Saudi: Absher carries out over 42mln e-transactions in May
RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior's electronic platform Absher carried out a total of 42,566,550 e-transactions for beneficiaries through Absher Individuals and Absher Business during the last month of May. The number of transactions completed through Absher Individuals, reached 39,427,170, including 31,660,070 document views via the digital wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors through the Absher app. Absher Business recorded 3,139,380 transactions. The number of transactions related to the services of the General Directorate of Public Security reached 3,447,975, of which 3,376,852 were carried out through the General Department of Traffic. The General Directorate of Passports recorded 2,449,318 transactions, while the Agency of Civil Affairs at the Ministry of Interior processed 575,770 transactions. Under public services via Absher Individuals, 109,735 reports were issued through the Absher Reports service, 58,212 requests were made for document delivery by post, and 3,201 general fingerprint inquiries were processed. © Copyright 2022 The Saudi Gazette. Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior's electronic platform Absher had carried out a total of 40,276,727 electronic transactions during the month of April for beneficiaries through Absher Individuals and Absher Business. The number of transactions completed through the Absher Individuals reached 37,944,315, including 28,575,264 document reviews through the digital wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors via the Absher app. Meanwhile, the number of transactions on the Absher Business platform reached 2,332,412. The number of transactions executed for the services of the General Directorate of Public Security reached 3,370,723, including 3,280,059 transactions at the General Traffic Department; 2,042,818 transactions at the General Directorate of Passports, and 545,699 transactions at the Ministry of Interior's Civil Status Agency. Through the public services on the Absher Individuals platform, 79,257 reports were issued in the Absher Reports service; 79,140 requests for document delivery by mail, and 1,759 general inquiries about fingerprints were made. It is worthy to note that the number of unified digital identities issued by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher platform has exceeded 28 million. These identities can easily and reliably benefit from the services of the Ministry of Interior's sectors through its electronic platforms Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government, and access more than 500 government and private entities through the unified national access portal Nafath.

Of the total, 31,504,684 transactions were conducted via the Absher Individuals platform. These included 24,105,114 document reviews through the digital wallet service, available to citizens, residents, and visitors through the Absher app. The Absher Business platform recorded 2,139,390 transactions. The General Directorate of Public Security carried out 2,694,362 transactions during the same period, including 2,606,512 transactions by the General Department of Traffic, 3,851,454 by the General Directorate of Passports, and 330,745 by the Ministerial Agency of Civil Affairs.
