Tender envelopes opened for Solar Power Station of Al-Bayda City Water Project

Sana'a – Saba: The Social Fund for Development (SFD) – Main Headquarters in Sana'a, today witnessed the opening of tender envelopes for the solar power station project for the Al-Bayda City Water Project, with a cost of $1.4 million, funded by the Dutch government and implemented by the Fund. The event was attended by Al-Bayda Governor and Chairman of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, Abdullah Idris; Deputy Governor Nasser Al-Aji; Water Projects Officer at the SFD in Sana'a, Ahmed Ghamdan; and the General Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, Abdulghani Al-Mukhtar. Governor Idris emphasized the importance of implementing the project to provide drinking water for citizens and alleviate their suffering amid the current difficult conditions in the country. He also expressed the local authority's readiness to overcome any obstacles to ensure the project's execution and improve water services for the residents of Al-Bayda city. For his part, Al-Mukhtar stated that implementing the solar power station for the city's water project is among the top priority projects, given its significant role in reducing the burden on residents. He pointed out that the project will help lower the costs of water production through the use of solar energy. He also confirmed that a lithium battery will be integrated into the hybrid operating system alongside solar power, marking the first use of this technology to reduce fuel consumption at the water pumping station. Bayda rallies affirm continued support for Gaza, holy sites

Bayda – Saba: Bayda governorate on Friday witnessed massive public marches in its center and districts, held under the slogan "We will continue to support Gaza and the holy sites, regardless of the challenges," in support of the Palestinian people and Islamic holy sites. Crowds, led by governor Abdullah Idris and other officials, raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags, condemning the genocidal massacres in Gaza and affirming their continued support for Palestinians and readiness to confront the Zionist enemy. The crowds renewed their absolute mandate to Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to take appropriate measures for Gaza. The people of al-Bayda also condemned the Zionist aggression against Iran, asserting Iran's right to respond to this aggression aimed at deterring its support for Palestine. A statement from the marches highlighted Gaza's dire humanitarian conditions, urging continued support, confrontation of famine-engineering, and exposure of criminal American companies involved in aid obstruction. The statement reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for Gaza and confidence in Iran's ability to teach the Zionist enemy the harshest lessons, offering condolences for Iran's martyrs. It called on Arab and Islamic nations to beware of divine punishment for inaction, praised Yemeni armed forces' successful naval and air blockade strikes, and criticized Arab and Islamic regimes for continuing to supply the Zionist enemy. Bayda - Saba: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris on Monday met with sheikhs and social figures from al-Sharaf Sub-district in Bayda Rural district. The meeting, attended by province undersecretary Yahya al- Mansouri and various military and security leaders, saw the governor convey Eid al-Adha congratulations from the Revolutionary Leadership and Supreme Political Council. He praised the significant role of al-Sharaf and Bayda rural residents in supporting the army and confronting "takfiri forces and mercenaries of aggression," who were attempting to reach the provincial capital. Governor Idris affirmed the local authority's commitment to implementing development and service projects in the district, including completing the road linking al-Sharaf with Mukairas, and Bayda city to ease travel. He also lauded the revolutionary leadership's steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian people and the Yemeni armed forces' "qualitative military operations" against the "Zionist entity" in response to Gaza crimes.
