News that Wintour, 75, is on the hunt for a new editorial content lead arrived during a Thursday staff meeting, WWD reported. Sources confirmed the news to the New York Post. Wintour took over as Vogue editor-in-chief from Grace Mirabella in 1988. She also serves as Condé Nast's chief content officer, and will continue in that role, leading brands such as Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, Conde Nast Traveler, Glamour, Bon Appetit, Tatler, The World of Interiors and Allure. She has been navigating both positions since 2021, as well as serving as global editorial director at Vogue. She will continue in that position, according to Variety. Wintour previously said she had no plans to step down at Vogue. World's Biggest TikTok Star Detained by US Immigration
World's Biggest TikTok Star Detained by US Immigration originally appeared on Parade. Italian-Senegalese influencer Khaby Lame was detained at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Friday. Lame, whose full name is Seringe Khabane Lame, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after overstaying his visa. An ICE spokesperson confirmed to USA Today on Sunday that Lame, who is an Italian citizen, was granted voluntary departure and has left the U.S. The ICE statement explained, "Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the US." Initially, there was confusion about Lame's detention because he was not listed in the ICE arrest database after conservative activist and Barron Trump's best friend, Bo Louden, claimed to be behind Lame's arrest. The mega viral TikTok star, who boasts the highest following on the social media platform, attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, during his time in the U.S. This year's theme was "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" and explored Black dandyism's impact on fashion. Lame nailed the theme in a grey pinstripe three-piece suit by BOSS, black and white spectator wingtips, and a dramatic wide-brimmed hat that pulled the whole outfit together. Since being allowed to leave the country, Lame has not addressed the ICE detainment but has posted new content to TikTok, where he has more than 162 million followers, and to his Instagram Stories. Lame's detainment comes on the heels of President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown, which has resulted in violent and chaotic protests across the country, with the president deploying the National Guard to California to quell unrest. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 World's Biggest TikTok Star Detained by US Immigration first appeared on Parade on Jun 9, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jun 9, 2025, where it first appeared.

Most-followed TikTok star Khaby Lame detained by ICE amid Trump immigration crackdown
Most-followed TikTok star Khaby Lame detained by ICE amid Trump immigration crackdown Show Caption Hide Caption National Guard and protesters clash over ICE raids Hundreds of demonstrators fought back with the National Guard and local authorities as ICE protests escalated. Khaby Lame, an Italian-Senegalese influencer whose TikTok account boasts the most followers on the platform, has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In a statement Sunday, June 8, to USA TODAY, an ICE spokesperson confirmed that Lame, whose full name is Seringe Khabane Lame, was detained Friday, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for immigration violations. Born in Senegal, Lame is now a citizen of Italy, where he has spent the majority of his life. Entering the U.S. on April 30, Lame "overstayed the terms of his visa," according to ICE, and was granted voluntary departure once detained. Online, young female OnlyFans stars make their lives look aspirational. Is it problematic? Why is Khaby Lame famous? The 25-year-old content creator has one of the most recognizable faces on the internet. Rising to fame during the pandemic, after being laid off from his factory job in Italy in March of 2020, Lame's signature video style involves him following along as another creator demonstrates a complicated life hack, then completing the task himself with ease, often wordlessly, and shooting a knowing look at the camera. Using the hashtag "learnfromkhaby" on many of his videos, Lame's fame is more akin to the internet stardom of yore, in which an exasperated look or a quick humorous bit, stripped of any high production value or product placement, could take off on Vine. Lame attended the 2025 Met Gala in May, celebrating the theme of Black dandyism in style with a bespoke gray zoot suit-style ensemble. Beyond internet stardom, he is also an ambassador for men's clothing house Boss, Blockchain platform Binance and Unicef, a humanitarian aid organization. The biggest moments from the 2025 Met Gala: Rihanna, Diana Ross, more red carpet highlights Lame's detainment comes amid a larger immigration crackdown spearheaded by President Donald Trump. Following through on a campaign promise for mass deportations, under Trump's advisement, ICE launched raids across the country, from classrooms to workplaces to airports. The move has been met with some resistance among the general public and the courts, who argue that some of the deportations have robbed people of due process and that, in the case of separated families, they embody a cruelty discordant with America's values.

