Shankar Mahadevan Shares Big Update About Ranveer Singh's Don 3: ‘Haven't Started…'
Last Updated: The film, which was supposed to go on floors last year, went on to face multiple delays due to a variety of reasons. Ranveer Singh starrer Don 3 is one of the most awaited films. As anticipation builds around the film, fans are eager for updates on every aspect. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with Zoom, Shankar Mahadevan talked about the film's music. He revealed that the music for the Ranveer Singh-led film has not yet begun. Talking to Zoom, Shankar Mahadevan shared an update about the latest development on Don 3. He said, 'We haven't started the music setting yet. Hopefully, they (the makers) will be setting soon." He further spoke about his professional collaboration with Farhan Akhtar and his sister Zoya Akhtar. 'They have been an important part of my career graph. My first video, Breathless, was directed by Farhan and Zoya together. They did it together as a duo. And then, we did music for many of Zoya's films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Luck By Chance." The film, which was supposed to go on floors last year, went on to face multiple delays due to a variety of reasons. One of them being Farhan kick-starting the shoot of 120 Bahadur. Keeping up with his commitment to the makers of the film, he wanted to wrap it up before taking Don 3 to the floors. But seems like the time for the shoot of the much-awaited film is almost here! A well-placed source exclusively tells us, 'Farhan is nearing the end of 120 Bahadur. Ranveer has also finished shooting for a major portion of Dhurandar. And so, they wouldn't want to wait any longer before beginning filming for Don 3. The first schedule is scheduled for September this year. Both Ranveer and Vikrant Massey, who plays the antagonist, will be a part of it." However, it's still unclear if the female lead will be a part of this schedule. But this also means that Vikrant will start shooting for Dostana 2 next year. Earlier, a source had told us that his schedule for Karan Johar's film is dependent on Don 3 and that if the latter doesn't start this year, then Vikrant would shoot for Dostana 2 in September. As for the female lead of Don 3, there's still some certainty, but it's Sharvari and Kriti Sanon who are in contention. A while back, Farhan had stated that Don 3 is sure to go on floors this year. Interestingly, this film will also mark Ranveer and Vikrant's reunion after Dil Dhadakne Do. The duo had shared screen space in Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera in 2013 too. First Published:

Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur: What was Charlie Company? The unit behind Rezang La that made history in 1962
In November 1962, 120 soldiers from Charlie Company were stationed at this high-altitude post to defend the Chushul sector — a location of immense strategic importance read more Long before it became a symbol of unmatched courage, Rezang La stood as a remote, wind-swept mountain pass in the eastern sector of Ladakh, near the village of Chushul. Towering at nearly 18,000 feet above sea level, this icy terrain became the backdrop of one of the most legendary last stands in Indian military history. At the heart of that stand was Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Battalion. In November 1962, 120 soldiers from Charlie Company were stationed at this high-altitude post to defend the Chushul sector — a location of immense strategic importance. Braving freezing winds, unforgiving terrain, and mounting pressure, they stood firm in the face of an advancing enemy, determined to hold the line at all costs. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Commanded by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC — a leader whose quiet strength inspired unflinching loyalty — the men of Charlie Company displayed unparalleled courage on the night of November 18, 1962. They pushed back successive attacks from their post at Rezang La. If the Chinese had taken control of Rezang La, it would have given them a tactical advantage to launch further attacks on the Chushul airfield — a critical military asset located just over an hour away. Though the battle came at a staggering cost, their valour left behind a story that continues to echo through military institutions and history books alike. Charlie Company became a symbol of sacrifice — a reminder of how a handful of brave hearts rewrote the narrative of an entire war. Now, their extraordinary story comes to life in 120 Bahadur, with Farhan Akhtar portraying Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC. Directed by Razneesh 'Razy' Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production.
