How to prepare for July 2025 Mercury retrograde in Leo
Buckle up and bite your tongues my babies, the second Mercury retrograde of 2K25 begins this week. When does mercury go into retrograde In the wee hours of July 18th, Mercury, our planet of communication and exchange, lip service and slander, poetry and sexting, goes retrograde at 15° of Leo. Mercury will remain retrograde until August 11th when the planet stations direct. However we will still be in the undertow of Mercury retroshade until the planet clears its shadow on August 25th. Advertisement Mercury is named for the Roman emissary of the gods (Hermes to the Greeks), patron saint of thieves and a princely psychopomp who ferried souls between the realms of the living and the dead. In astrology, Mercury governs intellect, expression and exchange and when the planet slows down, the realms that it rules are affected/afflicted. What happens when Mercury is in retrograde? 4 Mercury is named for the emissary of the gods, patron saint of thieves and psychopomp who ferried souls between the realms of the living and the dead indah – 'Mercury retrograde stands for communication, mediation, intelligence, shrewdness, and interface of all kinds (including skin, the body's interface; words and speech, the interface of our thoughts and emotions), instruments of communication, and means of transportation like cars, trains, boats, or planes. Advertisement Mercury also stands for youth (the interface between childhood and adulthood, innocence and maturity) and androgyny (the interface between male and female),' astrologer Palmist Ankur told The Post. As the closest planet to the showboating sun and the fastest orbiting planet in our solar system, Mercury goes retrograde three to four times per year, more often than any other luminary. 'When Mercury is in a retrograde period, communications can go a bit haywire. This means technical issues with telecom networks or equipment or with social media. For example, Facebook or Instagram could go down, have a glitch. The frequency of more serious events, such as vehicle accidents, increases. Travel inconveniences like flights delays can also increase,' shared Ankur. Advertisement Due to this increased likelihood of inconvenience and accident, Ankur suggests forfeiting any travel plans that are not expressly necessary. Is Mercury retrograde right now 4 As the closest planet to the showboating sun and the fastest orbiting planet in our solar system, Mercury goes retrograde three to four times per year, more often than any other luminary. Masihullah – He notes that during this summer's Mercury retrograde, Saturn, our planet of restriction and Neptune, our planet of fantasy will be tightly aligned in the fellow fire sign of Aries, a proximity that could spark diplomatic discord, international tensions, and real deal reckoning in our romantic relationships and projections of perfection. Advertisement In addition to eschewing travel, Ankur also advised folks to double check documents and avoid actions with permanent consequences. 'Out of an abundance of caution, anything involving communication or paperwork, such as signing important documents or scheduling a very important meeting, should be avoided during a Mercury retrograde period. If things in your chart are sketchy during that time, it can play out badly and things could go awry.' Retrogrades are periods where the prefix 're' is emphasized. In kind, Ankur urges everyone to methodically 'review' any details, be it travel plans or sensitive emails. 4 This summer, Mercury retrogrades in Leo, a sign ruled by the sun. vectorwin – Retrogrades are a time to reflect and return rather than initiate. For this reason, Ankur suggests avoiding new ventures during this transit and focusing instead on existing projects. And because Mercury retrograde is curveball territory, being flexible and remaining calm when the winds of calamity doth blow are key to making it through this transit unscathed While Mercury retrograde can bring its share of frustrations, Ankur emphasizes the potential for growth. 'These periods push us to slow down and reflect,' he said. 'It's a time to tie up loose ends and rediscover what brings us joy.' Mercury retrograde shadow period Advertisement 4 If we factor in the shadow period, Mercury will be retrograding in Leo for the bulk of the summer. manuta – Mercury retroshade refers to the two-week period immediately preceding the transit and the two weeks following it. Known as the pre- and post-retrograde shadow, these bookends bring the same emotionally congested and off-kilter energy as the retrograde transit, but offer lessons in preparation and integration. In this latest backspin, the pre-retrograde/retroshade period began on June 29th and the post-retrograde period will reign from August 11th to August 25th. Mercury retrograde 2025 signs affected Advertisement Because this latest retrograde goes down and back in a fixed sign, those with major placements in Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius will feel the effects of this transit most acutely. When is mercury in retrograde 2025 The next, and last Merucry retrograde of the year begins on November 9th, 2025, at 2:01 am ET at 6° Sagittarius. Mercury will be retrograde during the problematic, familial feast of Thanksgiving meaning turkey legs may be hurled and heads could roll. Advertisement Mercury will remain retrograde until it turns direct in Scopio on November 29th. The trickster planet will clear its post retrograde shadow on December 16th. Mercury retrograde dates July 18, 2025 – August 11, 2025 in Leo November 9, 2025 – November 29, 2025 in Sagittarius and Scorpio. WWE star Carlito says he 'knows retirement is coming' soon
