Levelling the playing field with popular Curro Salt Rock Winter Football Clinic
Curro Salt Rock hosted its inaugural Winter Football Clinic during the school holidays.
Running from July 7 to 18, the clinic brought together boys and girls from across KwaDukuza. A total of 82 players – aged 10 to 19 – attended from Ballito, Salt Rock, Shakaskraal, Groutville, Stanger and Tongaat.
Curro Primary School Head of Sport, Phelelani Mtembu, said the clinic aimed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by offering high-quality coaching to both private and public-school pupils.

'This clinic was about more than football,' said Mtembu. 'It was about creating access, building confidence and showing young athletes that they belong to a community.
