Incident of 'public indecency' reported on Stockton bus as police inquiries ongoing

Inquiries are ongoing into an incident of alleged public indecency on a bus in Stockton. Cleveland Police has confirmed no arrests have been made following report of public indecency on a bus in Stockton at around 2.40pm on Monday, July 7. Inquiries are being carried out by officers into the report. It's alleged that two people were engaging in sexual activity on the 52 bus, although the details of the reported incident have not been conformed by the force. A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact us on 101, quoting reference number 125590." A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: 'We are aware of an alleged incident on one of our buses, and we are assisting police with their enquiries.' New Delhi: Investors' wealth jumped by Rs9.70 lakh crore in three days of market rally amid growing optimism following easing geopolitical tensions. On Thursday, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 1,000.36 points or 1.21 per cent to settle at 83,755.87. The market capitalisation of BSE-listed firms jumped by Rs9,70,200.71 crore to Rs4,57,52,700.57 crore ($5.34 trillion) in three days. 'Indian equity markets extended their gains on Thursday supported by strength in metal stocks and easing geopolitical concerns. With geopolitical tensions easing, macroeconomic indicators stabilising, the broader market appears to be regaining confidence,' Gaurav Garg, Analyst, Lemonn Markets Desk, said.

Mumbai: Under the pretext of getting government jobs in the Indian Railways, 13 people were cheated of Rs 1 crore collectively in Navghar police have registered a case of cheating, forgery and threatening against seven accused, all are residents of Andhra Pradesh, and are investigating further. The job scam was discovered when a complainant was not given the exact date of joining and also did not receive a clear reply regarding the job from the accused. When asked to return the money, the victims were abused and threatened. In March 2023, the complainant learned about the job openings in the railways. Upon seeking more information, the complainant was asked to pay Rs 10 lakh. The complainant's family and friends were also keen to be part of this offer and were told to pay Rs 10 lakh per job. The complainant transferred around Rs 36.30 lakh online and Rs 66.40 lakh in cash, to the accused. They were also given fake offer letters and ID cards and a badge as well.
