Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team
(SKAT) arrived at
Patna
on Monday to paint the city sky with breathtaking spectacle on April 22 and 23.
Altogether nine red-and-white Hawk-132 jet aircraft of the Surya Kiran team will perform the aerobatic feats, promising to leave spectators in awe, an Army spokesperson said.
A full dress rehearsal on April 22 will be dedicated to school and college students to motivate the youth to join the Indian Air Force.
On April 23, which is also
Veer Kunwar Singh Jayanti
, the SKAT will pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the freedom fighter through the national anthem, a special fly past and synchronised aerial display.

Patna district administration has completed its preparations for the show. MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, district magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh and the Patna SSP inspected the venue along J P Ganga Path, and interacted with the Surya Kiran team on the eve of their aerobatics show.
To avoid traffic jams, Patna traffic police has created various parking zones, an official said.
Spectators coming from Danapur and Ashok Rajpath will have to park their vehicles at JP Setu Ghat, Digha Ghat, Ghat 88 and 93, while those coming from Gaighat can park their vehicles near Patna and science college grounds, besides Krishna Ghat. Parking arrangements have been made at Gandhi Maidan for those travelling from JP Golambar.
