Shane Lowry throws glitzy bash for wife Wendy's milestone birthday
Champion golfer Shane Lowry hosted a star-studded celebration for his wife Wendy's 40th birthday at the popular celebrity hotspot House Dublin last Saturday evening, can reveal.
The PGA star reserved the entire garden area to ensure the exclusive guest list could enjoy the festivities in privacy.
True to his down-to-earth reputation, the Offaly native made sure Wendy was surrounded by close family, friends, and a select group from their showbiz circle. 'Lowry booked out all of the garden area of House for Wendys' birthday,' a nightclub source told 'He wanted to make sure they could have a good night without being interrupted,' said the source.
And indeed by all accounts the invited guests had a 'great night' with celebrations going on in the wee small hours. View this post on Instagram

'Shane is well-known for being one of the most down-to-earth people. And anytime he's out he has no problem stopping to chat to anyone who recognises him or wants a selfie with him.

Also spotted at the private party was Love/Hate actor Laurence Kinlan, who is known to have developed a famously close friendship with both Shane and Wendy Lowry.
