Julian McMahon's Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano calls out fake tributes to late Aussie star: ‘Stop'
Julian McMahon's former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano has pleaded with fans to stop using AI to mourn the loss of the beloved actor. The actress took to Instagram to beg followers to be more respectful in the wake of the Aussie star's death last week after a private battle with cancer. In an emotional post, Milano, 51, asked fans to refrain from using fabricated or AI-generated images and videos to pay tribute to the late star. 'Charmed fans/accounts! | love and appreciate you so much but please stop using Al to fabricate emotion from Julian McMahon's death,' she wrote in a post. 'It is totally unessessary (sic) when there are real moments you can use from his nearly 35 years in the public eye. And please be considerate to Julian's grieving family and friends during this difficult time.' Milano played witch Phoebe Halliwell on Charmed with McMahon playing her love interest, Cole Turner, from 2000 to 2005. Their relationship became a central storyline on the Aaron Spelling-produced series, with their characters going on to get married before Cole turned into a half-demon named Belthazor. When paying tribute to McMahon after his death, Milano said she was 'heartbroken' but will always cherish their time together on set. 'Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. He walked into a room and lit it up – not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding,' she began in her post. 'We spent years together on Charmed – years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments. He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me. We were so different, and yet somehow we always understood each other. Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. 'Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I'll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian.' It was McMahon's real-life wife of 11 years, author Kelly McMahon, who shared the sad news of his passing last Thursday, aged 56. 'With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,' she wrote in a statement to Deadline. 'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.' The actor is also survived by his only child, Madison, who he shared with ex-wife Brooke Burns. Upon his death, Burns, who starred on Baywatch, reacted to the news by sharing a happy snap of 25-year-old Madison with her father.

Sad reality of resurfaced Julian McMahon photo days after his death
A decades-old photo of Julian McMahon has resurfaced following his sad death from cancer just days ago. In the photo taken in 2001, the Australian actor is seen with Charmed co-star Shannen Doherty, who also sadly died from cancer this same month last year – he was 56, she was 53. This heartbreaking detail is not lost on fans of the fantasy drama, who pointed out the similarities between the co-stars' deaths. 'Shannen Doherty and Julian McMahon from Charmed both dying from cancer in July almost a year from each other is so wild. May they both rest in peace,' one fan tweeted on X, alongside the photo of the pair snapped during the Television Critics Association Cable Tour in LA. 'I cannot believe we lost these two in less than a year,' another commented. 'This is so devastating. talented, beautiful, beloved and iconic actors of 90s/2000s. and we lost them way too young. rest in peace, julian mcmahon and shannen doherty.' 'I can't believe they're both gone, Julian McMahon and Shannen Doherty forever in our hearts,' yet another fan expressed, as one wrote, 'Shannen and Julian fought the biggest demon of all … cancer.' The pair starred on the Aaron Spelling-produced series for five years, with Doherty playing lead witch Prue Halliwell while McMahon played half-demon Cole Turner, the love interest of her sister Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano). Doherty even directed McMahon and the cast for two episodes of Season 3, titled 'The Good, the Bad and the Cursed' and 'All Hell Breaks Loose'. The pair also reportedly dated during Season 3 in 2001. But their romance was short lived when Doherty left the show. It was later revealed that she was fired due to her on-screen feud with Milano. At the time, McMahon was also going through a divorce from his second wife, Baywatch star Brooke Burns. He was also briefly married to Aussie pop star Dannii Minogue from 1994 to 1995. Away from Charmed, Doherty and McMahon starred on the 2001 TV movie Another Day, playing each other's love interests in the thriller. McMahon's Charmed co-stars were among the many to pay tribute to the star after his death from a secret battle with cancer. 'One of a kind is an understatement,' Holly Marie Combs, who played Piper Halliwell on the show, captioned her Instagram video montage. 'Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humour will be sorely missed. The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered.' 'I hope you find our lady friend and dance in those rose petals,' she added, referring to Doherty, who passed away on July 13, 2024. Milano also remembered her former co-star in an emotional post on Instagram. 'I'm heartbroken. Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. He walked into a room and lit it up – not just with charisma, but with kindness,' she began in part in a lengthy statement. 'We spent years together on Charmed – years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments. He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me … Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend.'

‘7th Heaven' Reboot From Jessica Biel In Development; Fun Factoids About The Original Series
2/1/99 Los Angeles, CA Jessica Biel and the Cast of "7th Heaven" at the First Annual TV Guide ... More Awards. Another TV series reboot could be on the way. Family drama 7th Heaven, which aired for 11 seasons (10 on The WB and one final season on The CW) and was producer Aaron Spelling's longest-running show, is eyeing a comeback. Focused on the fictional Camden clan, 7th Heaven followed Reverend Eric Camden (Stephen Collins), a Protestant minister living in the fictional town of Glen Oak, California, and his wife Annie (Catherine Hicks) as they dealt with the raising five children at the inception (and seven in later seasons). In the planned revival of 7th Heaven, the expected focus is on a more diverse family with an entirely new cast. Jessica Biel, who played oldest daughter Mary in the original series (and exited as a regular after six seasons), is executive producing under her Iron Ocean banner along with Michelle Purple. DeVon Franklin will executive produce via Franklin Entertainment and his overall deal with CBS Studios. And Anthony Sparks (Queen Sugar, Lincoln Heights) will serve as an executive producer and showrunner. To whet your appetite for this '7th Heaven 2.0,' here are some fun factoids about the original series. 1) 7th Heaven, which ran from 1996 to 2007, was also former network The WB's longest-running series. Then WB dramas like Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Dawson's Creek and Felicity were more in the media spotlight, but it was 7th Heaven that had the longest shelf life.