Carlito (Image Via WWE) WWE Superstar Carlito is back in action, but he knows his time in the ring will not last forever. At 46 years old, the former United States Champion understands that retirement is coming soon. He is still enjoying wrestling, but he also knows that his career is getting closer to the end. Carlito returned to WWE at Backlash Puerto Rico in 2023 and joined Judgment Day, teaming up with stars like Dominik Mysterio. Even though he does not wrestle often now, he still appears with the group and plays an important role backstage. For him, this second run with WWE is all about making the most of what time he has left. Carlito is still having fun in WWE Carlito spoke with Metro before WrestleMania and shared how he feels about the future. He said he is not sure when he will retire, but he knows it could happen anytime. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Scarlett Johansson, 40, Shows Off Her Real Size In A New Vacation Photos 33 Bridges Undo 'You never know, you know what I mean? And with what time I've got left, just giving it whatever I can.' He also shared that he does not think much about dream matches anymore. He is done thinking about who he wants to wrestle next. 'I've passed that stage of 'Who would you like to work with?' I'm just here to have fun and work, and leave some body of work before I go.' To Carlito, WWE feels very different now Carlito's first run in WWE was from 2004 to 2009. Now that he is back, he notices that things have changed a lot. Most of the people he worked with before are gone, and WWE has many new, younger stars. But Carlito has stayed ready and works hard when called upon. He has also said he likes the way Triple H is leading WWE now. Carlito thinks focusing on young talent is the right move, even if it doesn't help him much. Carlito on playing 2K25! "Yeah, I think what he's doing, you know, he's done a youth movement which wasn't, they didn't have that in the past. It doesn't really help me out now, but I appreciate that's the way the business should be going." Carlito is also part of WWE 2K25 this year as a DLC character. He laughed about how he plays the game, even if he's not very good at it, 'I've been attempting to play it.' He then added that he doesn't play as himself, 'No, I play as Roman Reigns, he's a 90-something,' he joked to The Wrestling Classic. Carlito knows retirement is not far away, but he is not worried. He is focused on enjoying the rest of his time in WWE, whether it is helping Judgment Day, performing for fans, or just having fun. He may not be in the spotlight every week, but he is still leaving a strong impression. For Carlito, it is not about chasing titles anymore, it is about giving fans something to remember and leaving behind a solid legacy. PGA Tour 2K25 review: Is this the best sports game of 2025?
It's nearly impossible for a sports video game to give you a similar sensation to actually playing the sport replicated on screen – but just like in real golf, the perfect shots you hit in PGA Tour 2K25 keep you coming back for another round. PGA Tour 2K25 is a generational leap for the series, which saw its last entry release in 2022. With previous generation consoles out of the picture, the leap that developer HB Studios has been able to make is gargantuan. From Royal Portrush to Pebble Beach, the 27 licensed courses look incredible. Lighting, shadows and surfaces have all been overhauled, but the most impactful changes to 2K25 are on the gameplay side. New to 2K25 is the EvoSwing system. In previous iterations of the series, each shot generally had you pulling the stick back and pushing it forward in as perfect a line as you could manage. That's still an option here on lower difficulty levels, but most players will instead be shaping every shot with EvoSwing, just as the pros are doing in real life. When you create a MyPlayer at the start of the game, you can assign either a natural fade or draw, which will determine how your standard shots fly through the air. With a fade, for example, you'll be pulling the stick down and to the right, and then pushing up and to the left. Shaping shots poses a greater challenge than firing perfectly straight lasers everywhere, but it's a far more rewarding when you get it right. The feedback presented by the EvoSwing display is a big upgrade from the 2K23 swing meter, and helps you dial in your swing as you go through the round. Every shot is graded on four metrics – contact, swing path, rhythm and transition – and you'll be able to see where exactly you erred whenever a ball slices into the trees or comes up short into a bunker. If you aren't a swing stick type of player, the three-click swing mode is still included and has been upgraded with EvoSwing mechanics. There are 11 playable professionals in the game – including Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Max Homa and Lydia Ko – but you'll likely be spending most of the time on the links as a created MyPlayer. The character creator is robust, though I'd like to see more hair options. The biggest decision you'll have to make is your archetype, which determines your starting stats. There are five in total, each with particular strengths and weaknesses, and a unique skill path to follow. You can opt for a long-hitting powerhouse, but you'll struggle to keep many of those bombs in play. A greenskeeper will have a big advantage putting the ball, but will be lagging behind off the tee. Over time, you can invest virtual currency into your MyPlayer to raise those stats and mask whatever deficiencies your archetype started with. As with any 2K game, the rate of progression and VC acquisition is always contentious issue, but I didn't have much of an issue getting my 'magician' archetype MyPlayer up to an 85 overall within a couple of days. There are a ton of ways to earn VC, new clubs and attire, and the consumable upgrades like fittings just by playing the game. If you're planning on leveling every archetype, that could be a lengthy grind, but most players are likely going to stick to one or two MyPlayers. In addition to upgrading raw stats, each MyPlayer has a skill tree to help you level up in each area of the game, or to unlock different shot types. Separately, the equipment you use upgrades over time. Once you max out a club, you can use a tool to evolve that club to the next level, from the base level to