reporters, Minister Narayana pointed out that people faced serious challenges and felt insecure as the State reeled under fear and panic during the five-year rule of YSRCP. He claimed that now there is no such situation as people are happy and enjoying development and welfare. Endowments Minister Anam claimed that people are satisfied with welfare programmes like Talli ki Vandanam, free gas cylinders, and assured that Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme will be launched very soon.
