Woman, 40, charged over death of man in flat
Emergency services were called to reports of a 42-year-old found seriously injured at a property on Glenmuir Place around 8.10pm on July 5.
Mark Blackwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that a 40-year-old woman arrested on Thursday in connection with the death has now been charged.
She will appear in court in due course.

Following the appeal, police now believe they now know who the man is, although formal identification has still to take place. Detective Sergeant Neil Allison said: 'I would like to extend my thanks to those people who called in to assist with our appeal. 'We believe we now know who the man is which has been helped by the assistance we received from the public.' A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Formal identification has still to take place however the death is not believed to be suspicious and is being treated as unexplained at this time. "A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."

In footage seen by Glasgow Live, police can be seen escorting a man in handcuffs out of the aircraft while it sat on the tarmac. Passengers who were travelling on the flight can be seen watching on. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a man causing a disturbance on a flight arriving in Glasgow around 8.20am on Sunday, July 27, 2025. 'A 41-year-old man was arrested in connection and further enquiries are ongoing.' An easyJet spokesperson added: "Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow this morning was met by police on arrival in Glasgow, where they boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger due to their behaviour onboard. "easyJet's crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time. "The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is always easyJet's highest priority."
