Eleven-times capped Sean - who played 159 times for Preston - found himself in hot water for a short while as Claudia Rose had to start practicing singing the Liverpool anthem at short notice.
Claudia Rose said: 'It was last Wednesday, we got the phone call to ask if I would fly in for the game.
"At the time I was told it was to sing Preston's anthem.
'It was Sean who took the call and then on Friday they asked me, 'Do you know you are singing the two songs?' I got such a shock.

'I started blasting out You'll Never Walk Alone for two full days and I must have driven my neighbours mad.
'This was the first friendly match of the pre-season. It was always going to be a big game regardless because any time Preston has played Liverpool it's always been a massive thing.

'But obviously, because of Diogo and his brother Andre's deaths, there was a much bigger meaning behind it.'
The mum-of-one said she couldn't allow herself to become overly emotional as she didn't want to break down and cry in the middle of either song.

She said: 'I am a very soft person. I was super emotional but I just didn't want to break down and cry.
'That was my biggest fear. And then it was weird as once I started singing I actually let the emotion go to the back of my head.
'I remember thinking, 'You have to get through this', because this is for the fans, for the

Virgin Media launches casting call for Googlebox Ireland
Virgin Media Television's has announced a casting call for families and friends to take part in the new season of Gogglebox Ireland, which returns to screens this Autumn. The series began on Channel 4 in 2013 and observes people watching and commenting on television and this year Irish households who have regularly featured on the Virgin Media version will make their return but the channel is also looking for new faces to take part. Virgin Media says it is looking for members of the TikTok generation in their early 20s, who enjoy watching and talking about what's on TV. They add that a new family is also high on their wish list and is looking for families who watch TV together, with younger members 12+ of particular interest. Intergenerational households and lovers of all things news and current affairs are also a priority for the new series. A month out from Oasis in Croker, here's all you need to know ahead of the Dublin gigs. Are there tickets available? Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly. ‘He's a dream horse' - remarkable 12-year-old sparks glorious scenes
One of the real stalwarts of the Irish racing scene lit up a dreary night at Killarney on Tuesday when winning for the 13th time. The 12-year-old veteran Lord Erskine is one of the most popular horses in training and he took his winning tally to 13 races with a brilliant success in the Executive Helicopters Handicap at the Kerry venue. Trained in Louth by Harry Rogers, the remarkable gelding was winning on his 70th career start, having made his debut nine years ago at the Curragh in a flat maiden. William Buick was the jockey on board that afternoon and the top English-based rider was the first of many jockeys to ride him, a long list of 26 that includes the late greats Pat Smullen and Michael O'Sullivan while Rachael Blackmore and Darragh O'Keeffe have won on him. On Tuesday it was Ronan Whelan who rode him for the very first time and it was a winning partnership as he ran out a comfortable four and a half length winner from Dark Note. Incredibly Lord Erskine won the Irish Cesarewitch eight years ago and Tuesday's win took his career earnings to €400,000 for his owners the Nolan family. His original owner Jerry Nolan, from Cork, passed away in 2021 but four years later he still wears the same red and white silks and is owned by Jerry's brother Brian. Lord Erskine has won at several big festivals like the Dublin Racing Festival, Fairyhouse Easter Meeting and Rogers is now targeting a crack at the Guinness Galway Hurdle later this month. "It's unbelievable – I've never had a horse like him. He eats, sleeps and runs, and that's all he does. He doesn't see any vets, nothing. He's a dream,' said Rogers. 'In fairness to Ronan, we had a plan going out and said if they were going too slow to go on down the back straight, which he did. "He is a right horse on his day and is a gent. He is a dream horse and was like his late owner Jerry Nolan. Brian, his brother, has taken over the ownership now and is the same. "We just couldn't get an ease in the ground in the past few weeks, and the plan now is to go to Galway where he has a few choices. He could run in the amateur handicap on the Flat or in the Galway Hurdle, if he gets slow ground," Rogers told
