A massive new EDM festival is hitting Randall's Island this fall
New York City's dance floors are about to get a serious upgrade: This September, EDM heavyweight John Summit is launching Experts Only Festival NYC, a brand-new, two-day electronic music blowout set to take over Randall's Island on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21. Poised to become the largest dance music festival in NYC history, the event is gearing up to draw more than 50,000 fans for a stacked lineup and high-voltage party vibes. Summit, fresh off selling out Madison Square Garden in under two hours (casual), will headline twice over the weekend. But he's not coming alone. The lineup is a who's-who of house and techno royalty: think Kaskade B2B Cassian, Green Velvet B2B Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, AYYBO, Pete Tong, DJ Seinfeld and many more, with more names still to be announced. The festival—produced by John Summit's Experts Only label in partnership with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats and EMW—will span two stages and feature more than 15 acts, bringing top-tier sound design, next-level visuals and a Gen Z-approved energy to the green expanse of Randall's Island. (Yes, the same stomping grounds that once hosted Electric Zoo and Governors Ball.) This isn't just another rave-in-the-park, though. The team is also pulling out all the stops with immersive stage builds, interactive brand activations and a curated LIV Skydeck VIP experience straight from the Fontainebleau clubs in Miami and Vegas—complete with bottle service and skyline views. Tickets start at $119.99 (no fees!), with VIP and Platinum options topping out at $799.99. Pre-registration is open now, with pre-sale kicking off Friday, July 11, at 10 a.m. EST. A portion of ticket sales will benefit FEMME HOUSE, a nonprofit championing inclusivity in dance music, co-founded by LP Giobbi.

Read more Music News Check out his playlist below and what he thinks about each track: Robin Schulz, NERVO, KOPPY – Freaking You Out This one is really special to me. Working with NERVO was super fun and the track brings such a special energy. I can't wait to have the girls back at Pacha at the end of May to celebrate our release together. Chris Lake, Ragie Ban – Toxic Most read in Music This track has such a specific and dark driving vibe. It builds tension in the right way and when the drop hits, the energy in the crowd just explodes. It's a real mood-setter. Frank Ocean - Lost (Gabss, Vintage Culture Edit) The original is a classic, and this remix gives it a real club vibe. It's one of those tracks where people sing along but still keep dancing. I heard this one on the US tour for the very first time when I entered the villa and my whole crew were vibing to it. Since then, it has become the tour soundtrack. A very special one for me. AYYBO & Taylr Renee - Obsession Super minimal, super groovy. It's one of those tracks that locks people in without being too loud or in-your-face. Overall, it was super nice, balanced, and the right pick for a proper night. SIDEPIECE – Lick This one is really fun and a bit naughty. It hits hard while the vocal sticks and people always react to it. It's a real banger and brings the right energy to the floor. Dom Dolla feat. Daya - Dreamin (Anyma Remix) Two worlds colliding here. Dom's groove with Anyma's emotional depth. It's a powerful moment in the set where things go a bit more epic and melodic. Cassian – SOS Beautiful and emotional, but still has a pulse that keeps the energy flowing. I love dropping this one because it really has a unique energy. Cloonee, Young M.A & InntRaw - Stephanie (HNTR Remix) This remix has some serious punch. It takes the original to a darker, more driving place which is perfect when I want to shift gears in the set and take things deeper. I loved to play the original one before, but this remix caught me even more. Robin Schulz, OSWALD - eternal life This track means a lot to me. It shows where I'm at musically right now. Emotional, uplifting, but a bit more club-focused. Playing it live always feels special. Zombie Nation – Kernkraft 400 (James Hype Edit) It's a total classic, and the James Hype edit gives it a fresh energy. Everyone knows it; everyone is going crazy. It's one of those guaranteed moments in my sets.