Rihanna Reveals She's Pregnant With Baby No. 3 With A$AP Rocky as She Arrives at the 2025 Met Gala
Rihanna revealed she is pregnant with baby No. 3 while heading to the 2025 Met Gala in a form-fitting outfit. The 'Diamonds' singer, 37, showed off her growing baby bump in photos obtained by People before arriving at the star-studded event, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5. She later walked the red carpet several hours after the event started in a black tailored look and a large hat with her baby bump on full display. Rihanna is now expecting her third child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky (real name: Rakim Mayers). The couple currently share two sons, 2-year-old RZA Athelaston Mayers, born in May 2022, and 1-year-old Riot Rose Mayers, born in August 2023. A$Ap walked the red carpet earlier on in the night solo. The dress code for the 2025 Met Gala is "Tailored for You," which is a "nod to the exhibition's focus on suiting and menswear — from specific silhouettes to various fabrics and accessories — that is purposefully designed to both provide guidance and invite creative interpretation." Cochairs for this year's highly anticipated event include A$AP Rocky, 36, Oscar-nominated actor Colman Domingo, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and hitmaker Pharrell Williams, plus Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Before stealing the show at this year's event with her big news, Rihanna previously spoke about how much she is enjoying motherhood. "It makes me feel really cool to be a boy mom," she told E! News at Fenty Beauty's Soft'Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation launch in April 2024. "Like I get to be as casual and busted as I want to, but it also forces me to embrace the epic things about being a woman, and a female and all my femininity. I embrace it so much more now, like I wear pink." She added, "I go between wearing jerseys and like, 'I'm wearing a dress today! I'm the only one in this house who can do that right now.'" The Barbadian bombshell said she's really embraced her role at home and it's empowered her in other ways. "It just kind of highlights about being a woman," she shared. "Because I'm the one that can experience all of that in the house — giving birth to them, carrying them, being a partner with Rocky and running the household and the family. It's new territory, but it's empowering." A source told In Touch that RiRi is continuing to expand her empire after launching Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty, a lingerie line, noting that she is well on her way to doubling her billion-dollar fortune. "Rihanna takes a very serious, thoughtful approach to each of her investments, she doesn't just slap her name on her brands, she's heavily involved in every step from the design to the marketing and the products," the insider dished. "There's a reason everything she touches seems to turn to gold. She does thorough research and due diligence and puts in the hours," spilled the source, revealing Rihanna is serious about investing her time and energy into her products. "She has an incredible sense of judgment, and her ventures, like her perfume line, are performing incredibly well. She's careful to time her launches right to ensure things are successful, she starts slow and steady before diving into a new project. Her existing brands are thriving, and she's now moving into new territories."

Usher Tells Inspiring, Never Before Told Story At Emory Graduation
To know Usher is to know that he came from humble beginnings, but the road to become Dr. Usher Raymond IV wasn't always smooth sailing. As the keynote speaker at Emory's 2025 Commencement, the crooner also received an honorary doctorate from the university on Sunday (May 12.) His speech reflected on a pivotal moment from his youth that helped shape the man he is today. 'I'm not just accepting this honor for myself. I'm accepting it for every kid who's ever been told 'your dream was too big; your neighborhood was overlooked or your voice was too quiet.' For me, this moment is far more than a ceremonial moment filled with accolade and celebration for things that we all have done. It's personally deep for me,' he began. Usher recounted a story that he's 'never publicly shared' about being so 'academically far behind' after moving from Chattanooga, Tenn. to Atlanta and he was ultimately 'assigned to remedial classes, which at the time felt like a judgment on my ability.' The father of four was admittedly 'discouraged,' but he used his frustration to fuel his passion. 'Though I was misunderstood and passed on, that was the point of investment that I had to make in order to find my purpose. Because of that passion, I felt it would lead me in the right direction and it has,' Usher continued. 'Before I could sing, before I could dance, before I was a doctor,' he joked, 'I had passion.' Usher explained that 'the system' wasn't equipped to handle 'a student like [him]' and couldn't 'help prepare [him] for the future [he'd] have' and as a result, he became the global superstar and philanthropist we know and love. 'To go from that moment, to standing here and being honored by one of the most prestigious institutions, Emory [University], is truly full circle and proof that the journey is the destination.'
