Audio streaming brand Eversolo has begun shipping the new Eversolo Play, an all-in-one streaming amplifier that puts everything you need to stream contained in one compact box. All you need to do is add a pair of bookshelf speakers although it doesn't have a headphone jack for private listening.
First announced at the High-End Munich 2025 show last month, the new Eversolo Play combines an amplifier, DAC and streaming software in one compact device that enables users to listen to lossless audio as part of a home music system.
Equipped with the high-performance AK4493 DAC chip, the Eversolo Play has an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of ≥109dB (A-wt) and an ultra-low Total Harmonic Distortion of 0.0037%. The amplifier is a Class D type with a maximum output of 60W at 8Ω and 110W at 4Ω, which is plenty enough to drive a pair of bookshelf speakers
Eversolo Play provides a deep integration with many music streaming platforms including TIDAL, Qobuz, TuneIn Radio, Deezer and Amazon Music, to name a few. Close integration means a uniform operational logic and user interface that makes the Eversolo Play easy to use. There is support for streaming protocols like Roon Ready, Qobuz Connect and TIDAL Connect that can play music directly from the streaming service servers.

With both wireless streaming and network cloud support—including UPnP and WebDAV—the device can instantly access local NAS or cloud storage for playing files stored on a local library.
When accessing a local library, Eversolo Play has a self-developed library management system that supports multi-dimensional and cross-platform music data management. Users can find their music with global search functions that offers quick song retrieval from online sources as well as music stored on local music libraries.
With multi-room functionality and a built-in amplifier, the Eversolo Play is easy to set up as part of a whole-home Hi-Fi system. Users can have Eversolo Play units in different rooms for a multi-room music system. Tracks and volume can be remotely controlled using the Eversolo app.
Room Correction is another feature built into the device which uses a smartphone's microphone or an external USB microphone to analyze the acoustic characteristics of a room before automatically adjusting the EQ settings to compensate for the room's acoustic deficiencies. The result is an optimal and consistent musical experience all around the home.

The Eversolo Play is housed in a CNC unibody construction that's made from a high-strength aluminum alloy. The structure is rigid and is sufficiently shielded against external electromagnetic interference to keep the audio signal as pure as possible. The base of the device has a full-coverage heatsink to reduce internal component temperatures for a stable performance of PCBs and chips.
Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the Eversolo Play is its vibrant 5.5-inch color touchscreen featuring ultra-low latency controls and a freshly designed user interface. Eversolo has upgraded the screen's appearance after feedback from customers. The result is simplified device controls split into six zones: "Music Services, Functions, Apps, Connect, Cloud and Settings.
The rear of the Eversolo Play has a Trigger In port for synchronizing system control with other HiFi components. Digital inputs include HDMI ARC for TV sound and optical and coaxial digital inputs for are connecting external audio devices like a CD player or digital radio tuner.

A pair of speakers can be connected directly to the Eversolo Play plus and there is also a USB 3.0 OTG port for expanding the device's storage capacity with external hard drives for holding a local music library. There is a USB Audio Out port that supports reference-grade Stereo DSD512 Native and PCM 768kHz/32bit formats and can deliver a pure digital stream to a high-end external DAC.
The Eversolo Play is available in two versions: the Eversolo Play Standard Edition is priced at $699 / €699 while the Eversolo CD Edition with built-in CD drive costs $799 / €799.
