'I bought £30 M&S cake for a fraction of the price at incredible shop'

If you want an M&S sweet treat but don't want to fork out full price, you might want to consider visiting this outlet store where you can purchase slightly damaged goods for less
A shopper who visited the Marks & Spencer factory outlet was blown away by the deals she managed to get there – and one cake in particular astounded her. M&S is known for having some of the best baked goods around, from Colin the Caterpillar to tubs of flapjacks and chocolatey treats.
Their cakes, in particular, are immensely popular and come in an array of flavours and colours. However, many of their larger offerings don't come cheap. Travel content creator Nicole is on hand to help, having found a place where you can buy your favourite M&S goodies for much less than in store.

'Oh my God, right, I have found the factory where they make all the M&S fresh food and they have a factory shop,' she said in a now-viral TikTok video.

The foodie couldn't contain her excitement as she showed viewers the M&S bargains she snagged from the shop.
First she picked up a big bag full of mini chocolate caterpillars for £2.50. She also got a pack of flapjack bites for £2.50 and she remarked that the pack was 'so heavy.'
Nicole then bought a large bag of strawberry and cream mini bites, again for £2.50. She explained that the treats are so affordable because they 'have all been slightly damaged,' so they get sold in the factory shop instead of M&S stores across the country.
She then said she found a whole lemon and sponge roll she picked up for just 50p and a sticky toffee pudding for £1.50.
Nicole ended by revealing the biggest bargain of them all: an M&S Naked Vanilla cake for £7. In store, these cakes can set shoppers back around £30.
The price of the cake was so good, she ended up buying two of them. The factory shop is called Park Cakes Company Shop and it is located in Oldham, near Manchester.

Inside the hidden store, she spotted a Doug the Dog cake for £2.50 that she thought was 'an absolute bargain' and full layer cakes for £10.
The thrifty shopper explained that there are different items on offer each day. She shared: 'We went in for my daughter's party and managed to get everything for like under £10.'
Nicole even found a large chocolate caterpillar treat for £1. The Park Cakes Company Shop is open to the public every day from Monday to Saturday but 17-year-olds are not allowed to go in.
The content creator's TikTok clip has amassed 1.2 million views, 66,900 likes and more than 600 comments, at the time of writing.
One user said: 'Literally down the road from me! Love a cheeky Park Cakes trip.' Another commented: 'What?! I've just stumbled across this and Googled it, it's 29 minutes away from me! Omg I'm going thank you lol.'
A third pleaded: 'No don't put Park Cakes on the map.' A fourth echoed: 'Please stop putting people onto Park Cakes! It's my fave place.'

'I tried McDonald's in Italy and the differences blew my mind'

An American tourist decided to try McDonald's in Italy and was blown away by the differences, especially one 'crazy' addition to the menu, and some 'really good' food items McDonald's is one of the biggest fast food chains in the world, attracting millions of customers a day across more than 40,000 locations. Known for iconic items such as hamburgers, Big Macs, McMuffins and their crispy fries, many people come back to the chain time and time again. ‌ And while many of the items will be the same, or similar, wherever you go in the world, there are some differences. When McDonald's fans are travelling, many like to try out a local Maccies to see if there are any different items, or if it tastes any different. For example, McDonald's in the US will be very different to the ones in India, where they have their own version of the Big Mac. ‌ And recently a Maccies fan from the US visited a McDonald's restaurant in Italy, and was blown away by the differences. Fashion and beauty content creator Ashley LaMarca recently visited Italy and showed off the menu at McDonald's, and even did a TikTok taste test of the different items. ‌ Ashley noted how "different" the restaurant itself looked as it was "so aesthetic", as well as the items they offered. First of all, she was impressed by the look of the McChicken Il Provolone, which she said was the "most Italian thing" she'd ever seen. She was also excited that they had same burger, but with pepperoni. And she liked the look of the McWrap Il Peperone, which is a "pepperoni wrap". They also have "loaded fries", or Le Ricche Fries Cheese&Bacon and Le Ricche Fries Cheddar, as well as "actual chicken wings". "The US could never," she added. On the menu, they also had croissants, which is how she "knows she's in Europe", as well as McPops cream-filled, which she said looked "unreal". ‌ She was also excited to see things she recognised on the menu, such as the Big Tasty, Cheeseburgers and Spicy Chicken McNuggets. However, she was very surprised to see beer on the menu, which she said was "crazy". In a follow-up video Ashley tried a peach iced tea which she said was "good". Meanwhile, she said the McChicken Il Provolone was "so good", because the chicken tasted "real and fresh". She rated both a 10 out of 10, saying it was her favourite things she'd tried. She tried the fries to see if they were the same as back home, and said they were "good" but tasted "more salty," rating it a whopping 10 out of 10. She also tried the spicy chicken McNuggets which she said were really spicy, and also gave them a 10 out of 10. But she wasn't impressed by the Cheesburger, specially as the "bun to patty ratio was way off". "It's not the best, she added, rating it a five out of 10. Ashley also tried one of the McPops, which she described as "like a donut hole", and rated it an impressive nine out of 10.

Look out for three rare £1 coins worth over £500

An expert explained how to spot these highly sought-after coins An expert has urged Brits to keep an eye out for three rare £1 coins that could be worth far more than their face value. Combined these pieces could fetch more than £500, ‌ In a video uploaded to social media platform TikTok, an expert known as the Coin Collecting Wizard explained how valuable these coins, which you could have at home, could be to collectors. ‌ Speaking to his more than 250,000 followers, he said: 'The valuable £1 coins you need to look out for. Pay attention to the details. The last one is unbelievable.' ‌ Firstly he explained that a specific pound coin from 2016 could be worth £60. The design of the coin is known as the 'nations of the crown' coin. On the reverse side of the coin (the tail side) you will see an English rose, Welsh leek, Scottish thistle, and Northern Irish shamrock emerging from crown. ‌ Ordinary versions of this coin are worth no more than £1. It is only rare and valuable if it bears a small symbol on the reverse side. He continued: 'This is a new pound coin from 2016. And what you need to look for is a small floral symbol at the bottom left of the coin just above the letter 'E'. 'Here is a better example so you can see it. If you find this, then it's rare as only 9,850 were minted. ‌ The next rare coin is also from 2016. He said: 'Next is an old round pound coin from 2016 with the shield design. 'Only 38,000 of these coins were minted, making it rare and worth around £30 today to collectors. Just remember the date needs to be 2016.' ‌ This was the last version of the old-style round £1 coins created in the UK before the introduction of the 12-sided coin. The final coin on his list is especially valuable, as it has been known to sell for around £500. This is another example of a nations of the crown design as mentioned above. While this coin is from 2016 there is a tiny error that mentions the year 2017. The expert added: 'But you will need a magnifying glass to find this error. 'Some of the 2016 coins were minted with the wrong micro engraving of 2017, making this super rare and valuable to coin collectors. So check around the edge of the coin for the date 2017. 'And if you find this error, then it has been known to sell for around £500.'
