Yemeni unity historic strategic achievement achieved by popular will as irreversible principle and choice

Sana'a - Saba: From a religious and national perspective, Yemeni unity remains, for all free Yemenis, a constant and a crucial issue that cannot be abandoned or compromised, as the alternative is dispersion, division, fragmentation, and petty projects that serve only enemies and the greedy. Despite all the events and turning points that Yemen has experienced over the past decade and a half, including the direct military aggression against the country by the same forces that conspire and hate Yemeni unity, the subsequent occupation of a portion of Yemeni territory, and the establishment of militia entities affiliated with the aggression coalition, whose primary goal is to undermine the unity of Yemenis and sow the seeds of division and conflict among them, unity has endured and remained steadfast and impervious to all challenges and conspiracies. The achievement of Yemeni unity 35 years ago was a historic and exceptional event, considered by all free Arab peoples to be the nucleus or first building block on the path to Arab unity and the starting point for emerging from the state of disintegration and division imposed by colonialism and foreign occupation. This was reflected in President Mahdi Al-Mashat's speech, which emphasized that Yemeni unity was not merely a national achievement, but rather represented the true nucleus and first building block toward achieving comprehensive Arab unity. A careful reading of the speeches of the revolutionary and political leadership, including President Al-Mashat's speech last night on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22, reveals the wise vision regarding national unity as a principle and an irreversible choice, based on Allah Almighty's directives to His faithful servants to unite and reject division and disunity, given their dangerous consequences in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, President Al-Mashat's speech was clear regarding his commitment to Yemeni unity. He stated that this was not out of emotion, but rather out of faith, patriotism, rationality, and Arabism, it also stems from awareness and understanding that fragmentation is not a solution, and that the mistakes of the past cannot be addressed through division and separation, but rather through fairness, justice, and reform, ensuring the rights and fair participation of all Yemenis. With this fair and rational vision, the leadership closes the door to all those who attempt to exploit unity under any pretext, it demonstrates a strong commitment to fairness, justice, reform, the realization of rights, and the provision of opportunities for fair participation for all, far removed from fragmentation and division. Unity, in the eyes of the leadership and all free Yemenis, is a crucial issue and an integral part of Yemen's unifying identity, it is a strategic achievement that cannot be compromised or renounced, this is why President Al-Mashat warned the aggressor states and their affiliated militias against any attempt to undermine Yemeni unity. Despite the Yemeni people, leadership, and army's current preoccupation with supporting the brotherly Palestinian people in confronting the Israeli aggression on Gaza as a central issue, a principle of faith, and a promise made by Yemen to its betrayed Arab and Islamic brothers in Gaza, His Excellency the President affirmed the continuation of jihad and struggle until the liberation of every inch of the Yemeni Republic's territory and the expulsion of the invading occupiers. There is no doubt that all forces, including the occupying forces, will take into account everything issued by the leadership in Sana'a, now that everyone has witnessed the sincerity of its intentions and its uncompromising stance on matters related to national principles and sovereignty, a fact that has been proven over time. One of the most important messages contained in the speech of the President of the Supreme Political Council was to remind all those who bet on foreign powers that their bet is a losing bet, and that this path leads to destruction and failure. Adherence to the people's choice, however, is the path to a better future. In this context, President Al-Mashat addressed the deplorable state of those who betrayed Yemeni unity and ended up living in hotels and foreign capitals, while the people of the occupied territories face hardship and hardship, the woes of collapse, and a lack of services. He described the state of affairs of citizens in that beloved part of the country, which lies under the yoke of occupation, as sad, given the practices and violations they are subjected to by the subservient gang of vassalage to the occupier, this gang has not preserved public funds, the dignity of the people, or the independence of the nation, but has simultaneously exposed the dangerous model that the enemy seeks to implement and spread. Among the messages is also the fact that the Yemeni people have remained united throughout history, despite the differences of nations and the succession of civilizations, even during the time of invasion and occupation, it remained united in the face of the challenges that threatened its unity and social fabric, just as it overcame attempts at division in the past and regionalization in the present, it is capable of breaking all attempts to divide it and dismantle its historical structure. President Al-Mashat's speech was full of expressions of pride and appreciation for the blessed unity of the nation, he considered it a national and historical achievement, not limited to a particular region or group, but rather a natural extension of a long history of national struggle. In the leadership's view, Yemeni unity is not merely a geographical unity; it is a unity of hearts, destiny, and stance. Today, it represents the pride and honor of Yemen, guarantees its sovereignty, and is the safe haven that unites the people of Yemen under one umbrella, challenges cannot be faced, imbalances and mistakes can only be remedied through unity and unification. Just as the Yemeni people were able to end the British occupation in the south of the country and achieve their independence after decades of domination, His Excellency the President indicated that this authentic people understands today, more than ever, the consequences of division and disunity sought by their enemies, having experienced the brutality of British colonialism and withstood the US-Saudi aggression over the past decade, this people cannot accept turning back the clock. Rather, they will continue to preserve the country's sovereignty and independence under the banner of unity, which guarantees the rights of all its citizens without prejudice.
