Is Justin Bieber Going on Tour 'SWAG'? Details Revealed

Think we can all agree that SWAG is Justin Bieber's greatest work to-date, but what are the chances of hearing him perform the new album live? Nothing's been announced just yet, but there's speculation the singer could be heading to Australia for a tour. Here's what we know: Page Six reports that "those close to him" think Justin should "take the stage again" since it's "one of the places he gets to feel most validated." As their source put it, "He needs to perform. What is his game plan? He's going to have to figure out what's next, unless he wants to be a stay-at-home dad while his wife is running her billion-dollar company." Meanwhile, radio show 6PR Perth teased a tour in Australia, with hosts Millsy and Karl saying "rumor has it that with the release of his new album SWAG, pop icon Justin Bieber will announce an Australian tour… he will make his way to Perth." Sounds promising, but before you panic-buy tickets to Australia, Rolling Stone got in touch with Frontier Touring (they've worked with Justin before), who said it "had no information on any potential local tour plans." Mmmkay! As a reminder, Justin cancelled his last tour (the Justice World Tour) for heath reasons after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, telling fans in part, "After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realised that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be ok, but I need some time to rest and get better." At this point, he hasn't revealed if he plans to tour SWAG, but stay tuned!

Children stood up at school holiday program as West Coast Eagles torn to shreds for ‘misunderstanding'

Families are demanding answers after a paid school holiday program was left short-changed after the West Coast Eagles pulled out of the event at the last minute. Children kitted out in full Eagles gear turned up to a planned event – which required families to book and pay for their kids – at the Victoria Park leisure centre on Monday morning, but left disappointed after the AFL stars promised never showed up. 'Unfortunately, when I picked my kids up, they were quite disappointed and sad to let me know that the Eagles didn't show up.' have reached out to the West Coast Eagles for comment. When asked by host Simon Beaumont about what explanation was given for the stars' no-show, Livsey said there was nothing said, and it was just another case of the Eagles falling short in their community obligations. 'My understanding is that this is not a one-off event (from the Eagles). This is a repeated failure by the Eagles to deliver on community obligations,' she said. 'It's also important to understand that the arrangement between the town of Vic Park and the Eagles is connected to the Lathlain Park deal, where the Eagles have premises within the town of Vic Park. 'A condition as part of the deal is that the Eagles are required to perform 100 hours per year of player involvement in events such as this.' The Eagles said they had to pull out at the last minute due to players being unavailable, stating it was simply a misunderstanding to 6PR: 'There was a misunderstanding regarding player availability on the day. 'The club will have conversations with the organisers about facilitating the next visit.'

Anthony Albanese defends appointing Victorian MP Tim Watts to new role of Special Envoy for Indian Ocean Affairs

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has defended his decision to appoint a Victorian MP to the newly-created position of Special Envoy for Indian Ocean Affairs. Mr Albanese revealed on Monday that Tim Watts, the MP for Gellibrand which takes in parts of Melbourne's south-west including Altona and Point Cook, would take up the role. The announcement came as Mr Watts was demoted from the position of assistant minister for foreign affairs, a role he had held since June 2022. In an interview with 6PR Perth, Mr Albanese was quizzed on why he had not appointed a Western Australian as the envoy given "it's this side of the country Prime Minister?". "Well, (Mr Watts) is very passionate, has built up really strong relationships, particularly with India and Sri Lanka and Indonesia in the region, as the assistant minister for foreign affairs," the Prime Minister told host Oliver Peterson on Wednesday afternoon. "I wanted him to be able to continue that work." Mr Watts said he was looking forward to "further building Australia's partnership with this important region in my new role". "Australia has shared interests with the countries of the Indian Ocean, including India, in maintaining the peace, stability and prosperity of the Indian Ocean, in all countries growing their economies and deciding their own futures," he said in a post on LinkedIn. "I have travelled extensively to the Indian Ocean region in recent years. I have attended two IORA Council of Ministers meetings, in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. "I also attended two Indian Ocean Conferences, in Bangladesh and in Perth. I have visited India on many occasions, including to open the Consulate-General in Kolkata. "I will work with the countries of the Indian Ocean to increase our trade, investment, diplomatic and development ties, maintain the strategic balance of our region, and work on shared challenges including maritime and economic security, climate change and disaster resilience." Mr Albanese instead appointed Matt Thistlethwaite, the MP for Kingsford Smith in Sydney's south-east, as assistant minister for foreign affairs and trade as part of the post-election ministry changes. The Prime Minister said he had boosted the number of Western Australian MPs in cabinet, with Cowan MP Anne Aly promoted to Minister for Small Business, International Development and Multicultural Affairs. Ms Aly joins Minister for Resources and Northern Australia and Brand MP Madeleine King as the Western Australian representatives in cabinet. Burt MP Matt Keogh sits in the outer ministry as Minister for Veterans' Affairs and Defence Personnel, while Perth MP Patrick Gorman is the Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister and Assistant Minister for the Public Service, and Employment and Workplace Relations. "I have doubled the number of people from WA in the cabinet with Anne Aly's very welcome elevation. And I've got now an ever increasing WA caucus," Mr Albanese said. "I just held a press conference in beautiful Kings Park there, overlooking the Swan, and with Tom French, now the incoming Labor MP for Moore, and Trish Cook, who won the new seat at Bullwinkel. "But also two new Labor Senators, Ellie Whiteaker, who ran the campaign here for Labor in WA and Deep Singh, an incoming Labor Senator, he's not quite across the line yet, but we're very hopeful that he will be elected as an additional Senator from WA. "So, the WA contingent is getting stronger and stronger and therefore the representation's getting stronger and stronger as well."
