Acre
This 2025 Green Michelin star winner is the ideal place to spend an evening (or a whole day). The food is the star, but the atmosphere is also pretty amazing. Guests are welcomed by a jungle-like pathway, surrounded by flowering plants and a collection of treehouses. Dinner is served under lit lanterns and an expansive starry sky; lunch is also alfresco, sheltered by the towering jungle palms.
Communal dining is recommended Acre
At the heart of the Acre Resort, which also includes accommodations, is a working farm that supplies the kitchen with more than 60 organic items. Mango and citrus trees tower over rows upon rows of tomatoes, peppers, root vegetables and herbs. Meat and seafood arrive fresh daily from nearby suppliers. The emphasis is on sustainability and although these locally produced items need little help to shine, the culinary team, led by Chef David Fajardo, create something wonderful. Some recent menu highlights include: tuna crudo with mango and avocado, rib-eye tacos with pickled onions, an heirloom tomato salad with goat cheese and basil and miso fish with black rice and bok choi.
Farm-to-table dining with a view Monte Cardon
Monte Cardon
For the ultimate dinner with a view, take a short drive to the countryside outside of Los Cabos to Monte Cardon. The property and amazing team will welcome you with a homemade beverage, and if you time it correctly, a spectacular sunset. The food at Monte Cardon highlights daily harvests from local farms and the Sea of Cortez and emphasizes sustainability; the restaurant is committed to only using ingredients that are found within 12 miles of the property. The menu incorporates seasonal flavors, a creative spirit and traditional Mexican cuisine with a Mediterranean flair. This is farm-to-table cooking at its best.
Private dining events are also available Monte Cardon
The local ingredients are transformed into magical dishes by chef/proprietor Ubaldo Martínez whose open-kitchen uses rustic techniques such as firewood ovens and grills. The highlight is the seasonal, six-course Chef's Table menu. Each course is deliciously complex and beautifully presented. Recently, the menu featured mesquite grilled yellowtail served over green mole, blue shrimp carpaccio stuffed with house-made burrata and a pear tart drizzled with mint caramel. And an extensive wine and cocktail list is also available.
Sushi plus the Pacific Nobu
Nobu
Nobu Los Cabos, located in the Nobu hotel, is inspired by the innovative flavors created by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Of course, you can find what have become Nobu classics, such as black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura, and yellowtail sashimi. However, this Cabo outpost also takes advantage of its unique location. Your meal is served in a sleek dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows where you can watch the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. Open-air dining is also available on the two-level oceanside patio for an up close sunset view.
Nobu classics Nobu
In addition to some of the best sushi I have ever had, a large selection of Japanese wagyu, and some excellent salads, Nobu Los Cabos also infuses its Japanese menu with Mexican elements. You can also indulge in a short rib, king crab or lobster taco, or some shishito peppers. And in addition to an assortment of mochi, there is tres leche cake with caramel ginger for dessert. The 'Mia Margarita' is a favorite and the Mezcalina features Siete Misterios Mezcal.

7,000+ military, security troops deployed to protect top Mexican vacation spots
American tourists visiting Cancún and other popular vacation spots in Mexico are expected to witness an increased number of Mexican military and security patrols this summer amid increased cartel violence and crime targeting tourists. According to Fox News, the Mexican government has deployed over 7,000 military troops and security officials to provide protection at the country's popular vacation locations amid rising crime against tourists and increased violence by cartels. The outlet noted that Mexico has deployed military troops and local security officials to top tourist locations over the past few years since 2021. Fox News reported that the Mexican government announced 'Operation Summer Vacation 2025' on July 18 and confirmed that the deployment of over 7,000 security personnel would include the Mexican Army, Navy, National Guard, as well as local and state police officials to guard popular tourist spots, such as Cancún, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. According to Fox News, this year's deployment of over 7,000 security personnel marks the largest seasonal deployment the Mexican government has ordered for the protection of the nation's top vacation spots. To our tourism service providers, I reiterate: you are the best ambassadors of our state. Your conduct, your ethics, and your commitment will make the difference.' Former Drug Enforcement Administration Senior Special Agent Michael Brown told Fox News that the presence of Mexican military troops in popular vacation hot spots may make tourists feel more concerned rather than better protected. 'You're sitting on a beach looking at soldiers. I'm worried about something happening. That really works against the concept of a vacation,' Brown told Fox News. 'If I'm sitting on a beach looking at the armed military, is that really going to make me relax?' Brown added, 'The fluidity of Mexican organized crime, gang activity, is constantly moving from one side of the country to the next. Unfortunately, these high-end tourist areas represent an easy opportunity for organized crime to come, steal, assault, and rob.'

