Represent unveils first look at London flagship ahead of opening
British luxury streetwear brand Represent is adding to its store portfolio, which includes Manchester in the UK and Los Angeles in the US, with a flagship store in London at 135-141 Wardour Street on July 12. The store spans 5,000 square feet across two floors and will showcase the brand's Represent Mainline brand, signature performance wear line 247 by Represent, Represent Woman, and its band collaborations with Oasis, Guns N' Roses and Iron Maiden. A 'sizeable proportion' of the store will be dedicated to its 247 performance line, which it states has experienced "significant growth in the last few years'. The sub-brand, which this year expanded to include 247 Woman, is now the fastest-growing arm of the Represent business. Its sales have risen by 75 percent since January, following years of continued growth, and it now accounts for 25 percent of the overall Represent business. Opening our London store strengthens our positioning as a premium British brand. This flagship opening is a statement of intent. Our long-term vision is to build a brand that goes beyond product and connects through culture, community and lifestyle; which is why physical stores are so important. Along with Manchester and LA, it also acts as a blueprint for international expansion that can hopefully shape future openings in other major cities across the world.' A dream of ours as young designers growing into the industry was always to open a store in the capital, and we wanted to save that moment until we could do it with full intention that really defines who and what we are as a brand. Represent London shows the brand's constant progression and the elevation over the past 14 years has been a considered steady growth with key defining moments that prove ourselves becoming a legacy. 'Represent is here to stay, and a physical store marks the proof. Being able to have that product in front of our consumers builds so much more loyalty and love for the brand. People are able to come here and sense us; from the scent of our fragrance, to the drinks on our cafe menu and of course, to see the quality of our product.' To mark the London flagship opening, Represent is launching an exclusive collection available in-store only, featuring limited-edition 'London Store' T-shirts and hoodies, alongside a football shirt. The brand is also adding a capsule collection of 'Owners Club Cafe' merchandise, featuring hoodies, T-shirts, caps, and homeware, available exclusively at the cafe. Syracuse football lands commitment from four-star, top-50 WR Calvin Russell
Syracuse football made waves in Fran Brown's first season as coach, notching a 10-win season and lighting up scoreboards with a prolific passing offense. That momentum has continued heading into Brown's second season. The Orange landed a commitment on July 5 from wide receiver Calvin Russell, a four-star prospect from the class of 2026 who, if he signs, will be the third-highest-rated recruit that Syracuse has ever landed in 247Sports' history. REQUIRED READING: Heisman Trophy sleepers: Five unlikely contenders for college football's top award The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Russell chose the Orange over his other finalists, Michigan, Oregon and Florida State. A star at powerhouse Miami Northwestern High School, where he plays for former NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Russell is rated as a four-star prospect by 247's composite rankings, which have him as the No. 47 overall prospect nationally in the 2026 class and the No. 5 wide receiver. As a junior last season, Russell caught 39 passes for 704 yards and 13 touchdowns while helping lead Northwestern to a Florida 3A state title. He also averaged 21 points and seven rebounds per game as a sophomore for the school's basketball team. According to ESPN, he is expected to "pursue the opportunity" to play for the Orange's men's basketball team. Russell becomes the 26th commitment in Syracuse's 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked 20th nationally by 247 and fifth in the ACC. In its first season under Brown, who arrived after two seasons as Georgia's defensive backs coach, the Orange went 10-3, just its second 10-win season since 2002. Syracuse had finished with a losing record in eight of the previous 10 seasons. The Orange finished 21st among 134 FBS programs in scoring offense, averaging 34.1 points per game, while quarterback Kyle McCord was the nation's leading passer in his first and ultimately only season with the program, throwing for 4,779 yards.

Florida Makes Second Recruiting Splash on Monday
Florida Makes Second Recruiting Splash on Monday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. On Monday, the Florida Gators landed a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Javarii Luckas. Luckas' commitment continued a hot stretch for Florida, with the once-SEC power already landing eight other prospects this month alone. Advertisement However, the Gators did not rest on their laurels after landing Luckas, their third offensive line commit of the 2026 class. Instead, later in the day, the Billy Napier-led squad grabbed another offensive tackle. Florida Gators head coach Billy NapierMatt Pendleton / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images On the heels of Javarii Luckas' commitment, fellow three-star tackle Tyler Chukuyem committed to Florida. 247 ranks Chukuyem slightly ahead of Luckas. The Georgia native also holds offers from the Florida State Seminoles, the Florida Atlantic Owls, the Ole Miss Rebels, the Cincinnati Bearcats, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and the UAB Blazers, among others. The strong month of recruiting for Florida continues to vault them up 247Sports' rankings regarding the 2026 class. With Monday's verbal commitments from Chukuyem and Luckas, the class is now ranked 23rd overall, according to 247. Advertisement They have 12 commits for 2026, headlined by wide receiver Marquez Daniel, quarterback Will Griffin, and athlete Justin Williams. The trio all rank as fringe five-star recruits on 247, with Daniel holding the most elite of marks. Daniel is a six-foot-five pass catcher that has 82 receptions in his three-year high school career. He has also scored a ludicrous 26 times while playing for Booker T. Washington High School in Tuscaloosa. Of note, the USC Trojans sit atop the ranks with a whopping 29 verbal commits. The Ohio State Buckeyes rank second with just 15 total commits in comparison. #SHOWBIZ: Japanese woman who kissed BTS' Jin without consent turns herself in
SEOUL: A Japanese woman in her 50s who allegedly kissed BTS member Jin without his consent last year has voluntarily turned herself in after returning to South Korea recently. Korea JoongAng Daily reported yesterday that the police said the woman has been charged with sexual harassment in a public space under the country's special law on sexual crimes. Under South Korean law, sexual harassment in a public place can lead to one year in jail or a fine of up to three million won (about RM9,247). The incident reportedly happened on June 13 last year at a fan event at Jamsil Arena in Seoul, a day after the 32-year-old star whose full name is Kim Seok-jin finished his military service. During the event, where 1,000 fans were invited to hug Jin, the woman was said to have kissed the K-pop star on the cheek. Viral photos and videos showed Jin looking shocked and uncomfortable, which led to public anger and debate. "My lips touched his neck. His skin was so soft," the woman reportedly wrote online later, which sparked even more criticism. After someone reported the case through a government petition site, police started an investigation. With help from Interpol in Japan, police identified the woman and booked her last month. Investigators also found that another woman may have tried to kiss or touch Jin at the same event, but she has not been found.
