Realme 15 and 15 Pro launching on July 24, full design revealed

Realme has officially confirmed the launch date for its next-generation number series in India. The Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro are set to debut on July 24, continuing the brand's trend of refreshing its number lineup every five months. This time, it appears to be skipping the Pro+ variant, focusing instead on the standard and Pro models. Here is everything we know about the upcoming Realme of the launch, a dedicated Flipkart microsite has gone live, confirming the complete design and teasing some key features of the upcoming smartphones. As per the listing, the Realme 15 series is being pitched as a major upgrade over its predecessor, promising a 'faster chip, bolder design, brighter display, slimmer body, clearer camera, bigger battery life, and smarter AI.'One of the standout features is the introduction of a new AI-powered tool called AI Edge Genie, a voice-led photo editing assistant that can modify images based on spoken prompts. For instance, users can ask the AI to transform a regular photo into a party scene by adding balloons, changing outfits, and more. While this feature sounds ambitious, it remains to be seen how effectively it works in real-world usage, particularly in terms of speed, photo quality, edge detection, and how natural the edits look. In terms of design, the Realme 15 and 15 Pro will be available in Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple colour options. Unlike the Realme 14 series, the new models feature a redesigned rear panel with a glass-like camera module housing three rear cameras arranged in two circular units, accompanied by a third smaller ring. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right side of the frame. The front also appears slightly curved, giving the impression of a larger display and improved ergonomics due to the curved Realme 15 series is targeting "young, socially active users" who seek a balance between style and performance. Although detailed specifications are yet to be confirmed, leaks suggest that the Realme 15 Pro 5G could sport a 50-megapixel main camera. It is expected to offer an in-display fingerprint sensor and come in configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The vanilla Realme 15 5G is expected to offer similar memory options and might carry a price tag between Rs 18,000 and Rs 20,000, as per a leak from 91Mobiles. The 15 Pro model is expected to be priced at around Rs 25,000, similar to its predecessor.- Ends

Realme 15 series mobile specs and launch timeline out: What we can expect

Realme is gearing up to introduce its new smartphone lineup, the Realme 15 series, which is expected to launch in July 2025. Although the company has not officially confirmed the details, leaks and certification documents have revealed some key insights about the upcoming models and their specifications. Let's have a closer look at what's coming. The Realme 15 series is expected to comprise multiple variants, including the Realme 15, 15 Pro and 15 Lite. However, they may not be launched simultaneously, with several sources indicating a launch date of July 2025. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the rollout could start with one or two models first, followed by the release of additional versions. This approach aligns with Realme's previous strategy, as seen with the Realme 14 series earlier this year. The company launched the 14 Pro 5G and 14 Pro Plus 5G in January in India, while the 14 Pro Lite appeared later in March. Notably, the standard Realme 14 5G was available only in select global markets and did not reach India. Don't Spend a Grand Before Reading This. iPhone 16 Pro vs. 15 Pro, 14 Pro, 13 Pro

The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max launched in 2024. They have a slightly different design from the 2023 iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, but in many ways remain very similar. Trying to figure out whether or not to get the iPhone 16 Pro can be less than straightforward. Should you upgrade from the 15 Pro? What about if you have an iPhone 14 Pro or even a 13 Pro? For starters, both the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max have larger screens, with the smaller Pro getting a larger 6.3-inch display (up from 6.1 inches on the 15 Pro) and the Pro Max getting even bigger with a 6.9-inch display (up from last year's 6.7-inch display). See now The Pro model usually gets discontinued after a year while Apple keeps its base level iPhone on sale for two years after its initial launch. (Last year's iPhone 15 is now $100 less and the 2022 iPhone 14 is $599.) That doesn't mean you can't buy last year's iPhone 15 Pro — it's likely still in stock at physical stores while supplies last or available as a refurbished model — but the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will otherwise displace 2023's iPhone Pro phones. Of course, it's worth noting that the rumored iPhone 17 Pro will likely launch in just a matter of months. So it might make sense holding off on buying a new phone if you can. James Martin/CNET The 16 Pro now has an identical camera to its corresponding Pro Max model, whereas typically the Pro Max would get a smaller enhancement. This includes a 5x optical zoom, which wasn't available on last year's 15 Pro (it had a 3x telephoto lens) but was on the 15 Pro Max. All of the iPhone 16 devices, including the base and Plus models, get a new Camera Control button that provides quick access to photo and video modes. The iPhone 16 Pro has access to various AI features from Apple Intelligence, including a Visual Intelligence feature, which uses the camera and AI to identify objects and places around you. While the iPhone 15 Pro will also gain access to some of these features, the iPhone 14 Pro and earlier Pro models will not. These features will also include note summarization, an enhanced Siri assistant and Genmoji, a method of generating new emoji using a prompt. Read more: iOS 18 Gives You More Control Over How Your iPhone Looks and Works iPhone 16 Pro design From the back the iPhone 16 Pro looks nearly identical to previous Apple pro models. James Martin/CNET Apart from AI-enabled hardware, iPhone 16 Pro also shares features with the iPhone 15 Pro that aren't available on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. Those premium iPhones have a titanium finish introduced last year, which helps make the phones lighter than most earlier models despite their larger screen size. Both the 15 Pro and 16 Pro have USB-C ports with USB 3.0 data speeds instead of Lightning connectors with USB 2.0 data speeds, and both can record spatial video, which is a type of 3D video that you can watch on the Apple Vision Pro headset. An always-on display, Dynamic Island camera cutout and satellite connectivity for Emergency SOS are features available across all of these Pro models apart from the iPhone 13 Pro. Should you buy an iPhone 16 Pro? In recent years, upgrading year over year typically offers small differences. If you have an iPhone 12 Pro or older, we believe upgrading to an iPhone 16 Pro makes a lot of sense. If you have an iPhone 13 Pro and the battery health is still good, it'd makes sense to wait another year to upgrade. And if you have an iPhone 14 Pro or 15 Pro, there's no need to buy an iPhone 16 Pro right now.