UHNW Travelers Are Embracing The Full-Service Super Villa
INFINITY rents for around $129,000 per week. Highstay At the highest end of hospitality, Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) travelers are embracing a new category. Namely, the full-service super villa. Take INFINITY, HIGHSTAY's 6,458-square-foot villa in Ibiza. Opened in March on the Es Cubells coastline, it's already 60% booked through October. In peak season, it rents for around $129,000 per week with a one to two-week minimum stay. The draw is clear. Stunning Mediterranean views, K-Studio design and five-star service, minus hotel crowds. Beyond the spectacular views, what sets these villas apart is the ability to personalize everything, including private swim lessons for the little ones, last-minute yacht charters or full-scale dinner parties executed by a professional events team, arranged quietly and delivered to exacting standards. The architecture reflects what is called contextual minimalism. Highstay At VILLA INFINITY, the architecture reflects what K-Studio calls contextual minimalism: a philosophy where design is rooted in the surrounding landscape and local culture. The structure evokes the simplicity of a traditional Ibizan finca. Natural stone, wood and muted textures create a serene canvas, allowing the ever-changing Mediterranean light and vibrant rhythms of island life to become part of the design itself. This concept is a curated mix of elegant furniture, bespoke pieces and contemporary artworks, all hand-selected in collaboration with HIGHSTAY. The result is a tactile, emotionally resonant space where craftsmanship is revealed in the smallest details. INFINITY is an experience of space, texture and effortless luxury. Highstay Maria Orejas Romero, HIGHSTAY INFINITY's Manager/Concierge, explains, 'One of the most unexpected elements is how the villa unfolds like a constellation with seemingly independent design moments that, together, create a harmonious and meaningful whole. INFINITY is not just a property. It's an experience of space, texture and effortless luxury.' A dinner party at VILLA INFINITY is a fully immersive experience, crafted entirely around the guests' vision. Romero says, 'This summer, for example, we hosted a Full Moon dinner party for 60 guests, transforming the garden into an intimate yet festive setting with a single, beautifully set table beneath the night sky.' Three groups of chefs curated different moments of the evening. One prepared an elaborate apéritif and buffet of fresh salads, another crafted pizzas on-site, while an Italian chef cooked handmade pasta live in the garden using a giant paellera. Ten high-end waiters ensured every guest received personalized attention, while a guitarist set the tone, moving from soft melodies during dinner to more vibrant rhythms as the evening evolved. Four mixologists built a bespoke cocktail bar, creating full moon-inspired drinks and setting the mood for a night that was both relaxed and unforgettable. 'It's this kind of tailored, sensory experience that defines a dinner at INFINITY,' says Romero. A luxury private motor yacht under way on tropical sea with bow wave getty A yacht charter is more than just a day at sea. It's a fully tailored experience curated by INFINITY, who handles everything, from private transfers to the port to personalized food and beverages on board. Whether guests want a relaxed day with rosé and fresh fruit, a private chef preparing dinner at sunset or a playful atmosphere with water toys and board games, every detail is anticipated. Romero adds, 'We can reserve an exclusive table at Es Moli del Sal in Formentera or, for those seeking something more local, recommend Es Còdol Foradat, which has quietly become the new insider spot. Some guests prefer to stay onboard for dinner, enjoying a chef-cooked meal while anchored near Es Vedrà, watching the sun set with no one else in sight. The goal is always the same, to offer the same level of privacy, service and seamless care at sea as they experience at the villa.' Ibiza is a place where people love to come to disconnect. getty Ibiza offers a rare mix of natural beauty, cultural richness and discreet high-end hospitality. But above all, it's a place where people love to come to disconnect. The island has a laid-back spirit that feels effortless, yet it's much more accessible than other destinations like Mykonos or Sardinia, which often require multiple flights and transfers. Ibiza is just one direct flight away from most European cities, making it an easy escape without the usual complexity. The island is also incredibly versatile. The south is vibrant and social, with world-renowned clubs and beach clubs, while the north remains local, peaceful and authentic. Dining options are just as diverse, from small family-run Ibicenco restaurants to global names like Cipriani, Zuma and Nobu. Shopping is evolving too, with new high-end destinations such as Ibiza Gallery in Playa d'en Bossa catering to UHNW travelers. Whether guests are looking for a wellness retreat, a serene family holiday or a party-filled escape with friends, Ibiza adapts to every lifestyle while keeping its signature sense of freedom and discovery.
