Top Notre Dame O-Line target Kennedy Brown ranked No. 4 overall in first 2027 Rivals300
🚨NEW🚨 OT Kennedy Brown ranks No. 4 and 5-stars in the initial 2027 Rivals300. A top Notre Dame target has made a major impact in the initial Class of 2027 Rivals300 rankings. Offensive tackle Kennedy Brown picked up an offer from the Fighting Irish coming off of their Pot of Gold Day this past March, and the five-star, Hoosier-turned-Texan has been ranked No. 4 overall in the first 2027 Rivals300. The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Kingwood (Humble, TX) product has Hoosier State roots. He lived in a suburb on the north side of Indianapolis before transferring to the Houston area three years ago. He is receiving loads of national attention, but a return to the Hoosier State could be on the horizon in the form of playing for the Fighting Irish. Brown plays with an elite combination of physicality and athleticism, two key traits when projecting the growth of young offensive tackles. He is ranked as the No. 1 overall offensive tackle, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Notre Dame legacy target Cooper Witten ranks No. 15 overall in the initial 2027 Rivals300
Seemingly on a daily basis, Notre Dame is making national headlines because of the number of legacy recruits that are either committed or being sought by the football program. One of those Fighting Irish targets made news Wednesday when linebacker Cooper Witten placed No. 15 in his class with four-stars in the initial 2027 Rivals300. The son of former Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders star Jason Witten, is an ND target who competed in the program's Irish Invasion event this summer. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX) product has been clocked at a 10.91-second 100 meters, and his elite closing speed and football instincts make him one of the premiere defenders in his class. Outside of Notre Dame, Witten has offers from major powers such as Alabama, Michigan, Texas and his father's alma mater, Tennessee. He had 45 tackles, five interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) and seven receiving scores on offense during his sophomore season. In its 2026 class, ND holds commitments from linebacker Thomas Davis Jr. as well as wide receivers Devin Fitzgerald and Kaydon Finley, all three of whom are sons of former NFL standouts.