emerald and again to sapphire. Club progression unfortunately does not carry over between different MyPlayers, which is disappointing. The MyCareer mode, like much of the rest of PGA Tour 2K25, is as deep as you want it to be. New to 2K25 is the dynamic round feature in MyCareer, which simulates part of a given round and has you jump into the action in crucial holes. Dynamic rounds help speed up the action and the progression of the season, and there are a ton of different simulation options to raise or lower the difficulty to your preference. Along your journey to the PGA Tour, you'll engage in rivalries with other pros, sign sponsors to unlock new items, and raise your follower count by participating in post-round interviews with the media. You could choose to play through all 72 holes of a four-day tournament in MyCareer, or fast track yourself to major championships. It's all up to you. PGA Tour 2K25 expands the multiplayer and competitive offerings, with crossplay now available for Societies, and I can tell the new Ranked Tours mode is where I'll be spending a lot of time. Ranked Tours offer both daily and weekly open tournaments, with multiple entry points for players at each difficulty level. When your friend group doesn't have a Society tournament running, Ranked Tours will always have something available for you to compete in. The course designer has been revamped for 2K25, with a slew of new tools that will make editing your dream course a good deal quicker than it used to be. You could have the designer auto-generate 18 holes based on a few parameters and have a new course to play, or you could go hole-by-hole and meticulously shape the perfect course. With a week of launch, there will undoubtedly be hundreds of player-created courses available to play, and skilled creators are going to enjoy the new surface options. There's something for everyone in PGA Tour 2K25, from beginners to the simulation purists who want to battle for every par. PGA Tour 2K25 releases on February 28th, 2025, on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be available for early access on February 21st for deluxe and legend edition owners.

Roman Reigns takes wrestling action to video games. WWE 2K25 cover star is still fighting leukemia
Associated Press Roman Reigns has shared the WWE ring with his family in a storyline for years — he called his faction The Bloodline — so it seemed right to him they were his tag team partners on a cover for WWE 2K25. Reigns was named as this year's cover star on the standard version of the 2K25 game while the former WWE champion was joined by current and former stablemates Jey Uso and Jacob Fatu, among others, for The Bloodline Edition. 'We're always trying to represent our family, I'm always trying to represent the elders of my family and the ones that laid down the groundwork and the foundation that we stand on,' Reigns said. 'To be able to take it to this level and this platform, and to have the interaction with the video game, and for people and our fans to continue to make moments with The Bloodline, with the Roman Reigns character, and really just dive in and take control themselves, it's a cool chapter for what we're doing.' The game will be available on March 14, plenty of time for gamers to lay the smack down with their controllers ahead of the April 19 and 20 WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas. Reigns joined some of WWE's greats to earn a cover shot, along with previous stars Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, Rey Mysterio and John Cena. Bret 'Hitman' Hart, Chyna, Batista, The Rock, 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, CM Punk and Becky Lynch are among the 300 WWE superstars available as part of the largest roster in the game's history. The Undertaker is on the Deadman Edition cover, while The Bloodline Edition cover features members of both Reigns' and Solo Sikoa's Bloodline factions, including Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman interwoven into the roots and branches of the iconic Bloodline family tree. WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition and The Bloodline Edition are scheduled for a March 7 release. 'We earned it,' Reigns said of the cover. 'We set out to be very special.' Reigns shared the cover in 2020 with Lynch. The 39-year-old Reigns continues to perform at the highest level in professional wrestling and competed in the main event of both nights of WrestleMania last year in Philadelphia. Reigns, who played college football at Georgia Tech, has been a staple in WrestleMania events and should be a major player again in this year's card at Allegiant Stadium. He last missed a WrestleMania during the pandemic 2020 card when the show was held inside an empty arena because of the coronavirus. Reigns pulled out of the company's version of the Super Bowl, in large part because of his health. While Roman Reigns — billed at 6-foot-3, 265 pounds — the WWE character has largely been unbeatable, the real-life Leati Joseph Anoa'i has battled leukemia since 2007 and had to step away from the company in 2018. His leukemia diagnosis left him immunocompromised, and he told The Associated Press it's a never-ending fight that will be part of him for the rest of his life. 'I look at health in a couple of different layers because when you look at someone it's, oh, they look healthy,' Reigns said. 'But, what's your bloodwork look like? How are you feeling? What's your energy look like? I'm very blessed to be able to say it's all good for me right now. My bloodwork, everything that involved the leukemia, all that is in a great range, and at bay. We're still working on that zeroed-out molecular remission, but it's under a level that's sustainable to where we're in a very good place.' Reigns said he feels great physically and mentally and will compete in WWE's next signature event, the Royal Rumble on Saturday in Indianapolis. This time, as a 2K25 cover star. 'Right now," Reigns said, "I'm in a good place.' ___ AP sports: recommended in this topic
